  1. Wow, some people on here really must hate poor John. Murderers Rapists Armed Robbers etc don't even get the comments this poor guy gets. Maybe those who don't like it should GTF and find another team to support - one which has some plonker of a manager who will keep them happy.
  2. I just love fisheen - and comedians.
  3. Well said Bughtmaster - I agree with everything you said. GIVE YOGI OUR SUPPORT
  4. We are still in the top tier of Scottish Football We continue to punch above our weight and budget We have 3 home grown players in our squad, Ross, Polworth & Christie We have a down to earth manager who comes without any apparent baggage It seems to me that we have an extraordinary set of players who do not have the usual footballer swagger. We do all this WITHOUT any bludy money to improve the football side of this business BRILLIANT performance from the FOOTBALL department but unfortunately we are absolutely crap commercially! :clapoverhead: :clapoverhead:
  5. I see he has accepted an invitation to play in this years Scottish Open in Aberdeen. Hope he wins it.
  6. Maybe Iain but you don't pick the team
  7. Sadly just not good enough for first team football.
  8. Jagster #61 I can only laugh! Maybe Thistle should have gone on their own - but as they were nearly bust it would have been in the North Juniors. Be happy that you had the Caley to fall back on.
  9. Very nice but BLUE with RED stripes and black trim on neck and sleeves
  10. Come on folks, lets be realistic. If Pepper was good enough he would be playing in the first team and it certainly doesn't look as if that will happen. The club can't afford to keep players who have no chance of making it and he should look after his own future and maybe see what else is out there. Hard business but there have been many young players who did not achieve their potential and sentiment was not considered.
  11. If you watch U20 games you would be saying the complete opposite. When Conor started with us he was pretty much a winger/striker, scored a late equaliser vs Hearts and scored a peach vs Hibernian. Admittedly he hasn't really been given much of a chance since. I have taken a fair bit of time watching u20s home games and this season Conor has been playing at right back. The word for me that sums him up is 'versatility'. His performances at right back have been really good and he has the pace to go forward but also the pace to come back to defend. Right back was a position I was worried about due to the lack of cover but the reality is now we have Conor Pepper and Graeme Shinnie that can fill in at right back, so that in itself should hopefully warrant Conor Pepper a new Sorry, but he has taken too long to break through to FIRST team level so management must have doubts about him. If we are talking U20 football, he is probably far too expensive and the CLUB will get better value with younger prospects.

  16. I really don't see the wisdom in offering Pepper a new deal as I don't see what he brings to the team.
  17. Any permutation you want as long as Christie starts!
  18. Personally couldn't give Flying Fart about CJT or the people that make it a big part of their lives! - What the hell has this got to do with Yogi? About time this nonsense was closed down!
