  1. You obviously missed the part of the article on the club website where it states that it's the Subway brand in Scotland that is the sponsor and not a local franchisee. If you have any concerns or questions in regards to what the deal is worth and whether or not it matches up to the previous deal then you should call the club and ask for a meeting with the Chairman.....or you can continue to be a spineless coward who prefers to hide behind an alias having a pop at supporters, sponsors, the club and it's staff.
  2. Had it not been for the new sponsor then I suspect we'd probably already have had them (or they would be imminent). I don't know this 100%, but I believe that the sponsor is printed along with the shirt design as a single process as opposed to being stuck on afterwards which would mean that shirts could not be done in advance. In regards to being outdone by other clubs....only really a valid argument if we were competing with each other for business, but I don't imagine too many ICT fans have decided to buy a St Mirren or Motherwell top just because they launched before ours. It's understandable that the people are anxious to see/buy the new strip and seeing other clubs release theirs adds to the frustration in regards to "if they can do it, why can't we", but it's been that way for as long as we've been with Errea (15th season coming up?) and you have to imagine that the clubs deal with them means the benefits must outweigh the wait or we'd have changed supplier long time ago. Some previous kit launch dates (as close as I can ascertain) have been as follows....note these are launch dates and not on sale dates, although they may have been the same. 13/14 (Away) - 10th June 12/13 (Home) - 17th July 11/12 (Away) - 24th June 10/11 (Home) - 1st August (first year with Orion) 09/10 (Away) - 14th July 08/09 (Home) - 17th June 07/08 (Away) - 4th July (first year with Flybe) ......we're still in May!
  3. In my experience, those who do the most shouting tend not to be the type to buy/wear football shirts.
  4. It will be available to buy as soon as possible....do you think the club are sitting with thousands of shirts at the stadium and not selling them just for shits and giggles?
  5. Bump...
  6. FFS people....who gives a flying F about what crowds other clubs are getting. It's our crowds that are important (home fans especially). If we took all the time and effort people waste on pointless cock measuring competitions between us and other clubs and put it into encouraging more people along to home games then we might just stand a chance of actually doing something constructive and worthwhile.
  7. Why not? Just curious. Seeing us play down the Bught would be brilliant i think. I've just never liked the way they've gone about their business and have no inclination to partake in anything that supports or promotes them in any way, shape or form.
  8. enable
  9. We seem to be entering the age of the scouser instead
  10. That's only a problem for those who's nose is too near their arse!
  11. Fans were asked to submit ideas months ago and the new shirt design has long since been chosen.
  12. I think my brother will quite like being called a 'lad' ...he's 61 Oh and for the sake of accuracy apparently it was Wednesday not Tuesday he was there! It was Wednesday as he was just leaving when I arrived....any other day and he might have had to put up with my showing him around instead of the Chairman...or, god forbid, both of us
  13. I wouldn't bother getting out of bed for an Inverness City game....even if they were playing us. Far rather see us playing one of the welfare teams.
  14. The second half of the season results have been/were the norm under TB....and it is exactly that area where I believe we can kick on next season under Yogi's stewardship.
  15. There's only one "big" club in the SPFL these days. Resources among the rest will (should) dictate that some will rise more often than others, but the gap is not such that it prevents any/all participants in the top league from reaching what is currently considered "punching above their weight" from time to time. The danger comes from over reaching...especially after a couple of good seasons...and breaking the "living within your means" barrier to try and push on/buy more success.
  16. Here's a wee secret for you fella....CTO and the rest of the world does not revolve around you. Once you learn that, get rid of the ME ME ME ME attitude and drop the paranoia then I imagine life will become a whole lot easier for you....and us.
  17. Charles, a collection in the street or outside the cinema etc is classed as a "public" collection and charities need to obtain a license. A small number of charities do hold exemptions, but have to operate within pre-agreed parameters. Collections held at TCS are considered "private" collections as they are on the business owners land and only require their permission. As a result, I imagine collections at TCS are more popular purely on the basis of ease and less red tape....and the club being a bit more of a soft touch in terms of not saying no compared to somewhere like the Eastgate Centre which is a location which would also fall under the Private Collection banner. Probably worth noting that collections at TCS bring in a fraction of what they once did. Whilst I don't have any exact figures I recall days when groups would report collecting 10 times what they do now.
  18. Not yet. Things were obviously held up a bit with us having to do a deal with the new sponsor. Maybe I could do another series of teaser images to keep people entertained in the meantime?
  19. I'm pretty much on the same page as Scotty. It's one thing to make these rulings, but quite another to have them enforced effectively. If the "worst" were to happen and they tried to enforce removal of content from EU located servers, then all those impacted would simply move hosting overseas...in effect, driving business from their own shores. Use of VPN's and Proxies to make those servers think you are browsing from elsewhere would be a simple workaround for those seeking the information. After all...if one person has the right to be forgotten or anonymous, does that same right not extend to those seeking the information?! The internet is no longer cellular and hasn't been for a long time. Governments can't simply turn on or off residents access to the bits they do or don't want them to see....ask China, it's something they've spent billions upon billions trying to do for years and even they've started to give up on that fight. It's one of those rulings that will become caught up in appeal after appeal while never coming in to force, serving only to provide a living for the lawyers arguing both sides of the case before the world moves on beyond the argument and it becomes irrelevant and forgotten.

It would probably be more accurate to ask..."Why have we forgotten these ideals". I'm not religious by any stretch of the imagination, but all ancient civilisations had some form of ritual/blessing surrounding the slaughter of meat for consumption...be that farmed or hunted.
  21. Aside from the irony in admitting you don't follow the worlds most popular and powerful news/communications outlets* and then claiming the club are the ones who need to "Keep Up"....it's not as straight forward as you paint it. Players are generally under contract with clubs until the end of May, so whilst discussions may have taken place the clubs hands are tied in terms of making any official statement until such time as they expire or release forms have been completed. Whilst some players may have gone public and/or spoken to people (press or otherwise) about what is happening, it would be extremely unprofessional of the club to jump the gun before all necessary paperwork etc has been completed....if for no other reason than it leaves the door open for people to change minds (which happens occasionally). *The club Facebook has over 5000 followers and their Twitter has over 7300....the average reach of these accounts (people who see messages posted via them) is in the region of 2.4 million people a week. That's far in excess of any other outlet (even newspapers, radio & TV), so if you want to get news out to as many as possible, as quickly as possible, then that's where it's going to happen.
  22. No he didn't....still with the club for another season. Those who have been released are mentioned at the end of this article : http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/1292-eightsome-reel
  23. His goal against the manky mob from over the bridge is a contender for the April SPFL Goal of the Month....GET VOTING!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZfU3eT_x-4
  24. I expect the same this coming season as I have done for every other.... The players to go out, give it their all and perform to the best of their ability while delivering entertaining football. Do that and things like league position and cup progress will take care of itself.
  25. Nom Nom Nom P.S. That's a 6 Footer
