  1. Genuine question. Other than cost cutting and reducing the football budget what action is the board taking to attract major investment which would improve our financial stability in order to assist our team to gain promotion and compete in the top division?
  2. i don't see a need to celebrate our 25th because there are more urgent financial needs. i would agree with Kingsmills. if there is money burning a hole in our pockets spend it on fans facilities and to retain the players Robbo wants to keep and make our experience better value for money. if we are financially stable maybe celebrate our 50th.
  3. all he ever really had was pace which covered a lot of his cracks. personally i couldn't believe Aberdire signing him.
  4. 3 points top o the league and 3 goals ............... happy as larry?
  5. squeeky bum 2nd half but hey..... I'll take a 3-2 win any day of the week - even if it was PATRICK?
  6. let's not get too confident. chuffed to bits if we win but would take a point.
  7. We will do very well to win this one so here's keeping fingers crossed we continue our good form.
  8. is Gabriel Hastings not one of Richards brothers boys?
  9. think it must be an age thing.........
  10. not really my point but i do stand corrected.
  11. grant street is a good shout. every chance of a full house
  12. I see Dyce Juniors are receiving considerable compensation from the sale of Stuart Armstrong. I believe he was also in our youth set up before he went to Dundee Utd so I wonder if we qualify for some dosh?
  13. sad indeed but ?????to a Caley great.
  14. I really don't think you can compare Rangers with Celtic financially. Rangers only survive because of huge home crowds and individual investors and it's not that long ago that they were in liquidation. More to the point, the English leagues do not want them any here near them and I don't think you would find Rangers in their prem league.

in days gone by the club did have a ladies team but did not finance it and it was run totally from the outside. personally I think we shoukd get this club in order financially and administratively before thinking about an add on such as this.

I agree that enough bums on seats to provide sufficient money to 100% fund the football operation would be the ideal answer to the problem. However, we have never been in this position since inception. For whatever reason we have never attracted sufficient numbers and we have never found the answer to this problem.
  17. good update. who holds the 10% voting rights?

I really do see where you are coming from Sheepslagger but our club needs a board which can secure and improve our financial stability which enables us to compete in the top league. We have NEVER had a board able to achieve this. I don't doubt the members of our board are supporters but we really need more than that. I know many wouldn't agree but I really feel we are in need of a "Roy MacGregor" who is a massive supporter and is prepared to put his money where his mouth is.
  19. the bypass already links to the a9 via glenurquhart rd, milton of leys and drumossie.

a really good result against the Pars yesterday but the blazers will believe that it's their policies that achieved it.
  21. Cammy picked up an injury so lost his No2 place. He is better playing than watching and warming up before matches. Personally i feel the boy will either come back as No2 keeper or he will off.
  22. if we are going to "throw in some youngsters" and play the squad on that basis we will all need to be very patient. Another couple of years in championship maybe! By that time maybe the club will be run by people who can attract the investment needed to be a top league club.
  23. It will be interesting to see what, if any, changes Robbo makes to our set up and personnel. Here's hoping for a positive reaction to our draw last week.
  24. what's gone has gone so no point in going over and over our performance. what does matter is Robbo's reaction, the changes he makes and how we perform in our next game. Here's hoping.

He's the best keeper in our league.
