Surely it's time for some sort of ICT XI to play Inverness City.

Party in the Park
I was hoping for a more The Who, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2 kind of size band myself. :021:

so are the real fans geting to hold the cup
Agreed, it always used to annoy me a while ago when, if you didn't rate the ICT manager or the ICT whatever, then you weren't a "true fan". There's a couple of posters (who shall remain nameless) who seem particularly bad for it. Really annoys me. Beat ya, I've got Richie Foran wallpaper on my bedroom ceiling! I've got Richie Foran in my bedroom. TELT! I am Richie Foran. That must make me the best fan of all.

Party in the Park
In other words, someone we've never heard of. But please, if it is someone well known, please not McFly or any of that rubbish. Hopefully it'll be a real band, who play real instruments. Any ideas?

Pitch invasion(s)
Yes, I am one of the sweetie rustlers and did not invade the pitch. However as a season ticket holder who has been to all the home matches, cup and league, as well as the majority of the away games I think I have the right to celebrate how I want. And I don't want the club to incur a fine. I just hope that all those who invaded the pitch now buy season tickets, support the team through good and bad times, and don't just turn out to be glory hunters. There were quite a few "supporters" yesterday in blue tops - old scum blue tops. Ecxuse any typing errors but now that I am home just having a wee celebratory shandy! Old scum blue tops? What are you trying to say there? Rangers perhaps...?

ICT 2004/2010 XI
MM would be one of the coaches! There's no place for Cowie, Rankin and Black as they didn't play for ICT in season 2003/04 or 2009/10, this squad is just for players that played in both championship winning seasons.

ICT 2004/2010 XI
What would your "dream team" be of the two 1st Division winning sides? For me - Esson Tokely Mann © Munro Golabek Wilson Bingham Hayes Foran Rooney Richie Subs - Brown, McCafferey, Hart, Cox, Duncan Manager - Robbo Assistant Manager - Terry Butcher and Donald Park Blue - 2004 Red - 2010 (If a player played in both, the colour represents which era in which they played best for the club)

2004 V. 2010
I reckon the better footballing side was the 2004 one. Better team, better players, better football. Can't much away from the current team though, as coming back in the way they did is an outstanding achievement.

Pictures from Ayr
From the pics, Ayr's ground looks like a glorified Grant Street Park!

Renegade's April Quiz
Well, for the benefit of Mr MacLeod. 1. Which ICT player sent off in the 28th minute on the 7th March 2009? Andy McNulty. He was playing for Elgin City at the time. Lionel Djebi-Zadi was sent off two minutes later. 2. Who is this and what is his link with ICT? Former Tenerife and Borussia Dortmund manager Bernd Krauss. He was allegedly after the ICT managers job after Brewster was sacked. 3. Before Butcher was a professional footballer with Ipswich, he was a trainee what? It couldn't have been easier, the answer was in the name. He was an apprentice BUTCHER! 4. At one in Butcher's career he picked up an injury and the bleeding he had was refusing to stop. What was used to make the bleeding stop? A hanky. Whilst in hospital in the early 1980s the medical team were having problems stopping Butcher's bleeding. Whilst in hospital Butcher received a letter from a "faith healer" and said that if he held that a certain time, if held onto the hanky, the "faith healers" would pray for him at the same time. Amazing, it stopped the bleeding. 5. How many stadiums have ICT played their "home" games in (Hampden doesn't count)? And what are they? Not 5 as is commonly thought. The answer is in fact 6. They are Telford Street, Caley Stadium, Tannadice, Victoria Park, Pittodrie and Grant Street Park. The latter occurred a couple of seasons ago for a North of Scotland Cup game. ICT were drawn at home against Clach, though the fixture was moved to Grant Street. Even though it was played there, ICT still technically played as the "home" team.

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Post-Match Thread
A point to ponder here, is this the highest ICT result ever with the lowest amount of Scottish scorers? Of the seven goals, only Morrison is Scottish. The rest were by three Irishmen, two Englishmen and a Spaniard.

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Match thread
So McBain stays in for Golly and Morrison gets a start. Interesting...

Team for Ayr
Oh well, can't be caught now. May as well muck about a bit ad go out and gub 'em! Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Djebi-Zadi Cox Duncan Sanchez Rooney Foran Hayes Subs - Allison, McBain, Proctor, Eagle, Odhiambo Chances are if Ayr find themselves under attack from the beginning, they're shut the barn door for the 90. ICT should go and score as many as possible.

What positions do we need to look at now?
Is that Maurice Ross much good? I see he's at Beijing Guoan now. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but if I were boss I'd be strongly looking at Craig Moore. ICT need a good a good, experienced centre-half and that's what he is. He's also without a club just now after leaving some Greek club. The fact that he and Butcher are also both heavily associated with Rangers could also be an added bonus. Another centre-back I'd also look at is Matthew Booth the big South African defender. Playing for some South African team just now, but is a massive bloke and seems pretty experienced with spells in Russia and (according to Wikipedia) 24 caps for his country.

Rooney
He did awfully well to get up and show no signs of pain then.

Worst manager ever?
Claude Anelka had a pretty terrible record at Raith. He signed players from the Paris 7-a-side leagues and his record is something like one point from eight games in charge. Unbelievably he now has another management job with AC St Louis!
-
Worst manager ever?
Maurice Malpas as a manager in his own right did pretty dreadfully with both clubs he's managed. At Motherwell he took a top 6 SPL side to just missing relegation and no more in the space of a season, and at Swindon he got the sack for another terrible display. He should just stick at being an assistant.

TERRY'S CONTRACT
It was extended not that long ago, a couple of months ago at least. He signed on for another year so his contract (and Malpas's as well) won't be up until the end of next season.
