  1. The money goes to the Community Development Charity....not the club : http://ictfc.com/carboots
  2. It was actually confirmed on the official website 2 days ago : http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/1306-2014-15-pre-season-friendlies
  3. Back of Shirt sponsor revealed : http://bit.ly/1xNr5Y6
  4. He has a very capable deputy these days....succession is in place.
  5. In terms of man hours, synthetic pitches need just as much maintenance as real pitches, especially if being used more often....they even have to be watered. In that regard, ground staff are very much a necessity, so jobs would be safe.
  6. Aside from being told his budget, TB pretty much ran the show on the footballing side of things when with us. From listening to Leeann Dempster, that's not going to be the case at Hibs....and I'm not sure TB will like or accept that. It makes you wonder why Petrie has appointed two people who may well have very differing views on how things should operate. It's either a very clever move to force TB to make the decision to move on without being directly sacked....or another Petrie screw up.
  7. Just waiting on the new strip arriving from Italy to allow us to do the unveil....no additional hold-up with that due to to the new back of shirt sponsor as far as I am aware. Given the history with that, I'm not going to hazard a guess on time-scale though..!
  8. The draw's not been done yet.
  9. Go on, furnish us with a list of the things where we're lagging behind RC.....I'd far rather pull apart those points one by one than make a general "you're talking out your hat" comment. How very pompous you are, obviously some sort of authority on everything that is happening with the club. Anyway how about a four sided all seated ground for starters, last time i looked we had only three, go on 'pull that statement apart'. I'm hoping you've not played your strongest card first because you don't have to be an authority on much to know that we do have 4 stands.
  10. Bankrupt and scrabbling back from the lower echelons of Scottish Football?
  11. ICT don't charge for the school visits....they are also extending the programme to cover approx 180 schools over the next 12 months. To add a bit of context to that.....Scotland has a total of just over 2000 primary schools. Not only will we be covering the largest geographic region, I believe they will be visiting more schools than ANY other club in the UK.
  12. Ross County accounts for year ending June 2013 (most recent available) show that they lost around £3 Million for season 2012/13....and increased the clubs debts as a result. Don't believe everything (anything) you read in the press. Ross County are far from "living within their means" and Roy MacGregor is not paying for everything.....they are racking up debt hand over fist and it is only sustainable so long as they have someone who's willing to put their name against it. He could walk away tomorrow and leave the club with massive debts and little or no means by which to pay them. Look at Gretna, Livingston (twice), Hearts, Rangers, Dundee (twice), Dunfermline, Clydebank, Morton, Airdrie....all clubs who paid the price for putting blind faith in Owners/Chairman who all tried to gain/maintain success doing the exact same thing. I have zero desire to see ICTFC operating in a manner akin to anything that Ross County are doing.
  13. Go on, furnish us with a list of the things where we're lagging behind RC.....I'd far rather pull apart those points one by one than make a general "you're talking out your hat" comment.
  14. The Webster Ruling is a total red herring...... For a start, the player needs to have "just cause" for breaking the contract...not seen any evidence that such a thing exists. Secondly, the player needs to terminate his contract within 15 days of the clubs final game of the season....and we're beyond that point In short....none of the criteria required to effect the "Webster Ruling" exist.
  15. When people post that nonsense, just refer them to this article.... http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/1297-no-for-sale-signs
  16. Noticed with both St Mirren & Ross County that they have the big Cabrini logo on the sleeves....pretty sure they'll not be on the match worn shirts as they breech the current guidelines in terms of amount of advertising space that can be used and the logo is bigger than the SPFL badge, which is also a no no.
  17. I explained a while back, something to do with Yogi being the reason everything is going to shit and all the fans wont renew tickets because of it apparently. My point was fans across the league are going to less games because the standard is dwindling, there is nothing real to play for in the top flight asides from a short Europa league qualifying run embarrassment, and ticket prices are too high to reflect this. All quite simple really. With the spilt and resulting imbalance in fixtures directly impacting on attendances then it's near impossible to compare one season with the next.....you probably need to take a 4 or 5 year average/trend to get a true picture. If we get the "due" fixtures next season then I'll happily wager that our average attendance will be up by 500 or more on this seasons.
  18. It's how I am known in real life to lots of people....so whilst it's an alias, it's not one which I hide behind or use to mask my real identity.
  19. Why would the club make an announcement on a player leaving when they are still under contract?
  20. Not much point in me trying to tell you that I think we actually have a fairly decent product in Scottish Football then?
  21. Taking £2 off a ticket doesn't sound much, but it would have reduced the clubs income by somewhere in the region of £130,000 over the season. All rough figures, but to cover that cost, you need to sell between 7500 & 11000 extra tickets over the season (depending on whether it's concession or full price). Which is the equivalent of increasing the average attendance by between 400 & 600. If free tickets aren't adding that many to the gate for a game, then a £2 discount certainly isn't going to do it. Maybe the question is....why aren't season ticket holders making better use of the "bring a friend for free" or "bring a friend for a fiver" type offers? Well, the truth is, they are....but (for the most part) instead of using the offer to bring along someone new, they're using them to get cheap entry for someone who already attends games but isn't a season ticket holder. Is it naive of the club to think that people who intended to attend the game anyway will pay full price when they can get a free/cheap ticket from a season ticket holding friend? Yes, probably. Is it too much to expect (more) season ticket holders to make use of these offers in the manner they are intended by bringing along someone new, someone who perhaps wasn't going to the game anyway...or, even treating someone who can't afford it and may never make any games otherwise? Since these offers have no significant positive impact on attendances and the offers are being taken up, then it would seem it is! So, whilst it's easy to point the finger at the club and say "you should be doing more" (and no doubt there's things they can/will), you have to look to the fans in equal measure and realise/accept that we also have a large part to play....if not directly, then at the very least by not partaking in activities which only serve to negate the efforts of the club.
  22. For everything else there's..... (Feel free to pilfer and reuse)
  23. With Motherwell losing £800,000 in the 2(?) seasons before last and last seasons losses rumoured to be in the region of £250,000 to £300,000 (and begging bowls out already)....I get the feeling that Hibs may, financially at least, be the better option in the short term.

Yeah, as indicated in the tweet on the above link...if your season ticket arrived in the post (or you already collected it) and didn't get your vouchers then you can collect them from the Ticket Office next time you're down at the stadium.
  25. You obviously missed the part of the article on the club website where it states that it's the Subway brand in Scotland that is the sponsor and not a local franchisee. If you have any concerns or questions in regards to what the deal is worth and whether or not it matches up to the previous deal then you should call the club and ask for a meeting with the Chairman.....or you can continue to be a spineless coward who prefers to hide behind an alias having a pop at supporters, sponsors, the club and it's staff.
