Yogi's Contract
I didn't see the report, but seemingly Yogi said on STV News the other week that "he'll be willing to stand aside whenever Richie Foran wants to take over." As far as I'm aware, his contract is up at the end of the season (I don't know about Brian Rice). I wonder if he'll see out this season with Richie Foran as boss for next season with Hughes leaving or being moved upstairs. Stranger things have happened.

Team to play Aberdeen
Fon Williams Raven Devine Meekings Tremarco Draper Tansey Mutombo Christie Williams Storey Subs - Esson, Vincent, Lopez, Foran, Ferguson, Sho-Silva, Polworth Was quite impressed with Mutombo on Tuesday and I really don't feel that Vincent is a winger. The rest is unchanged though.

I heard the story on MFR this evening and I was quite surprised by the tone of it. The club didn't seem to take this top secret approach with Toby Ayala, Darren Murray and JJ Hooper but with this one the tone seemed quite different. I can only presume it's someone that we really like the look of and don't wish other clubs to steal him at the last minute. Presume it's not another lower league unheard of and rather someone a bit more high profile.- Dundee Utd -V- Inverness CT
- CJT Bus Poll
Ehm, that's really the way it works now. To be quite honest, if we were to arrive at McDiarmid Park at the normal time, I'd have thought by the time you'd have walked into Perth town centre, it'd be time to walk back again. You certainly wouldn't have enough time to have a meal in a restaurant or something. I can't think of any trip I've made on the bus on the way to a game where we've had any trip to Perth town centre whatsoever, let alone a lengthy stop.- CJT Bus Poll
You've completely missed the point. Nowhere did I chastise anyone who does drink and it does happen usually upon reaching the ground or briefly in Perth on the way back. On the CJT bus, the focus, as it should be, is football. From what I gather, the focus on the Ross County bus is drinking. When that happens you'll start attracting people you'd rather weren't going. It's no surprise that most of the drivers attest that they much prefer driving our fans than our Dingwall counterparts.- CJT Bus Poll
I heard last season that those running the Ross County bus want to do there's in a similar manner to ours. Seemingly theirs stops at umpteem pubs and golf clubs on the way down, as well as (allegedly) turning a blind eye to drinking on the bus. While there's is cheaper, it's subsidised by the club. I'm quite glad our bus isn't like that in all honesty. Those who use the bus do so to enjoy their football and support their team. Opening it up to those who would be more interesting in the drinking side of it and you'd start having to share the bus with people you wish weren't going IMO.- Inverness CT -V- Hearts
Some people need to get over themselves. It's over, justice was done and we won the game. The way some people are going on, you'd think it was Sho-Silva that through the punch. Time to stop this foaming at the mouth and get over it. I'm cringing reading some of the comments here!- Scouting contacts
I recollect in an article about that Murray who was on trial recently, it definitely mentioned that he'd been watched by "ICT scouts". Presumably that means we have and maybe always have had more scouts than Marsella. Unless they're freelancers I guess (if they exist?).- New Away Strip
There's no JD Sports in the town centre. Is there?- New Away Strip
Not sign a deal with a joke brand. The deal with Carbrini and JD must be good financially for the club to take it. I also think that the quality of the merchandise is much better than Errea had provided for us. I can't see there being much of a difference in waiting until September because I know fans will still buy the kits. Fair enough we missed the perfect opportunity during the European games vs Astra to sell them but I think we will still have a good number of them sold when they do eventually go on sale. Don't you believe it. We really don't have a clue when dealing with this kind of thing! Keeping with the same supplier would have been the easiest option. Its a bold move and looking like the right one. Ideally it would have been better to sell in the club shop too but its for sale in the town centre and people have been crying out for a town centre outlet for a long time. Is it?- Ryan Christie
I think the biggest travesty of this whole saga is that Celtic announced on their website that Christie had signed for 'Bhoyhood heroes'....with the H in there! CRINGE!!- 2015/16 Home & Away Kit - Available to Order Now
While the deal itself may have been negotiated with a owner of a few local branches, Subway is still the name of a massive corporation donning the kits. The same goes for Carbrini. Neither of these need any extra advertising from me. As I said, if it was the name of a small local independent firm or a charity or something, then that's a different matter, but it isn't. It's the club's right to choose them as sponsors and suppliers, it's their right to put their name on the kits, it's my choice not to give them any free advertising.- 2015/16 Home & Away Kit - Available to Order Now
Just out of interest, what is it that's 'historic' about this new kit? First one with Carbrini? Agree with this. I think the new away kit is one of the smartest we've had, but I don't fancy going to games (wearing it as casual wear is a no no!) with SUBWAY written across me. If it was a local independent business or something similar (Inverness Medical for example) or a charity, then I'd be more open to it, but I don't think a company like Subway need any extra advertising from me. It's the same with the training/casual stuff out recently. Nice from the front, but it doesn't need the suppliers name plastered on the back of it.- Two loan signings
Seemingly Roberts is to be out for another two months. Wonder if that was the thinking in bringing in Sho-Silva and hence why he's only signed until Christmas.- Ryan Christie
Am I not right in saying that should he return to Celtic in January, he'd be cup tied for the Europa League? I'm a bit disappointed we've dealt with Celtic after their dreadful antics towards Meekings last season to be honest.- Replacement Striker?
My understanding is that Murray would take about 2 months to get fit. Don't think this is the time to take a punt and wait and see if he becomes any good to be honest.- Ryan Christie
How much did Hamilton Accies get for that left back Hendrie by the way? I'm sure it was about a million and was certainly more than we've been offered for Christie anyway.- Ryan Christie
That Alex O'Henley from BBC Alba has just tweeted that Anthony Stokes coming here on loan could be part of the Christie to Celtic deal if it goes through.- Replacement Striker?
Has he not just signed on loan with St Mirren? EDIT - Just checked. He has.- Dundee -V- Inverness CT
The only plus side about Mutombo's challenge, was that we won't have to see him for a while. A dreadful challenge to sum up a dreadful game. I could see him giving the eyes to some of the fans giving him grief as he went off. Can't say I had any sympathy for him though. A stupid thing to do. What I couldn't understand was why he lasted so long. I could understand Wedderburn coming on for a tiring Vigurs, but I couldn't understand we weren't taking Mutombo off for Foran (or even Horner or Polworth), just to see out the game and run down the clock, while also bringing someone on who could hold up for the ball. The way Mutombo was holding the ball, you'd think it was a bar of soap! As others have said, I'm really liking Williams at left back. The only thing he needs to work on a wee bit I'd say, is his crossing into the box. Reminds me a bit of Richard Hastings in that it's always straight at the keeper. Who was the suited up guy in our dugout by the way? Didn't recognise him.- Replacement Striker?
I've watched Myles Hippolyte on TV a few times last season. Always impressed.- Replacement Striker?
It's a nice idea, but I'd have thought our chances to being able to bring Stevie May in would be approximately nil sadly. - More new players
