  1. It really has been some achievement by this laddie from Inverschneck. Current WR 99, Mark Warren 161, Peter Whiteford 522, Richie Ramsay 166, Alastair Forsyth 1135, Stephen Gallacher 37, Paul Lawrie 209, Martin Laird 156. Unless I'm completely wrong, he is currently No2 Scot in world .
  2. Russell going well in Scottish Open. -4 after 17. Early days yet but he is top Scot at moment and inside top world 100. If he has a good week maybe a wee chance to qualify for British Open.
  3. Have we re-signed Andrew? Mike Andrew?
  4. What worries me most is how far we need to develop our game to qualify for either Europe or World Cup finals. Some of the speed and quality in the matches so far has been awesome. I'm sure we will improve under Strach but do we have the players?
  5. Crazy how long we take to release new replica strips I would have thought like season tickets the priority would be to get as many as possible sold ASAP so the money is in the bank and could be made available to Yogi for squad additions or ground improvements Regardless whether it's the clubs fault or the supplier it's time for better communication between the two in future Dougal Typical reply to a very valid point
  6. I'm sure they are absolutely gutted by this news. And so they should be
  7. That really would be icing on the cake
  8. He finished 24th at Congressional last week-end, 3 over par. Final score spoiled by 3rd round 78. Winnings so far this season at $1.3million. Well done that loon from Culloden Academy!
  9. If they play in red and black, I won't be going near them until they change their colours
  10. Not hurting me pal - whoever you are!
  11. Oh, so you are lowering yourself to personal insults then. I won't waste much time replying to one who holds himself in such high esteem but referring to anyone as a "spineless coward" probably shows what type of individual you really are.
  12. If Hibs were wise they would have included a "relegation clause" in the Butcher, Malpas and "Massalla" contracts. This being the case, I think thier time has come to look for alternative employment. The Caley Curse strikes again!
  13. I don't think we could afford any of them but I do like the boy Stanton.
  14. It would be nice to think so Alex but THEY have decided not to renew. To get high value shirt sponsors you need a professional commercial / marketing department - something we just do NOT have. You were saying? Sorry Caley D I should have posted a reply much sooner but I don't normally waste time on Rumour forum. Yes I was saying that we are not a big attraction and we didn't have a professional commercial dept and I stand by my comments! If you consider yourself that well informed, maybe you can disclose how much Orion paid and how much Subway are paying? It's all about the money - not the name. Don't kid yourself, if the franchisee wasn't local and a fan, they wouldn't have touched us with yours.
  15. Considering the price to watch football in Holland and Germany are we to assume that players earn much less than those in Scotland? I doubt it somehow.
  16. Yes I think he can and I hope he gets the support to do so.
  17. Away kit didn't launch until the start of June last year so it will probably be the same timescale this year. No wonder, would you have been in a rush to introduce such a crap design?
  18. It will be available to buy as soon as possible....do you think the club are sitting with thousands of shirts at the stadium and not selling them just for shits and giggles? Typical reply from you CaleyD - It would be pretty stupid if they were sitting with thousands of shirts and not selling them but it wouldn't surprise me for one minute!
  19. What in earth is the problem? Why has the new shirt not been launched? If it's what the fans want we want to buy it ASAP!
  20. Maybe the club should be asking what encourages people to buy and when they are given the reasons they could build something which satisfies the buyer. I'm sure many of you can come up with other (better) pointers but here goes for a start: The product - do you need it? does it satisfy a need? is it of good quality? The price - is it within your budget? is the product worth the price? The Supplier - can they provide the product at the price you want to pay? are they solvent so that they can meet their obligations? do they appreciate your business? It would be interesting to hear what others feel.
  21. Why not? Just curious. Seeing us play down the Bught would be brilliant i think. I've just never liked the way they've gone about their business and have no inclination to partake in anything that supports or promotes them in any way, shape or form. Did they upset you in a past life Don?
  22. Good signing. Money well spent.
  23. I was very sad to hear of Ian's passing. Maimie was so right in what she says and without his substantial investment in the early life of this club it just would not be here today. The internal politics during the "takeover" really upset Ian and he eventually withdrew his support of the club. Ian loved the idea of a unified football club in Inverness and he put his money where his mouth was. He was a solid supporter in the early years but latterly favoured Ross County, where, in his own words, "he felt wanted". A good man. Thanks for everything you did for us Ian.
