  1. The difference is though, Doran is still at a Premiership side, Zander's at Buckie!
  2. That's the problem though, does he? I don't what Butcher's problem with him is. As soon as he came in, Duncan was dropped for Brian Kerr, then it was Stratford, then it was Duff, then he got back in and now he's dropped for Duff again. What's Butcher's problem? I thought Duncan would be one of those experienced, hard working battlers that he would admire, but obviously not and it's Butcher's mistake in not playing him.
  3. Esson Duff Tokely Innes Gillet Duncan Doran---------------------Hayes Sanchez Foran Rooney Subs- Tuffey, Ross, Shinnie, Sutherland, Odhiambo, McBain, Golabek
  4. HT - ICT 0-1 Aberdeen FT - ICT 2-1 Aberdeen ICT 1st scorer - Hayes AFC 1st scorer - Vernon Attendance - 4,513
  5. I bet this is the same middled aged do-gooders that went on that crusade against Russell Brand and Johnathon Ross a couple of years back and the ones who got all upset when Barack Obama killed that fly! Someone earlier mentioned Loose Women, I tell you if that was men talking about women in the way do, it wouldn't be shown until after the watershed. Come on people, there's more important issues and injustices in the world to be outraged about than this.
  6. My own view is that Rooney would score even more goals if he had a quicker more Dargoesque striker playing with him.
  7. ICT desperately need to punt this 4-2-3-1 thing at home IMO.
  8. The Washington Whips will be a hard team to beat and I reckon it' time to dump the 4-5-1, so I'd go with - Esson Tokely Innes Munro Shinnie Duncan Ross-------------------------------Hayes Sanchez Rooney Foran Subs - Tuffey, Sutherland, Proctor, McBain, Gillet*, Blumenshtein/Duff, Odhiambo * - If Gillet is still out, Golabek comes in.
  9. HT - ICT 2-1 Accies FT - ICT 3-1 Accies ICT 1st scorer - Foran Accies 1st scorer - Imrie Attendance - 3,711
  10. Renegade would be delighted with this signing.
  11. Apparently he wasn't just linked with Leeds, he scored for them in a reserve game against Middlesbrough. Where did I hear about him? Well I suppose it was just from research due to my curiosity in that region. You never see any Pacific players really, except for Tim Cahill (he turned out for the Samoa U16s I think). There has been a few at rather low league Australian sides, as well as the odd USL team in America. The New Zealand League (which I doubt is really that great) has a fair few mind, most likely due to geographical reasons and this article goes on to say that Krishna is the best one in it. That's where it all stemmed from really. You see plenty of Pacific rugby players. There's Vijay Singh the golfer. As well as a few dotted others around other sports, but football seems to the one place you never see them. It could be a new market for a team like ICT!
  12. Roy Krishna. He's the man we need!
  13. Didn't Kavala have Craig Moore up until a few months ago?
  14. Aye, as good as Ross is, a bit too slight to play to start against Accies. While Odhiambo and Sanchez also aren't the biggest, I feel that after Eric's performance at Ibrox he gives the pace down the wing the team needs in the absence of Hayes (in fact I nearly went with Duff at right back with Tokely at right wing), while Sanchez may be more capable of playing the killer ball through to the front four. Ross can always come at half time should he need to mind (even before!).
  15. Remember how Hamilton play. A 5-4-1 ultra-defensive system relying on stopping the other team playing. With that in mind I'd go - Esson Tokely Innes Munro Shinnie Duncan Sanchez Odhiambo Rooney Foran Sutherland Subs - Tuffey, Ross, Duff, McBain, Golabek, Proctor, Blumenshtein
  16. HT - RFC 1-0 ICT FT - RFC 2-1 ICT RFC 1st scorer - Lafferty ICT 1st scorer - Duncan Attendance - 31,678
  17. Well, my thinking was, if it was freezing temperatures outside and the child was left in a car with no heating it could freeze to death, if the heating was left on, it would be fine.
  18. Al-Ahli is who it seems to be, who are managed by David O'Leary. They're also captained by Cannavaro. Massive squad by the looks of things too.
  19. IIRC none of the aforementioned players were let go because of relegation, in fact most were let go before that. The likes of Ridgers, Soane, Kerr and MacDonald were not U-19s when the were punted, they were in fact, in the reserve squad, and in the case of Kerr were regularly on the bench.
  20. I suppose it all depends if the heating was on.
  21. I believe that should Rooney go, he could be replaced. Hayes on the other hand, would be very difficult to do so.
  22. Here's a few more to throw in, Ally Ridgers. Two spells with ICT, racking up a grand total of zero appearances. Brought back to ICT by CC from Clach to be back-up for Fraser just after Brown left. Apparently was a pretty poor keeper. Stuart Soane - On the bench a couple of times, has disappeared into the mists of time since. Ally MacDonald - On the bench a couple of times during season 07/08. Disappeared like Soane since. Guy Kerr - Played about five minutes against Gretna, at some small club in the SFL now. And here's maybe a bit of a controversial one, but Richard Hastings went IMO from being a very good left back in season 06/07 to being a fairly poor one from 07/08 onwards. Butcher didn't seem to take to him either.
  23. HT - MFC 1-2 ICT FT - MFC 2-2 ICT MFC 1st scorer - Craigan ICT 1st scorer - Foran Attendance - 4,116
  24. Some in the know have informed me that Rooney was not at Hibs for a medical today and it is very very unlikely that he'll move to another Scottish club. I have also been informed that there is a good chance he will be here till the end of the season, but if he does go somewhere it will not be to another Scottish club.
  25. If this is true, I think the Caley Curse will strike again!
