  1. They should close this fecking abhoration down now.... What a pathetic waste of tax payers money... To add insult to injury they are now even squabbling over free transport and demanding that the council provide it. I have no objection at all to any parents who want their children to learn the gaelic language. But why the feck do they think that we tax payers should stump up and pay for it???????
  2. Full story here
  3. Bob : If the Good Lord had intended us to have fibreglass canoes or boats, He'd have grown fibreglass trees.
  4. It's absolutely true Bob.... She has already owned up and is promising to repay the costs of these porn movies. We appear now to be governed by the lowest of the low, the very dreggs of society.. What are you doing in Galway? You're not by any chance representing an Indian tribe of native Americans trying to recapture a canoe? see here
  5. He did damage his shoulder quite badly and was told there was a risk of permanent damage if he carried on playing. He might still be taking a risk playing now. Every player/manager has to take a decision at some stage in their career as to when they should hang up their boots... It probably made sense for him at that time to call it a day at that time. Unfortunately his best days for us were as player/manager... he couldn't quite make that transition from player/manager to manager. He's not the first to discover the differences between coaching on the field, and coaching from the technical area. Dalgliesh and Souness experienced similar problems. Anyway... He's history now... I hope the Brew boo boys enjoyed their day yesterday. I suppose for some of them that's what football's all about.
  6. Inclined to plump for the last one there, Stan.... but he did get his come-uppance at the last election which I hope taught him something. What about the latest expenses fiddling scandal? Jacquie Smith, having just been found out for falsley claiming allowances for her second home, has now been found out again for allowing her husband's insatiable appetite for porn films, to also form part of her expense claims. That is just utterly obscene - the expense claim I mean - not the porn films.. Come to think of it if I was married to Ms Smith I would probably watch a lot of porn as well...
  7. Good one!!!!!! :thumb04: :018: ;)
  8. I think it is more likely to hinder us. Mark Howard is a superb keeper who will be very grateful for his recall to the 1st team Most of the Midden fans prefer Howard to Smith. He was dropped in favour of Smith because of his reluctance to sign a new contract last January.
  9. Mallard...!! That's the one - I knew it had something to do with ducks. I'll be there from about 2pm... It'll be a change to watch a game without biting my nails... Also looking forward to seeing Brewster the player again... If he had selected himself to play for Caley in the last few games he was in charge... He might just have managed to save his position. Who should we be looking out for in the dark blue H/Dee?

  11. 12.15 fae Sneck , feel free to join us JB,pitch inspection at 08.30 Are you meeting up in that pub... the Daffy Duck or whatever it's called?
  12. Gotta funny feeling H/Dee will be there... I'm thinking about it.... weather permitting.
  13. No offence taken Sorted... Your right - football is a strange game and we punters are certainly fickle. I didn't think the re-appointment of Brewster was a good idea at the time, but I was very impressed by the complete transformation in the team's form way back then. Having said that I was as keen for a change as anyone else when we hit the bottom of the table with Brewster apparently clueless as to how matters could be turned around. There was strong evidence to suggest he'd lost the players' respect, and when that happens there can only be one outcome. Hopefully TB & MM will steady the ship again after the Falkirk debacle and and that we will now see a more settled side capable of producing some consistency with their results over the next few games.
  14. Well spotted Sorted.... Thanks very much.
  15. How do you know? Could it be yours? There is a distinct resemblance....
  16. Against Iceland you mean?
  17. Surprising how often Pounds and Euros get mixed up!
  18. Does he have any interest in playing in Scotland, Stevico?
  19. Good answer !! Thanks John.... I hope TB is reading this!!
  20. Hi John Good to see you back on here again.... this website has been suffering from depression ever since the Falkirk game... What did you think of that one? Can Caley pick themselves up again and steer clear of relegation or has the Butcher bubble now burst?
  21. That's what I like about Scotty.... His glass is always half full...
  22. Fraser Tokely Magics Munro McBain Proctor Morais Black Foran Eric Imrie Disagree with Rinomac re Proctor...He did win us a penalty against Rangers by "drifting infield"
  23. Well.... It's not unreasonable.
  24. It's a toss up now between Falkirk and us.... I just hope goal difference doesn't come into it.
  25. He's obviously leading a double life.... Which is two more than anyone thought he had!!
