  1. Sad result but ICT got what they deserved, nowt.
  2. What is it about this ref? Every time they focus in on his face, he's laughing his head off.
  3. Bit odd to see Byrne on the bench but it looks like Tokely at CB and Pavels at RB.
  4. Damn It B) What a shame! B) wheres justin timberlake these days? :017:
  5. As awful as these people obviously are, there's no way the death penalty should ever be brought back, can't be brought back in Britain anyway.
  6. What mine, or the first one?
  7. Well today is Judgement Day, and I'm petrified, though also somewhat excited. It's a funny feeling, it feels like it could Christmas, or Armadgeddon. What are your feelings on this decisive day?
  8. Whatever happens to Saturday, I can't help but feel a sense of a new era fall on the Caley Stadium. From a team that stared relegation in the face under Brewster and Thompson, an absolute transformation has occurred under the leadership of Butcher and Malpas. It saddens me that I cannot be there in person to witness the most momentous and important game in the history of Caley Thistle, but I have hope of what could happen, hope of what can be done, you gotta have hope. But whatever happens on Saturday, I know for almost certainty that the Golden Years of Caley Thistle are still to come and should ICT stay in the SPL, I truly believe that under the leadership of Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas, season 2009/2010 will be the greatest in the history of this small club. As I said, I cannot be at the ground for this game, but I will be staying up as I often do to listen to the game, if I can stand the tension. I know that it may be some time before I see my beloved team again, I just hope the next time I take my seat in the North Stand, it'll be in SPL competition. But one things for sure, whatever happens on Saturday, the hope will still live, the work will continue, the dream will live on, and it will flourish again.
  9. When you say a smaller team do you mean height wise or club size(elgin/clach)??? Both
  10. :( :P :D B) :) :( i dont like marathons, and i go to college (well, i say go  ) yes i love my emotians Oh the irony in your misspelling of illiterate. I am posting lots largely due to anxiety about the weekend, and I feel this is a place where I can share that with other Caley fans; surely that is the forum's purpose?! Also, I am at the end of my second last year of University. Stop being a tw*t, we were ersing about and do not ACTUALLy want you banned... Dear oh dear, when you thought it couldn't get any worse... it does, and some are taking my comments personally! But what I mean by ultra-reactionary, is that it seems that if one player has a bad game, some posters seem to go so nuts that they can only see one side and act almost like the aforementioned player should be shot. By the way, what was the name of the topic that was closed? I'm dying to know.
  11. No chance
  12. Who'd have thought the day would come that Renegade would actually pick a team I'd completely agree with (apart from the captain).. shocker well played that man, I just hope Butcher agrees Well I'll tell you why I went for Rosscoe as captain. The reason being that this is the game where Munro will have to be (like the other players) , the best he can without being sidetracked by captaincy issues. Also he's never really shown any leadership qualitites to me at all (although none of the ICT players really show much of it to be honest).
  13. Your posts are shocking pal. You a county fan or something? :024: Funnily enough, I was contemplating a prolonged posting hiatus to begin at the end of the season (mainly due to the fact that this once excellent forum seems to have been hijacked by marathon-posting, ultra-reactrionary, smiley loving, illitarate schoolchildren) but I don't think I will now.
  14. IF ICT get relegated on Saturday, who do you think stay at ICT and who will go? For me - Fraser - Away anyway Tokely - Stay Djebi-Zadi - Stay Proctor - Stay McGuire - Go (hopefully) McBain - Stay (may go if ICT stay up) Morais - Go Black - Away anyway Rooney - Go Barrowman - Go Imrie - Go Duncan - Stay (but hopefully does) Munro - Stay Hastings - Stay Zander - Go (to a smaller team) Mihadjuks - Go Gathuessi - Go (Though might be alright in the First Division) Byrne - Go (Though like Gathuessi, might be alright in the First Division) Gillespie - God knows Wood - Stay Esson - Go (Could be away anyway) Duff - Stay Foran - Go Odhiambo - Go Vigurs - Go Kerr - Not sure McNulty - God knows, who cares.
  15. Gotta be Heroes by David Bowie doesn't it.
  16. I wonder how many ex-ict players will be there Who cares?
  17. haha no but we can still win win 8 players, let along 10 ------------------------------------------ ESSON ---------------------------------------------- ---- PROCTOR ----------- TOKELY ---------------- MUNRO --------------- DJEBI-ZADI ---- ----------------------------------------- MCGUIRE --------------------------------------------- ------ KERR -------------- BLACK ----------------- MCBAIN -----------------IMRIE --------- ----------------------------------------- MORAIS ----------------------------------------------- MCGUIRE CAN BE REPLACED WITH PAVELS REGARDING INJURY STATUS* Happy now Mr R  No not really, a 4-1-4-1 is not the formation to go with for this game, , once again you take a somewhat reactionary view in Lionel's inclusion, you don't start with Foran but you do play McGuire who is to put in bluntly, dreadful. McBain usually does nowt everytime he plays, Morais up-front alone is not the way to go and Brian Kerr aint a right winger, he's a central-midfield player. If Butcher goes with that formation it'll simply be bye bye SPL. well not changing it at all When i tried 4-1-4-1 on a friendly match on Fifa 09, (same players) it worked brillantly. Managing a big club is like playing fifa :lol02:  I didn't realise that the Fifa game was exactly like real life! And anyway I went with 1-2-7 in football manager once as England. Scored a shedload of goals but I wouldn't do it in real life.
  18. He's desperate to move to Rangers.
  19. I have no time for either God Save the Queen or Flower of Scotland, both deal with issues that people need to move on from and most both are quite frankly boring. But then again I always thought Flower of Scotland is NOT the Scottish anthem, Scotland the Brave is.
  20. haha no but we can still win win 8 players, let along 10 :crazy03: ------------------------------------------ ESSON ---------------------------------------------- ---- PROCTOR ----------- TOKELY ---------------- MUNRO --------------- DJEBI-ZADI ---- ----------------------------------------- MCGUIRE --------------------------------------------- ------ KERR -------------- BLACK ----------------- MCBAIN -----------------IMRIE --------- ----------------------------------------- MORAIS ----------------------------------------------- MCGUIRE CAN BE REPLACED WITH PAVELS REGARDING INJURY STATUS* Happy now Mr R :lol03: No not really, a 4-1-4-1 is not the formation to go with for this game, , once again you take a somewhat reactionary view in Lionel's inclusion, you don't start with Foran but you do play McGuire who is to put in bluntly, dreadful. 21. Exactly right. Lionel has something a lot of others don't. Speed, crossing, passing, strength, height,. Imagine if you let him run at the opposing full backs for 90 minutes, he would cause them nowt but trouble and unless the full back can run like the wind, if he gets past them he won't be caught. Also sticking him at left wing would mean that he wouldn't get caught out of position when the opposition team attack. Now chances are the right full back for Falkirk on Saturday will be Lee Bullen, who if I remeber correctly from the last time I saw him play is rather slow. Do you go with Lionel at left wing to get countless attacks down the wings, and also cutting Bullen off in the process? I don't know if that's the right thing to do in a game of this magnitude, but I'm almost certain that it would work.
  22. What do you mean? Of course it was my own idea, but then again smart minds do think a like.
  23. I seem to recollect a while back, that one of the players said that the then trialist Dining I think was very loud, much louder than the second loudest in the dressing room Esson. Something to do with that perhaps?
  24. 10 players! Do you want SFL foorball next season? ;)
