Have to agree with that. The pub session was brilliant. It was great to meet up with so many of the regular contributors to this website, and put faces to names like King Beastie, CaleyStan, Alternative Maryhill, Naelifts...to name but a few. Always good craic of course with IHE, the Mantis, DJS, Caley100 and TM4TJ... Great too, to hear 10 second snatches of all Mannie's favourite CD tracks in the CaleyD bus.... I agree it would have been boring to have been subjected to much more than that. This was a great day out... Would I do it again? Absolutely - but only on condition that I wouldn't have to watch another match like that again...

Very interesting comment that 12th Man... I just heard today about someone who got done for doing 70MPH in one of these overtaking lane sections... What's the point in having these lanes if everyone's doing 60mph anyway.

It depends, they used to travel all the time but for the last year they only travel down on the day of the game Surely.... as IvyLeague says for a game of this importance they wouldn't want a 4 hour bus journey on the day of the match... Or might they be flying to Glasgow?

You can guarantee there'll be a good few of us from the south in carloads and off the train, but can anybody say if any buses are coming? The official supporters buses usually stop farther up the road for a break. Minibus is definitely going there...17(ish) of us. I'll be phoning Chambers tomorrow to let them know about us, and I defy any hangers on to try and get between me and the buffet :thumb04: Perish the thought...!!

Take it you've never been to the Caley Club Johnboy I will say. however, there's a lot on offer so make the most of it guys. Never eaten there Alex... Not been a member for long... Don't know if it's fair to compare club prices with pub/restaurant prices.... The Snowgoose is a good place to eat (and drink) but a plate of fish & chips there will set you back at least a tenner.... Are you going to make it to Chambers Bar ?
