I looked up trains between Giurgiu to Bucharest there and it seems there's none back after the game. Probably could do it on the way there though. What's the best plan of action by the way? Stay in Bucharest and travel there and back?

Weirdly, looking at SkyScanner there you can get from Glasgow via Heathrow to Bucharest for just over £300 return. Even though it's further away, it's cheaper than a trip to Iceland would've been.

I'm not a fan of a Caley home and Thistle away concept, but I do think a red version of the home kit with two black stripes down the middle would look pretty cool. It'd also be nice if the club opted not to go with a white or ICT coloured away in some fashion and go with something different for a change. I'm bored of white away/third kits, though black seems to be a non-starter.

The top 4 teams in England have got to be in the Champions league. No question about that Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United , Manchester City, Could give any team in the world a good game. Of course there should be a question. If they don't progress as well as teams from nations who have less places, why on earth should they continue to have four places? Teams should be there on merit. The real scandal to me is the way that failure in the Champions League system get a 2nd bite of the cherry in the Europa League. The name of the tournament is the 'Champions' League. Arsenal haven't won the English Premier League for about a decade. A couple of years back, Spurs were in it. They haven't won it since the 1960s! Hardly 'champions' to take part in the Champions League. Seems awfully unfair as well that a team in one country wins their league and have to go through a couple of qualifying rounds while another can finish 4th...4th! and get straight in. If Uefa want to include these teams, they should really look at expanding the Europa League or even bringing back the Cup Winners Cup.

I wonder if Wedderburn has been signed with the intention of going to back three more often next season. Seemingly, Wedderburn is very left footed. I wonder if the plan is to play him on the left side of a back three with Raven and Williams as wing-backs bombing up and down the line. With a plan of playing 5-3-2 or the 3-4-2-1 as we saw against Partick, could also mean that we wouldn't need to sign another out and out winger to replace Watkins. Considering the positions we have covered at the moment, on paper it's surprising that we've gone for another defender and central midfielder. Perhaps though it was done because Hughes invisions us playing a different formation next season and he can act as cover for the roles within it.

Yes he was all that bad. The odd flash of quality and the odd good game doesn't change the fact the guy's attitude stank. A complete waste of space.

If it is indeed Wedderburn, I don't think we should dismiss him just because the team he played for were poor. Dundee signing Greg Stewart from them last season didn't do them any harm.

IIRC he's a left-back but can also play at centre-half.

I see Aberdeen are also playing St Johnstone in pre-season. Wonder if we'll have a game against Saints as well. Maybe we should play in the middle of the two places to save the glass and play at that shinty ground by the A9 in Dalwhinnie or that pitch near the flyover not far from Motorgrill!

I see the Canadian international Andre Hainault is unattached. I'm sure he played at left-back for Ross County and looked a quality player.

​No he didn't, he was hardly in the game. Granted the guy must have some ability, but his attitude leaves a lot to be desired. He must be one of the poorest players we've had effort-wise since Philip Roberts. I also don't buy this argument that it all comes down to fitness. Edward Ofere, even by the end of the season, still didn't look fully fit but at least you could tell he was trying. I don't see that effort and drive whenever Kink plays whatsoever. If you look at Kink's past as well, as well as the same criticisms being aimed at him at Middlesbrough, he's had a heck of a lot of clubs. I think there's a few things you could read into that.
