ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
Did anyone else think that Tade looked quite a player yesterday? He was big, quick and looked pretty skillfull too. There was one moment as well when he ran down the right wing in the second half, weaved his way round the ICT defenders, went into the box, weaved about again, skipped over a tackle, then lost the ball, and then got it back again. Sign him up please.

But What About the Pies?
When this new company started I was quite eager to try them out and see what the hype was all about. I personally have bought a pie before matches pretty religiously over the last few years, but after the rip off price I paid for it and the shoddy product I received, I haven't had one since. I think since then I've bought one bovril a few months ago, and a Coke against Motherwell (which tasted about 90% old water). Haven't had anything since, and nor will I until things change in a big big way.

The 4-3-3, that's the way forward. :finger03:

We've won it
I agree with you to a certain extent. After seeing most of the teams in the division this year, none look really outstanding. Dunfermline are now out of the running and county - who I thought were going to be our main challengers latterly have the distraction of the cup and the four games in a week at the end. Did you see the Dundee v QoS game? Dundee were dire. I didn't, but even if that were the case I still wouldn't right them off yet. It's not over till it's over, or so they say.

Aye that's him. Could still do with a back up for Esson mind.

Sanchez
Well let's put that to the test with Odhiambo - Eric has a good touch - No Eric had a good touch in the opposition half - No Eric can pass - No Eric can pass in the opposition half - No You say about goals, well sometimes scoring goals isn't everything. When Sanchez is playing, ICT always play better football. ICT is also one of those sides where usually if they play good football and keep the ball down, they usually create more chances. Maybe Sanchez doesn't score as many, but he certainly plays more of a part in a good team display when he's in the squad. Odhiambo does nothing but get clattered every 10 seconds.

We've won it
I am thinking positive. I'm very optimistic about ICT's title challenge, for the record I think the club has an unbelievable chance. Saying "I BELIEVE" and all that is fine, and creates a positive mindset BUT saying that the club has already won it, when they quite clearly haven't, comes across as being extremely arrogant, and more often than not, is the kiss of death. Saying "I think we've won" - fine. Saying "We've won it" - big no no.

ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
Will this mean that Munro is banned for next Saturday? I thought I heard somewhere that he was very close to being suspended.

ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
I thought he got off lightly. Munro had his hands all over him.

We've won it
Why don't you start a thread discussing which players will leave if we don't make it to the SPL? Maybe I should... In relation to the thread you're referring to,I believed that it was a fair question, and one that I wanted answered. The question as was remember - "If ICT go down" not, "when ICT go down". Saying "We've won it" when ICT quite clearly haven't is, as I said earlier, the kiss of death. Going by your reaction to my thread (for those who can't remember, this is the genius that started another thread just after mine, calling for my dismissal), and the smiley at the end of your post, says quite a bit about you personally and the bright human being you must be...

Where could I see the highlights of games?
In regards to Partick away, I had a look on their site a couple of weeks ago for the highlights, but I couldn't find any.

ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
Anyone else notice that the team seem to have played a lot better since Imrie went? Coincidence?

Signings For Next Season
If ICT go up, that goalie from Partick is a must.

Did we miss Duncan today
Absolutely. The midfield didn't look half as strong without him.

We've won it
Uh oh, I'd never start a thread like this. The phrase "famous last words comes to mind". "Kiss of death" is another..

Sanchez
Give me Sanchez in the starting line up over OdhiamNo any day of the week.

ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
The reason I thought he put Bully on, was because Tokely seemed to play as a centre forward for the last few minutes and he was put on to shore up the defence and to add a bit of strength going forward for the final push.

Signings For Next Season
I see Craig Moore is unattached at the moment. He might be getting on a bit (34, younger than Golly), but he really is the sort of player ICT need just now, espacially if there is SPL football next season.

Daniel Stratford
Besides giving the ball away a couple of times, he did nothing. Absolutely nothing. What a poor poor player. Yet I see some dimwit has voted for him in the POTY poll. Unbelivable.

I'd go - Esson Tokely-----Bulvitis-----Munro-----Golabek Cox Duncan Hayes Sanchez Rooney Foran Subs - Allison, Proctor, Odhiambo, McBain, Eagle/Ross/Djebi-Zadi- ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
I'd rather see a player in there who isn't weekly bad in that position.- ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
Boo yeah! That's the sign of champions, especially after being seconds away from blowing it. But lets be honest here, about 95% of ICT's play today was embarrassing. Long high aimless balls pumped up the park at every opportunity. I think Butcher must have been reading the Craig Brewster Tactical handbook, cause the football was just horrid. But ICT won, and that'll make him a genius! Of the players, Foran was good, Rooney took his goal well, but sometimes doesn't have the pace to catch these long punts, and Hayes tried hard. Of the defence, Tokely was solid enough, as was Esson, and so was Golly, who did well up against the somewhat dangerous Gregory Tade. Munro was quite good defensively but his distribution was terrible. Maybe he doesn't know that it's possible to distribute the ball in another fashion, not just via a huge pointless punt. I thought Proctor had a bad bad game. Of the midfield, Cox did quite well, but I don't know what Stratford was playing. He did nothing. And Odhiambo? Took his (probably) offside goal well, but once again did absolutely nothing but give the ball away. How long before Butcher realises that he's too short and too slight for that position? He's just a waste of space in there. Overall, a good and relieving result. Winning, whilst playing terribly, that is the mark of champions.- ICT -V- Ross County : matchnight thread
I don't support them, I just read that you saw the stuff about Adams so I went to check it out. - Team for Morton
