I could see him signing a PCA in January with a team like Nottingham Forest, Doncaster or Melchester Rovers. He will finish out his Caley days by becoming the first ICT player to bag 25 goals in an SPL season, culminating in a Berbatov style five goal plunder against Celtic at Parkhead in May.

GREN BRIGAID - SPEL CHEK ULTRAZ

I thought Celtic looked poor yesterday - they seemed to lack strength through the spine and we had a lot of possession, more than you'd expect at Parkhead. Celtic obviously have some good attacking players but we managed to nullify them and dominated the midfield for periods. Russell Duncan looked very dominating and busy (when I could see him past the pillar ) and I also thought our full backs played pretty well. When it came to our attacking players, all showed good endeavor and, although I thought he wasn't at his best, Hayes had some success against Mulgrew. Foran is vital in games at the Old Firm and he looked reasonably lively and took his goal very well. Rooney was his usual self. Perhaps the most impressive player in our attacking quartet was Nick Ross, who looked composed in 'the hole' and probed Celtic dangerously. At the back we looked reasonably solid but again were caught out by McCourt. He certainly doesn't score tap-ins, the bar steward. Aside from that Tokely and Munro again looked solid with Esson making a couple of stops when required. The most notable thing about Celtic was the lack of confidence I thought they showed. They were 2-0 up at home against a mid-table SPL team but there was always a hint of vulnerability in them and few of the Celtic team looked comfortable on the ball - Majstorovic in particular looked very nervous. Our first goal came from a complete mess created by Majstorovic and Rogne and the second was from a corner that was conceded needlessly and then poorly marked. I suppose starting with three at the back perhaps threw their players and caused the confusion - have Celtic started like this before this season, or any time since the early days of Martin O'Neill? Special word to the utter dickhead Celtic stewards. What a bunch of complete arseholes.

Big Jock knew is a song that fans started singing to Celtic in reference to the sexual abuse scandal within Celtic Boys Club. Jim Torbett, a coach at Celtic Boys Club, sexually abused a number of young players during the 1960s and 70s. There have been allegations that Jock Stein and others within the Celtic heirarchy at the time were aware that this was going on and covered it up. There's no evidence for this, although according to Alan Brazil, who was molested by Torbett, the Kelly family who ran Celtic at the time were aware of the abuse and didn't take any action - Link Calling Celtic Park the Big Jock Knew-Camp is therefore a reference to this. A more accurate title would be the Kelly-Family-Knew Camp.

I thought the ICI Daily Record front page came about after the game against Stirling Albion at Brockville. Am I imagining things or did the players not have to get taken off the pitch at one point of that game due to the mayhem on the terraces?

I like the idea of getting Israeli ref's in. If anyone tries to issue a death-threat the IDF will bulldoze their house and if anyone retaliates then the East End of Glasgow will be occupied for Orthodox Jews to build settlements on it. I think this would be an improvement. Mazol tov!

Probably in the same way the beaks (brilliant tabloid word, btw) reacted to Derek Adams' rantings - by banning our managers for a long period. Imagine it though - the Irish Football Association decide to offer up refs for the SPL and ref for Parkhead is William Boyne, Shankill FA, with a King Billy tat on one arm and '1690' on his right hand knuckles. We win 3-0, two dodgy penalties and a Tokely goal where he punches Mastabatajovic in the face then carries the ball over the line. The ref high fives our players running off the pitch and joins them in throwing Terry Butcher in the bath at full time. Imagine the point-and-laugh potential of it, it would be impossible to have unpished breeks at the hordes of idiots turning purple with apoplexy in the home end. I am looking forward to it.

Aye, imagine some Welsh ref who was due to cover Total Network SOlutions v New Cefn Druids pitching up to Celtic Park? I don't think McDonald is some sort of blameless martyr but Celtic have really fvcked themselves on this. They apparently want an investigation by UEFA into refereeing in Scotland - there is no way that UEFA would take the side of any individual club over a member association, not in a million years.

Pele resigned after the then-Elgin chairman went back on a promised pay-rise after he won them their final highland League title in 1990. Good move from Elgin, as we all know that Pele subsequently built a great team at Huntly and was the best Highland manager for the next ten years. We also signed a few players who had Elgin connections when Pele was our boss - Mike Teasdale, Ian McArthur, Dave McGinlay all played for Elgin (I think).

Unsure about this. Dougie McDonald deliberately lied and covered up what he'd done - his position is untenable and he should resign. The pressure being put on referees from the likes of John Reid and Neil Lennon is unacceptable but the SFA can deal with that.
