And another thing, one of the reasons why players seem so poor at controlling the ball these days is probably cause it's far too light. These new balls cause far too many problems.

Is it just me do most of the ICT team are completely unable to control the ball? Most of them, when the ball comes to them, it just pings often and they seem to be unable to trap it and control it at all. A couple know and have known how to do it. Barry Robson could do it, Black could do it and from the current line up, Cox seems pretty capable of controlling it pretty well. The rest seem know hee haw about what to do. It's about time they started practicing this at training. Discuss.

Why should the fact that he was a great player mean that they'll be successful? From what I gather he's pretty inept at managing.

Eagle's okay, has a decent cross on him, but has times when he seems to disappear. Think Imrie starting on the left and Hayes on the right and switching them around every so often as Nakamura and McGeady would be very beneficial.

What time do you mean? I looked but I didn't notice a Harrison on the list. There's a goalie called something Harrison at Clach just now, could it be the same guy?

Going by that list then the ICT with the best goal ratio must be John MacDonald. Two appearances, one goal. No mention of a John Calder like I was thinking for that keeper I was thinking of, but there is a Niall Calder. Don't know if he was any relation to Jim.

a bit more than a handful of times for some of them .... but judging by your list, I would say perhaps you didnt follow our early seasons too closely ? No, I never saw any of the first season, so from the list I saw I just put up the names of those I hadn't heard of.

Correct me if I'm wrong but was there not a short time Golabek filled in at right back. That came into my head the other and couldn't remember if it happened or not. I do however remember Golabek seeming to have long spells at left midfield, especially in the first couple of seasons in the SPL after Hastings returned.

No it isn't cause Smith is in that picture as well. Fraser and Brown are both there with Smith in nezt to them (he was third choice in 06/07). I know it's him cause a - I know what he looks like and b - he was only about 5"10 so is quite noticable for being a shorter keeper. This other guy is standing next to him and has black hair and looks about Fraser's height (about 6"4). I also seem to recollect seeing the name Calder on the bench on a few of the reserve team line ups from that season.

I have the right to post the formation I please and IN MY OPINION would be best, and IN MY VIEW ICT have to play attacking football to suceed and get promoted, so I don't see what's so hilarious about it. If you don't like my opinion...tough!

I believe in the Netherlands there is North Holland and South Holland which are just states or countys. There hasn't been a country called "Holland" for a few hundred years IIRC.

Think it's time we had an Interesting Facts thread. Post here your interesting facts. Please post true facts only. I'll start us off: Holland is NOT a country. The country often wrongly referred to as Holland, is in fact correctly titled The Netherlands.
