  1. Mantis would likely be your best bet.
  2. At my brothers wedding in Glasgow, one of the guests had the alloys swiped off their car. My Brothers wife to be being very well connected in Glasgow made one phone call and they were back on the car within the hour. Keeping it on topic...going to a wedding where the reception was being held at a pub in Blackhill. What else...... Reading a book by candlelight, falling asleep and waking up holding a ball of fire. Burning boiled eggs....twice Volunteering to go bottom of a 12 man boardy attempt on a tarzan swing - resulted in a broken arm. Messing about with homemade bow and arrow as kids and getting an arrow lodged in my eye. Sending an e.mail to my line manager calling a guy from another dept a tosser and copying the guy in on it :029: The rest are just far to embarrassing to be shared....sorry :015:
  3. Up the Elephant and Round the Castle
  4. Having worked one summer in a Butchers I'd say you were ok to leave out the disclaimer :015:
  5. You forgot the "first drink free for ICT fans" bit from yer post :023: :015:
  6. I once asked for a Black Cappuccino in the wee cafe in Aviemore - the lass toddled of in blissful ignorance, then all I heard was an eruption of laughter from the kitchen. It was cruel, but funny and I did leave her a decent tip to ease the embarrassment. Back to unusual foods, being a lover of fondue I've tried things like Shark, Alligator, Rattlesnake, Ostrich, Frogs Legs, Buffalo, Venison, Wild Boar, Ostrich and countless types of fish I ain't ever heard of before or since and can't recall the names. I've also had Sushi and Sashimi a few times and wouldn't claim to know what I was eating then either. Was in a really expensive restaurant in London a few years back (the type with no prices on the menu) and had Sashimi but declined the Fugu option...any fish that goes to the trouble of filling it's system with deadly poisons is sending out a clear message that it does not want to be on your dinner plate and we should respect that :015:
  7. Scotty is better versed on who has what media rights for which team but my understanding is that neither us (ICT) or Hibs put any restrictions in place for overseas viewers/listeners. I did have trouble viewing from the Sportscene page but was able to get the highlights from the link at the top of This Page - make sure you have selected the UK Version radio button at the top of the page.
  8. Silly me for expecting fair and unbiased reporting/highlights :rolleyes02: I'll just go now and slip into the small team mentality which reasons that we don't deserve any recognition on the grounds of geography and crowds sizes. Anyway, wtf happened to you on Saturday, thought you were coming to buy me a drink before the game?
  9. New configuration should reduce the number of page not found errors etc witnessed during peak usage as well.
  10. Just watched the BBC Highlights of the weekends game and have to say they are a complete and utter joke. In a game where Hibs spent most of the time on the back foot having rings run round them the BBC have managed to make Hibs look like the dominant team. I'd bet money on it having been put together by a Hibs fan :018:
  11. I hate these types of games against middle of the road opponents :029:
  12. Yes, I did do it in reverse, but that was as much through choice as it was circumstance. I wouldn't go back to my old bank job if they paid me 5 times more for doing it. I'm currently going through a phase of not knowing what I want to do next, which I find quite surprising as I'm not one for job hopping. Since leaving school I've only had 3 different full-time employers!!!
  13. I was ok with Chicken Feet until I was told what they were and would love to try the 1000 year old Egg deal. I've had Pigeon on a few occasions, the first time being at a scout camp where you just took the pigeon and caked it in clay - no need to remove feathers, guts or the like - and throw it on an open fire and leave it while you go off and do something more interesting instead. When you crack the clay open, all the feathers etc have stuck to it and come clean away and the guts have all shriveled up into a small ball and can just be discarded. Slightly off at a tangent, I have a weird psychological thing that goes on with tomatoes. I love the taste but can only eat them if they are sliced - trying to eat chunks of tomato just causes me to gag!!!
  14. Wouldn't argue with that.
  15. Not had *****, but Sweetbreads have passed my lips :015:
  16. Have been lucky enough to try many different exotic meats and some not so exotic ones The strangest or most unusual thing I can think of though was a slater omelette. Slaters have a surprising prawn like taste to them.
  17. Project Manager/Senior Analyst working on multi-million pound projects to bus driver :001:

  20. Are you sure you were watching the game at Easter Road? I was nervous of our defense early on due to past perfromance but as the game proceeded they looked confident in everything they had to deal with. Apart from one small blip right at the end I don't recall any bomb scares.
  21. Here is my "I want one" - Clicky Clicky
  22. If it's not broke, don't fix it - same as team for Hibs please Brew :021:

Stomach looks to have been right with Ridgers having 4 put past him yesterday!!!!
  24. From what you watched at the match yesterday, who would you have put Deano in ahead of and what would have made him more effective than what we had on the pitch?
  25. We never played much of the long punt up the park yesterday, but we were utilising the wings a lot and you need forwards with height to pick up on the crosses in to the box. When we were playing the ball through the middle it was often with pace to the feet of Brew or Niculae who 9 times out of 10 were being harassed by a defender. Deano simply wouldn't have had the size or presence to be coping with either situation too well. As you've said, you'd be looking to change the way we play to accommodate Deano. This is a team that have been struggling to find consistency, the last thing they need right now is wholesale changes to the team and tactics. We need to get back to playing to our strengths to get us of the bottom and that's what we did yesterday. I'm not knocking Deano, I think he is an exciting prospect, but he will just have to bide his time until the situation, game or tactics calls for his style of play.
