I do have the clubs twitter feed connected to/available through Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/ICTFC/app_116943498446376 You can also follow the Twitter feed (without having a twitter account/app) via your mobile browser at the following link : https://mobile.twitter.com/ICTFC Hopefully one of the above two solutions works for you. Facebook timeline doesn't lend itself to being used to stream updates in the way that Twitter does....and nor are it's users tolerant of such activity, meaning we'd likely have more people tuning out than tuning in if we tried it. There's no way to have tweets feed in reply to a single post automagically on Facebook either (that I am aware of), which would allow it all to be kept tidy.
  3. I don't buy the "league is weaker" argument. Surely the whole point of a league system is that the weakest team/s are removed each season....even more so last season where one of the teams going down failed to prove they were better than those who replaced them in the play-off.
  4. Lewis Horner can play right back (did at Birmingham), so you can tick that box.
  5. Billy Mckay to start the season with a hat-trick tomorrow.
  6. Acceptable for me is seeing the lads going out and giving 100% every week.....and it's been a long time since we failed in that regard. Do that and, other than the odd dodgy decision by the ref, we'll get our just rewards. Can't ask for more than that, IMO.
  7. Game has been re-instated to the Saturday with 12:30pm kick-off.
  8. I had someone say to me last weekend "you used to be one of us*". On further thought/discussion, it transpired that the assertion seems to be that because I had become more directly involved in volunteering and doing stuff at the club, then I should no longer be considered a fan with the right to a valid opinion on CTO (or elsewhere). There's even people who are going around suggesting that as a club employee (which I am not) then they should gag me and prevent me from posting on here. It's not the first time I've seen this view, when I was an active admin/moderator on the forums I often had the validity of my personal opinion called into question (as others have and still are). Am I less critical of the club on here these days? Yes, absolutely. Firstly because I think there's a lot less to be critical of, and secondly because I make good use of the fact that the Chairman is open to talking to anyone about their concerns or issues...something anyone can do if they take the time to get in touch. I decide what I post or don't post on here. The club have no "hold" over me (and anyone who thinks I would work like that should read THIS), but I appreciate that in order to do what I do (primarily for the benefit of the fans and club) then I need to have a professional, honest and trustful relationship with the chairman, manager, players, staff etc. That works both ways and I got involved with eyes wide open to the potential pitfalls. It's the reason I stepped back from front-line operations on CTO as I didn't want the sites impartiality to be called into question...and also because I felt I could achieve more by putting my time from here into other things. * I don't believe for one second that the comment was made with any malice or intent, but it wasn't a pleasant accusation.

You missed the bit where he says "That's playing down our chances, we'll let everyone else tell everyone what they're going to do."
  10. What if Mckay gets injured? What if we ever need to chase the game and get another man up-front? What about having a two man attack Plan B? Or are we just going to carry on playing one way regardless of whether it works or not? Of the existing first team squad; Christie, Vincent, Doran, Foran (hopefully not out much longer) & Watkins are all...IMO...capable of doing a job at the front should the need arise. With the possible exception of Vincent, I think the rest have all been deployed as a forward at some point under both Butcher and Yogi. You also have young Fergie chapping at the door. I'm not saying it's the ideal scenario, but if people are talking about Mckay being worth 6 or 7 figures, then you have to appreciate that finding experienced/comparable cover would cost something up to that amount....and then there's the wage to pay on top of that. We quite simply don't have that kind of cash laying around. If people aren't content with the cover we have at present, then I don't see them being content with anything additional we could afford to bring in.
  11. I believe it's MFR2 which is 1107am and online...UK only. I haven't seen the details of the rights/agreement yet, but don't imagine they would have shelled out for worldwide rights. Bauer (who owns MFR) are doing "away" coverage for all games on their local stations...i.e. Northsound will do Aberdeen away games, Tay FM will do Dundee clubs away games etc. This means that fans should be able to pick up our home games online from the local Bauer station of whoever we are playing. The only drawback is, they are likely to be biased towards the target (away) audience.
  12. You just described Ryan Christie. So John Hughes is doing his transfer business right then? He hasn't had to do any transfer business to get right or wrong. I take faith from the fact that a good number of players have signed extensions since he arrived (and I suspect more will) and if/when we have need to replace players then he can be judged on how that goes. Our squad is small, but it's fairly versatile. There's good argument for a second experienced striker, but can we afford to have that and either them or Billy passing time sitting on the bench? If we could, then I imagine we'd have brought someone in already.
  13. You just described Ryan Christie.
  14. It's through MFR and it's only away games (at present).
  15. The SPFL are allowing games where the travelling is beyond a certain distance (230 miles return) to be played at an earlier time....which means most of ours will probably be 2pm. The specific nature of the distance seems a little suspicious as it forces us to play games against Aberdeen & St Johnstone in the evening...but C*unty are just (by 2 miles) outside the need to play any in the evening.
  16. All the great work being done by some people on here to big up the club and encourage more people through the gate will go a long way towards ensuring Yogi has the funds to bring in another international class striker. *insert sarcasm smiley here*
  17. We caught up with the Shinnie brothers for a quick chat after the game....Graeme won the biggest watch competition!!!
  18. Celtic ICT Aberdeen Dundee Utd St Johnstone Motherwell Those 6 teams will be clear top 6 by February. The rest will battle it out till the end to avoid relegation/ play offs and they could finish in any order.
  19. Unlike others, I'm not going to write off the team or our prospects for the season ahead before a ball has even been kicked in the league. I still have faith in what Yogi is doing and the players ability to execute it. Yesterdays game was a worthwhile and important exercise...both in terms of identifying where we have stuff nailed down and where we still need to do a bit of work. The important thing is what players and coaches do with the information gleened. I Believe.
  20. It was a psychological test...throw out a nondescript statement and see which people latch on to it, thinking it's about them.
  21. I believe the SPFL are still insisting on evenings for these games, but I'll get that confirmed.
  22. The same few people every time.
  23. Just had confirmation from Birmingham that there will be pay at the turnstile facilities for this game.
  24. It recommended Rugby, Hockey and Netball....thankfully no mention of gymnastics
