Extending Dean Brills loan deal
He's certainly good at dealing with crosses and high balls, which is a chance for most of our previous keepers.

Boosting attendances
Deary me, if people aren't going because they might hear words that haven't been verified as acceptable by their local church minister, then they probably shouldn't be allowed out of the house unaccompanied!

Juanjo - Came back on trial at the same time as Lionel Djebi-Zadi, but was not offered a deal. Afterwards went on trial with Ross County, Airdrie and Bournemouth but failed to win a contract with each of them. Later played for Mataro in Spain, Gibralter United, Aris Limassol and APEP in Cyprus. It's unclear where he is now.

I wouldn't have thought so. I'm sure that Jackson Irvine at Killie (on loan from Celtic) has switched to Australia, despite playing for the Scotland U20. Might be different if it's a "C" squad and not a youth level though.- New Away Strip
Wasn't that big a fan of it when the photos of it first came out. Looks a lot better in the flesh and IMO looks pretty sharp out on the field.- Back To The Vic
Aye, don't worry if you can't understand the commentary.....we can't either!- They Came On Trial...

See it also says that he played twice and scored once for Bournemouth. If you actually read the page it says he was a trialist and the linked article he actually scored in a friendly against the Swansea reserve team. We were going to sign him on a two year deal for the U20s but there was some dispute between his agent and someone on the ICT board which meant the offer was removed apparently. One article about him also says that he couldn't join Killie because "their squad list had already been submitted" and has also been linked with moves to Adelaide United and Perth Glory. Sounds like he's trying to big himself up quite a bit to be honest.- They Came On Trial...
Liam Molesworth! Seemed a bit of a cocky wee lad who scored against Brora or somewhere from what I remember in a North of Scotland Cup match. Was looking him up the other day funnily enough and I see he was at The Cove SC in the South Australia State League after trials with Kilmarnock and Bouremouth. He's now at the wildly named Adelaide Blue Eagles in the South Australian Super League (probably a standard akin to the Highland League).- They Came On Trial...
Ryan Harper - Scottish striker/winger who'd only played in Spain came on trial in 2009 after not winning a contract after a trial at Partick Thistle (then in the First Division) and after at deal at Hamilton Accies fell through. He later went onto play for the Real Betis B team and is currently at CF Fuenlabrada in the third tier of Spanish football. Seems his younger brother Jack is or was in the Real Madrid youth team.- They Came On Trial...
I'm sure it was Dinning that was on trial, and they were both favourites of Malky Thompson from his time as assistant there. All fell through when him and Brewster were sacked. Seems his last club was Bridgnorth Town in the Midland Football Alliance in 2011. Butler (who was once capped for Ireland), seemingly never played again after his release from Chester. He's now a coach at Doncaster.- They Came On Trial...

From what I remember about Kerrea Gilbert (who looked alright actually, similar type of full back to Kenny Gillet), he was on trial and got injured and Butcher told him that when his injury had cleared up he would sign him. He then went down and played a game for MK Dons and Butcher cancelled the contract offer. After spells with Yeovil and Shamrock Rovers (who's fans gave him a terrible write up), his last club was Maidenhead United. It seems though he's no longer there and has since disappeared into the mists of time.- They Came On Trial...
I had the ehm...."honour" of seeing him play! He played at the last pre-season friendly away to County (and had also away to Peterhead prior to that IIRC), a few weeks before Charlie Christie resigned. He was quite simply, horrendous. Andre Martins was indeed signed up and then released quite soon after. Strangely, his next team was Goais in the Brazilian top flight. He was released quite quickly again though. Apparently in South America, he has since been revealed as a con artist. Saw him play in an U20 match. He was also terrible. Dachi Khutsishvili was on trial all season with the U20s but from what I can see was never actually signed. Looked promising though when I saw him. Here's another one - Sean Evans - An English-born, former Welsh U21 left winger who came in on trial from Manchester United and was apparently highly rated by Alex Ferguson. Played against Clach and County in friendlies in 2008 and was rather unimpressive and thus not signed by Brewster. Seems after being released by Man U, he went to Aberystwyth Town, AFC Telford and a few other low league English clubs. He's now at Stourbridge in the Southern Premier League.- They Came On Trial...
Trialists. We've had many of them of over the years and while some were signed up and were both great successes and tragic failures, others have disappeared into the mists of time. So aside from those who were signed up, who else have we had over the years? How many of them them were missed chances? And how many of them were lucky escapes? I think we should go one at a time, it's more fun that way! I'll start us off - Vladimirs Koļesņičenko - A Latvian international attacking midfielder who came on trial at the same time as Pavels Mihadjuks. Brewster decided not to sign him. Seems afterwards he played for clubs in Azerbaijan and the Ukraine as well as two spells at Skonto Riga, who he is now chairman of! They also have Nauris Bulvitis playing for them as well!- Most valuable player to play at TCS
I could only get the Irish and Russian teams up. Ireland had John O'Shea and a couple of the Russian players seem to have alright at domestic level, but nothing spectacular.- Most valuable player to play at TCS
I see some of the U16 European Championship which was held in Scotland, had matches played in Inverness (presumably at the Caley Stadium and some were also played in Dingwall), so potentially some major players might have been in those squads, as well as some of the other minor internationals played here over the years. Could this not be the same competition where a young Thierry Henry played at Victoria Park?- ICTFC U20s
This season they seem to be on Tuesday nights with KO usually at 6pm. There is no entry fee, they just open the gate between the Main Stand and the South Stand and you just wander in.- Happy Birthday
I wonder if the club will do anything big for the 20th anniversary. There wasn't much, if anything for the 10th IIRC. - James Vincent for Northern Ireland
