Team for Aberdeen
Some people want to keep Aaron Doran at left wing? Good grief...

Development League info. (2014/15)
He was playing through the middle mainly but did pull wide from time to time. Very fast and tricky by the looks of things.

Development League info. (2014/15)
I was there last night. Thought Vincent, Polworth and Sutherland were reasonable enough, as was the number 7 who looks about 4"9! Can't say I was overly impressed by Tarmo Kink though.

The formation wasn't the problem per se, it was the fact we flooded the midfield and then hoofed over it towards Watkins' direction. I applaud Hughes for trying something different, but we were far too kick and rush today. We also need to look at what Christie's brings to the team recently. Did nothing today and hasn't done for a few weeks. Time to get Ross back in IMO.

Disappointed to have lost Ryan Christie to County. He's played well for us since coming into the first team and I wish him all the best on his move to County and attempting to help keep them in the Premiership.- Replacement Striker?
Seemingly Kink turned down Rapid Bucharest and CSKA Sofia to come here.- Semi Final Venue
I have to agree with those saying that a smaller crowd is actually more preferable for general atmosphere and things of that nature. I didn't notice it quite so much at the League Cup Final, because it wasn't *that* big a crowd as finals go, but I do recollect a Ross County fan talking about their experience of their crowd the time they got to the Scottish Cup Final. Seemingly the whole experience was very disappointing. The crowd was full of Big Time Billys constantly asking things like "Who's that number 5?" etc. and who promptly left en masse as soon as Dundee United took the lead. To be quite honest, should we get to the final, I'd like some way of keeping the seasonal ticket holders/regular fans together and give them priority to the ticketing, so that they at least can bellow out as one, as opposed to being broken up across the stand. We - the people reading this and those who have season tickets and/or attend games regularly should be given priority. Not the big game dandies.- How many nationalities have played at the TCS
Actually it's been archived! The last post was 2011 or something last I checked.- How many nationalities have played at the TCS
He's certainly faced ICT in some capacity, the match I found was from the season before (I think). I was going to add Ofere and Kink to the other nationalities thread, but sadly it's been locked!- How many nationalities have played at the TCS
Aldin El-Zubaidi - Hamilton Academical U20s - Iraq- Summer football
Something along those lines yes. I'm sure Euro 2008 only had three SPL players at it (one of which being ours!).- Summer football
Which Scotland now never qualify for and only a handful of players who play in Scotland will participate in. Bigger countries than ours have managed to compete in the World Cup and other things while having a summer league, so it's an argument that doesn't wash with me.- Scottish Cup 2015 - Semi-finals
I hope he maintains his dignity.- PITCH INSPECTION GAME OFF
The position of the ground makes drainage difficult at certain times (tides). Another reason why the stadium has been detrimental to the club over the years.- Shifty Ciftci
Potentially excellent news for us. Dundee United have a far better chance of winning with Cifti in there side than without him and I'd far rather play United in the semi-final or final than Celtic.- Great Britain Team
- Replacement Striker?
Not a new striker, but I did notice this interesting line on Over The Bridge just now. If that's his attitude, I don't want him back!- Do You Want County Relegated ?
One of those sneaky ICT 'dump dwellers' must've pulled the modem out!- Contract Situation
Where have I said I don't want Polworth retained? I said I was surprised he was being retained, considering he hasn't made a start in months and his appearances off the a bench which he now sometimes fails to make are becoming more and more sporadic. Will he get a chance now though? He's had a couple of decent games yes, but by the same token he's had a couple of shockers and with more players brought in now, one would presume he's now further down the pecking order. A player of that age needs to be playing and should we stay injury free, chances will become more and more limited for him. Maybe signing him up and sending him out on loan to a Division One side, would be the best option.- Site Updates
- Contract Situation
Maybe the general consensus is that Richie Foran won't be back soon and having Polworth and Horner would be decent enough to come into the squad if Richie is unavailable but also as you say squad depth is quite important too for european football. I wonder if it suggests that talks with Nick Ross have stalled. He was going to be the next one to open talks seemingly and doesn't appear on the list. It could possibly give credence to the rumour that James Vincent would be leaving at the end of the season as well.- Contract Situation
Very pleased that it looks like Raven and Watkins are sticking around and pleased that Devine could be as well. I'm surprised Polworth and Horner are being retained though. Presumably Hughes has one eye on Europe and thus the likelihood of needing a bigger squad. - Christie call up...
