INTERNUTTER'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Will Eliza be there..? Will she be bringing her coffee...?

Team for Hearts game
Good post, Clach.... A point from Tynecastle on Saturday certainly would be an excellent result for ICT.... I'm also quite sure CB will be dinning that into them for the rest of the week. One aspect of Brew's management that impresses me is his refusal to get carried away - despite some recent unbelievable results. I'll look out for you in the Scotsman's bar (Cockburn St) - I'll be meeting up with an old mate in there, who's got a couple of tickets for this one - unfortunately he's a jambo - but never mind - beggars can't be choosers...!! Whatever the outcome on Saturday - this one has the makings of being another classic... :022:

mcguire
Have I missed something..? I thought it was McGuire who's foot the ball bobbled over, which left Proctor with no other option than to bring Skippy down.... Otherwise I thought he had a good game....

Michael Frasers save
That save will be right up there alongside the Gordon Bank's save from Pele in the 1970 World Cup Finals.. :014: Sadly there are probably only a few still alive today who'll remember that one... :018: Gringo..? :023:

ICT V Celtic : Matchday Thread
You'll just have to come home more often Scotty, pay your money and plonk your bum on a seat... I thought Setanta could now be received in Canada and the US.... :024:

The Brewster Effect...
I know for a fact they were mightily relieved not to see Zibi.... :003:

The Brewster Effect...
Spot on... He knew he was coming back to a great bunch of guys here who would respond well to his style of management, in which the emphasis is on fitness and hard graft. It hasn't taken long for his methods to start bearing fruit. His interviews with the press also impressed me yesterday - he's got his feet very much on the ground and is not going to get carried away with ICT now demonstrating what they are capable of. He is on record as saying he hopes to be here for the long haul and I for one, will be fascinated to see just how far he can take this team... Unfortunately lack of support from around this area isn't going to help his cause.... Hopefully success will encourage more to get behind him & the team, rather than head for Glasgow every other Saturday/Sunday I know a family of Polish people - mum, dad and three kids, who were at the game and cheering like mad for Caley yesterday - this despite the fact that Celtic have certain Polish connections. Lets hope this might turn into a trend that will gather some momentum...

Wonder when we'll get an ICT TV channel on Setanta....!! :023:

Gordon Strachan
Well of course Strachan's never really been a "Celtic person" - whatever that means - I think it has something to do with what kind of school you went to.... Unfortunately I can go back so far I can remember a time when Jock Stein was never completely accepted by their entire support despite the fact he was an ex-player... 9 consecutive league titles and a European Cup win however, did make many of them turn a blind eye to the fact that big Jock was a staunch protestant.

Black's behaviour
I seem to mind it was a Saturday game at Dunfermline, early last season - pretty sure it finished 0 : 0. Blackie was having a great game, but did get booked after tangling wth Jim Hamilton, which obviously got CC worried and led to him coming off with about 20 mins to go... He did rip his shirt off in that one....

Team for Hearts game
Is McGuire likely to move on before Saturday?

Black's behaviour
First an English lesson - Now - geography.... Quote : p.s. East Lothian is about 12mls from Edinburgh Depends what part of East Lothian, Gillian.... :018: Also... Don't think there is any lack of encouragement for Blackie lately... Apart from the usual suspect nit-pickers....

Moaning Fans
There's also the rather distressing fact that Fraser's run of clean sheets came to a sickening end.... :020:

Michael Frasers save
Makes you realise that a problem is looming for Brewster in as much as just how do you hold on to players of the calibre of Fraser, Proctor, McGuire, Munro, Black, Cowie, and Rankin, etc, etc.....?

Black's behaviour
She must have been some teacher.... Isn't "with" a preposition..? :024:

Poll : Was it a penalty?
I thought it was more like obstruction and should have resulted in an indirect free kick from the edge of the 6 yard box... Come to think about it is a long time since I've seen such a decision given... Maybe someone can enlighten me here.... has there been a change in the rules regards obstructing an opponent..? :024:

Black's behaviour
More money, bigger crowds, better chance of playing in Europe plus Edinburgh has nicer Christmas lights than Inverness. I must admit I hadn't thought about the Christmas lights.... :024:

Black's behaviour
Can't understand why a move to either of the Embra numpty teams should appeal to him so much.... If ICT can build on it's current success and strengthen the squad during January, we could very well finish this season above Hibs & Hearts..... :018:

Atmosphere Today
The atmosphere in the North Stand probably had a lot to do with Eliza's coffee... :022:

Should Tokely just walk back into the team??
I disagree... I would expect to see Proctor back in the right back slot, once he's served his 1 match ban....

The Brewster Effect...
Brewster deserves a thread of his own - not just for today - but for the dramatic manner in which he has turned ICT fortunes round since his re-appointment. He's managed to get that spirit back into the side again - they all work their socks off supporting each other now in a manner that was totally absent at the start of the season. He's found a way of best utilising Niculae's undoubted skills... Thankfully he's re-introduced Rankin to the side. He has also adopted a much more thoughtful approach to substitutions. Whether you were for or against his re-appointment to ICT you have to surely acknowledge the fact that he has transformed this football team... Long may his reign here continue.... :022:
