Barry Ferguson could be a key man today... He's scored some terrific goals for Rangers, but I can't think of many for Scotland - Remember our first league game this season..? He destroyed us that day... If he scores one more this afternoon I'll almost forgive him for that... :014:

THE INVERNESS COURIER Court report... Johndo Mackenzie, an unemployed hospital porter, from Chorley, Lancashire was today sentenced to 40 hours community service at Inverness Sheriff Court after admitting being drunk and disorderly at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Saturday September 22nd. The sentence was later reduced to 20 hours community service after a strenous appeal by the community....

That's right... what he was trying to say was that Rossco's one of the nicest guys in the game, and this was nothing more than a minor and uncharacteristic misdemeanour... He went on to try and say he really loves Rossco dearly..... :014:

On the radio he said he (Tokely) was completely out of order - he let his team-mates down, he let the supporters down, he let himself down... From memory I'm pretty sure he also described him as a disgrace.... I kind of formed the opinion he wasn't best pleased with him... :023:

Re-reading this thread is fascinating reading indeed.... I wonder if some of those who contributed to it, might re-read it - and consider if their comments were well judged... Some clearly thought Marius would score an average of about three goals a game, before moving on to Man Utd or Arsenal...!! I would also suggest CaleyD's fears, quoted above, have proved to be quite well founded.....

The success Brew enjoyed early on had more to do with his playing skills than his managerial skills... that coupled with an ability to motivate those around him whilst on the pitch... It would probably be fair to suggest the Dons are missing him on the field just about as much as we are....

Nice to have a weekend away from ICT and all its problems.... Do Scotland have a realistic chance on Saturday or will it end in a glorious defeat - 90 mins of solid pressure with the Scots hitting the woodwork on several occasions and denied a couple of stonewall penalties... only for Italy to score after a Craig Gordon fumble during one of Italy's few attacks....? I think they'll make it... Who would have given them a cat in ****'s chance of beating the frogs home & away..? Predictions and scores here please.....
