League reconstruction?
I quite like the idea above, but I'd also switch to summer football (start in say February and end in about November, with obvious changes being made in World Cup/Euro years, but I doubt that'll happen any time soon ;) ).

Terracing for Dundee Game???
I heard at a game recently that the club were planning to open out the far end of the west side as terracing, and don't know why or what for, but that's what I was told. Obviously, I can't prove it and have no idea if it is true, but again, that's what I was told.

Falling Standards?
IMO the whole attitude to the game here is wrong. A defence mindset from the outset, along with frequent long ball tactics do this country no favours whatsoever. Look at what the Dutch do, from the very beginning with the youth teams they teach to play an attacking style, along with the use of the 4-3-3 formation. Our approach seems to be "don't get beat". Obviously this country will never be able to attract the players capable of constructing world beating teams (with the odd excepton in the past, Celtic in the 1960s being a prime example), but the game itself up here is, well, boring. Look at the football teams like Arsenal, teams like Barcelona, teams like Manchester United. Fantastic football, and a winning mentality. These teams go out and play a style that is not just effective, but entertaining. The attitude often displayed in Scotland is "Winning is what is important, not the performance". Well, tell that Johan Cryuff, Pep Guardiola and Rinus Michels. Why can't we, in this country start from the very beginning of the footballing levels, making it compulsory (as is beginning to be the case in some countries) that teams play a style of football that is attack minded? Obviously, we will never be able to attract a team of global superstars, but our attitude towards the game here, doesn't do anything to help create our own, or to help create a better style of football. If Scottish football doesn't change soon, and continues heading down the same track it is now, then it is quite simply doomed.

Scottish Cup Final (merged)
Here's the way I look at things with this. First of all, I don't buy into either argument. I don't buy into this we're Highlanders so we should support them cause they're a Highland team stuff. Nor do I buy into this somewhat petty argument of "I support ICT, so I have to hate everything Ross County". I am an ICT supporter and a football supporter and what Ross County has achieved is very good and they should be commended for it. Good for them, they've done something that will go down in their history and have done something I sure wish ICT had done, whilst also playing a style of football, both effective and entertaining, something that I feel is lacked in Scottish football today. What I also admire about their style is that they took a stance of confidence and courage and applied that to their game. Too many clubs come up against the OF and essentially shut the barn door. The game is lost before they even step out onto the field. The way County approached the game shows great self belief and the reason why they won. In many ways in reminds me of the ICT of old. Am I County supporter? No. Am I a County hater? No. If County win it, they win it, if they don't they don't. I'm not bothered either way, nor will I be attending the final. They are another team, and nothing more. Thankfully I'm not a member of either of these groups, two groups that in process of their arguments have made themselves look very petty, very childish, and quite sad.

How long will their dream last?
Well done County. I hope they enjoy their European adventure to Lichtenstein or some other unheard of backwater country.

Cup or the League?
With what's happened to County today, here's a hypothetical question. Would you rather see ICT win the Scottish Cup or win Division 1 and get promotion back to the SPL. For me, I'd have the league any day of the week.

So which result is bigger?
You gotta remember though, ICT (age 6) beat Celtic (aged 112) and then went and did it again.

How long will their dream last?
Shows you what attacking football can do.

Does it have to be? You'll Never Walk Alone doesn't have much to do with Celtic, Glasgow, football or Catholicism.

TRANSPORT PROBLEMS FOR COUNTY - ANY PICTURES?
Two noble and smartly dressed Jailenders wait for the County Express to take them to the game. Some of the players wives get to Hampden early to find a good seat. Two of the County fans have a quick bath before the start of their big day. Some supporters even took their entire house along with them. Though some encountered a few problems.

Where could I see the highlights of games?
I think Falkirk charge something like ?4 a month for their live coverage (and you get some other stuff in there too).

If it all comes down to Ayr.....
Here's what you said - Not much different or "selective" about it. Just the fact the word "never" and "ever" aren't there, but the crux of the thing is essentially the same.

Where could I see the highlights of games?
See with the match footage only being allowed 3 mins, do things such as goal celebrations count as "match action", players coming on and off the pitch, etc and allowed under the "3 minute" rule? What about manager/player interviews after the game? Also, what are the rules regarding live coverage? I believe Falkirk broadcast all their home games live over the internet for foreign based supporters.
