  1. A couple of good coaches and a decent scouting network would be money well spent. Assistant manager is just a title probably attracting more money. Duncan could be the "Offensive Coach" in addition to his U21 role and we could get a "Defensive and Fitness Coach" alongside.
  2. Remember him well. Big beast of a winger. Not sure if they are related tho.
  3. Please don't go anywhere near the Heathmount for advice Yogi!
  4. Well you can sit on yer hands and suck a lolly if you want - no problem!
  5. How about a real BIG " There's Only One Yogi Hughes" from the Main and North Stand at the next home game. Let's make the man feel wanted and show him real Highland hospitality!
  6. Good positive interviews with all 3. There is a big danger of me getting quite excited now. I was also quite impressed with KC's interview considering his sporting pedigree is shinty and not footie - he came across well. Seems his heart is in the right place so I just hope "The Builder" leaves him in peace to do what seems to be a good job Good luck to Yogi - I hope you prove the doubters wrong! C'mon the Caley
  7. Poor Yogi - I wonder if all those brave, mouthy critics (who probably haven't a Scooby what they are talking about) would slag him to his face! I don't think so . I think his success will depend on how strong his coaching and fitness team will be.
  8. Good idea as long as Caley D doesn't use the main system as it is still effing awful
  9. Most of what you say seems spot on IHE but GB is a pal of both JR and AS
  10. I have mentioned this before. Butcher and Malpas stated that facilities were high on the decision list on going to Hibs (I don't think for one minute that money wasn't high on the lsit as well). Surely this must be a priority for our board to set up a joint forum with the council to develop part of the Bught or Culloden. Inverness city, a club that brings absolutely no commercial benefit to the "Town" managed to negotiate their own little patch so why couldn't we do something similar? Please don't bring up the old excuse "we have no money". There are grants and assistance out here so let's be proactive on this one and it will hopefully be beneficial in attracting new players and retaining the ones we want to keep. Alan Savage seemingly wants in so let's do everything to get him in!
  11. I'm warming to Shiels, his experience and all round work ethic could work well in our small community. Hartley is an up and coming young manager who would be away at the first call from a bigger club and lets face it, there are probably 10 bigger clubs considering facilities etc.
  12. Kenny Shiels for me. I don't know but maybe that's part of the reason Mr Foran signed new deal
  13. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but at the end of the day this is FOOTBALL which is driven 99.99% by money - which we do not have!
  14. PLEASE DONT GO TERRY, MO & STEVE - WE NEED YOU!!!!!!
  15. If Terry and his team go I think we will suffer immensely. Time for the board to come out and publicly tell him "THIS CLUB NEEDS YOU",restructure the internals and get Mr Orion on board with some serious money to invest. Invest in a training facility, maybe Culloden pitches which has a building ripe for refurb and lease the pitches from the council. This may show TB that we are serious about being a Prem League Club - not just a Prem league team. This is a chance we should grab with both hands!
  16. Give young Christie a shout - he has it and he has been waiting to show what he's got!
  17. Not exactly byes -- the format allows that they dont actually enter the comp till fourth round. Byes by any other name!
  18. A bad result indeed but not the end of the world. The next result will tell us if we are one of the top sides or not. Anyway, what should we expect from the budget our manager is given? Top 3, top 6, top 9 or just survival?
  19. Maybe
  20. Isn't the Dalneigh boy doing well. They reckon he is well on his way to a title fight. Remember him playing for Dalneigh in the Soccer Sevens League and he was a big lad even then! Good luck.
  21. Russell was also a talented footballer who was with ICT from age 12 to 16. He gave it up to concentrate on his golf - Wise boy when you see the money he is making!
  22. No. Just thought someone from the club would have posted a comment for all to see.
  23. Did we have a tie last week-end? If so does anyone have the score?
  24. No official response from the club yet?
