Good luck to him, he was unfortunate last season as i think he was really just starting to show real promise before his injury. I particularly liked this line from that New Zealand newspaper article, "and has just been released by Scottish Premier League club Inverness Thistle".

I think we all know exactly how Rory would cope in the SPL, about as well as he did the last time and about as well as Barrowman did. Barrowman also scored a huge amount of goals in Div. 2 and was then found wanting in the SPL, he is struggling now as well at 1st Division level, the 2nd Division is not the place to look for premier league strikers.

It's a hypothetical question, some people should stop taking it so seriously. For the record i think we would miss Hayes more, that has nothing to do with the fact that Adam will probably be leaving us soon, i just think he brings more to the team. That's not to say Adam won't be missed, he is a great striker and will be a tremendous loss to us, i wish he was staying too but he isn't and i wish him well wherever he goes. I don't think anyone is "turning on" Adam Rooney, Hayes himself will probably be moving on to bigger and better things before too long as well, that's just the nature of the game and the team we all follow. 2:30pm Tuesday Jan 11th. Thanks Charles. Does anyone know why the draws are no longer held on the Saturday evening right after the games? I enjoyed nothing more than returning to the boozer after cup wins with all the excitement and anticipation of who we were to get in the next round.

Does any one know when the draw for the next round is? Hope it's a good trip somewhere.

I agree with the theory of trying to recreate the "away day" atmosphere around the team. I think this should be implemeted by forcing all fans to drink for around 4 hours before the game starts to help generate a better atmosphere at home games.

The guy is an absolute legend, let's just say he was a grafter. I seen him eating a pie and watching the scores in the bar at half time during the Hamilton game recently, i wanted to go and say something to him but i was overwhelmingly starstruck.

Does anyone here in the know have any idea what sort of team will be put out tomorrow night against Strathspey? Was planning on taking a trip through and would like to see some of the big guns playing.

I think it would be ridiculous to even consider spending any amount of money on a scoreboard, i can't think of a bigger, more unnecessary, pointless waste of money (apart from Andy Barrowman maybe?).

I would now like to explain (as i had always intended) that i have no bad feeling towards mantardo and that i certainly do not think that he is a pr!ck, infact i have no idea who he is. I used my previous post to illustrate a point. I have seen numerous people on this forum lambasted in the past for insulting individuals and as a result had their right to use this forum brought into question, yet it seems that for a senior moderator this is acceptable. Mantardo; i am sure you don't think that Chick Young really is a pr!ck and that your comment was meant purely as innocent banter. Understandably there is a line somewhere in the sand that cannot be crossed, my gripe is that this line seems to move about depending on who's toes are getting close to crossing it. Once again i am utterly astounded at the garbage i am reading on this forum. I bet the people slating Chick Young on this the thread are the same people who will be complaining at the likes of excessive use of reference to The 1966 World Cup. I would be disappointed if there was not a representative from the Scottish media at the world cup, this way we at least will get a small Scottish perspective from the coverage of the world cup. I am starting to find reading this forum more and more painful due to the constant moaning and whining about almost everything from some individuals on here.
