  1. It will be over on Sunday, from there on the heavyweights of the World will battle it out and the proper World Cup games we expect will grace us.
  2. Isner has looked like he's been about to die for the past 2 hours. Just when you think one has the upper hand, theother serves an ace. Amazing.
  3. Crouch seems to get a lot of stick and he can look like a daft lanky bugger at times, but he is very fecking good at what he does.
  4. Yea, I agree with this. Fresh start and all that supposing he impresses on a trial.
  5. I've had a disasterous start so far, I've cursed far too many teams with my bets. Only bet I won was Chile to beat Hondurous by the one goal at decent odds. So stayed away from the second round fixtures so far....heres hoping it'll start to pick up slightly for me.
  6. "Bradley - with a small squad next season, we can't afford passengers. Taundry and Richards will, I suspect, be the main midfield. So if Bradley was still with us, what does he offer different to either of them? He can't get stuck in and show the energy of Taundry, he can't pass as well as Richards." "Glad to see Bradley go, hes had his chance." "Dissapoited to see Bradley leave, i thought he had potential, but he never showed it bar a period of a couple of months." "Shocked by Mattis, disappointed (more so about how his career with us has panned out) by Bradley but jubilant about Till!!!!" "Bradley really did look a fantastic prospect about 3 seasons ago but since taking that knock he was just never the same player." Doesn't sound too promising.....
  7. Might get lucky if it's moved to a Sunday lunch time kick off! Tough start, but I'm very confident we'll start on a high and keep above the water when the so called 'easier' games begin.
  8. Now thats a reason - lets pump them
  9. The best player in the world has been told this in the past.
  10. Is that not just another reason why our refs are ***** rather than us needing to beat Celtic?

    SPL

    When Raith beat Dundee.
  12. A lot of people say this, but to be fair if anything Gaidhlig is getting stronger as a language. As for the title, it's just ridiculous. If a road sign is capable of making you crash then I would hate to see you drive under any sort of pressure. If this is the case you really shouldn't be anywhere close to a car. I went through Gaidhlig medium in school, it may not be any use to me in a job in the future and I don't exactly speak it on a daily basis, or at all these days but it is something which distinguishes us from other countries and weather you like it or not a big part of Scottish heritage so I'm proud to be able to speak it.
  13. Not much else to say that hasn't already, such a shame and I just feel for his family. Big thumbs up to the folk that tried to help him though, 12 hours of it and returning in a state of exhaustion and with frostbtie suggests they'd have done all they could possibly have done. Obviously that will be no consolation to thef amily, very sad times. RIP.
  14. It says more about United fans than it does ours if he's relying on away fans so much.
  15. WHile he was exaggertating our away support, he does talk a lot of sense.

    Jonny Tuffey

Maybe if we signed him before his contract expires, but he will be a free agent on the first of next month.
  17. I want one...
  18. Same.
  19. To be fair, County haven't really shown up at any game since they played Celtic.
  20. County have really been woeful.
  21. Good, I love tangerines! And probably will do for a long time now.
  22. This has really brang County fans and the world back down to earth. They beat a combination of highland league teams, Stirling, a Hibs team who hadn't won and failed to win after this game for weeks and a good game against Celtic. Thats all. In reality they're just a bog standard first division team.
  23. Looking at the replays, you really can't think of what was going through McGovern's head at the time. Unless County go onto score, that will haunt him for the rest of his life.
  24. Can you explain how wanting a team closer to you, in a different league win against another team in the same league as you makes you any more/less of a fan? The commentators themselves commented on how unusual an event it is (alluding to fans of one team backing their local rivals) So your not answering my question then? If you cant see the hypocrisy in turning out to support your local rivals at a game...well...am not going to waste my time explaining! As i say...EVEN the commentators were stating how unusual it is! In other words you can't explain it. Some people, although they would claim we're rivals in a league game, want to see them do well. Like someone posted on here before, we've never really been competing for the same place and a lot of the time we've never been in the same league. Anyway this is going no where, lets just agree to disagree :D Looks like County are being exposed for what they are now. Been quite poor actually.
  25. YAAAAAAAAAS GOOD WILLIE! Had a few quid in him as top scorer aswell.
