  1. Aye that'll be right, so you're a psychologist now. You'll never cease to amaze.
  2. And by the same token, its the same people that defend the club no matter what. Only if there is good reason to Gordie and in this case there is.......again As far as I'm concerned there was no attack made, only stated a fact so please tell me why the need to defend?
  3. .... and the same few people don't lick erses.....
  4. Point taken but as the article says, Oldham have signed a 7 figure deal with them so I think the wait will be worthwhile. I doubt if we are anywhere near 7 figures (including pennies)since we started dealing with Errea! I dont think there's any comparison. Oldhams deal with Sports Direct also includes the naming of their stadium and setting up of a shop within the stadium. The article doesn't say what the figure is nor the length of the deal. So why compare it?
  5. I've said it before, if we get a good offer for Shinnie I would let him go. Tremarco is a better defender but nowhere near as good going forward.
  6. This boy shouldn't have a weight problem. He should have enough incentive to be at his optimum fitness at all times without the need for any encouragement! If he can't commit to his overall level of weight control and fitness I would bin him!
  7. Was speaking to 2 guys from Brechin the other week, Ray McKinnon and somebody else. It seems Rory hasn't changed much! I really don't think Rory's attitude will ever change so I doubt very very much if he will ever play at a higher level. Good part-time striker tho.

  9. Thankfully the sponsors logo kind of hides the idiotic blue dots which seem to splatter the centre stripe
  10. On second thoughts, an away strip in the same style replacing the blue with black and a solid red stripe would look pretty good.
  11. It looks fine, the logo doesn't look out of place but not enough stripes for me . OK, I'm an old Caley man so I like blue but I think it's now time to have a bold red and black stripe shirt, black shorts and black socks as our away strip.
  12. OK Alex, our fault entirely if we didn't know the sponsors but that's not paramount to the shirt design. So what's wrong with taking advance orders, at least the fans know what they are ordering and the club get the cash up front!
  13. Apart from suggesting that you familiarise yourself in more detail with the principles of conflict of interest, I am not going to burden this thread any more with what has become a private difference of opinion similar to our earlier one about the ICT Trust and related matters which, since your Damascene conversion, you now seem to make it your life's mission to defend to the death. Well said Charles. I didn't realise this guy had any "official" standing within the club but having already branded me a "spineless coward" I think maybe the club should be more selective in their appointments.
  14. We seem to be laying the problem with Errea. Maybe, just maybe it could have something to do with our club. We must have known months ago what design we chose so why not get the "pilot kit" and invite advance orders? Other clubs do it so why don't we?
  15. Are we the last club in the SPFL to launch our 2014-2015 kit?
  16. Good point Kingsmills. Unfortunately on the face of it, they seem to have a bigger "football" budget than we have. I wish we had a "sugar daddy".
  17. This is most relevant because of external funding issues Alex
  18. What we need is someone to put serious pressure on Billy but unfortunately experience doesn't come cheap.
  19. Most managers contracts are for a fixed term or rolling one year. If he is sacked before the end of his contract term, without an agreed termination clause, his employer is normally only obliged to meet their contractual payments to him as and when they are due. This being the case, a lump sum payment (vastly less than the total sum of the contract remaining)would be negotiated between the parties. It is very unlikely that any club would pay up a contract to the original end date. The fact he was sacked by people who didn't agree his contract is totally irrelevant as the business (club) has the liability .
  20. Oh well, if you say so Alex it must be right!
  21. I hope the the "eat fresh" bit of the logo isn't on our "new" shirts
  22. I very much doubt these ladies would be the type that enjoyed tea and cakes more like pints of lager and kebabs but you are right it's another way that new fans could be encouraged through the gates even if was only a few games per season Dougal No dougal. Strictly G&T or spritzers. They were formed about three years ago and chose a name that didn't clash with Accies. Since there inception they have been doing really well and could become a top league team soon. You should go and watch a girls game sometime dougal. Might teach you something about the game and how not to be a sexist arse. Oh come on Alex, talk about opening your erse and letting your mouth rumble! How is this sexist?
  23. These matches are arranged to give players game time so I don't think people should read too much into the results aspect. Having watched endless world cup games, you can see where Yogi is coming from regarding ball retention but we are presently lacking the quality final ball into scoring areas. We will no doubt have to wait and see if we are capable of making this happen but the longer we go without creating scoring chances the more difficult it is going to get.
  24. I don't think it was a case that he didn't come to Castle Stuart Sneckboy it was more a case that he didn't get an invitation. A pity, I agree.
