  1. This qualified and experienced man comes on here to spout this pathetic drivel, in an attempt to justify the board's actions, and yet hides behind the anonimity of a feckin pseudonym....
  2. Agreed - But how do they find a player of Dods's calibre in the space of around 5 days...?
  3. I wasn't there today - playing golf.... I'm interested to read the comments about Dods.... How the **** is Brewster going to get the backing of our support, taking into consideration we have been utterly dire since Dods left for DUFC and will probably remain so until a suitable replacement for him is found.... I'll be very interested to see and hear just how he proposes to deal with that...... given that he was instrumental in paving the way for Dods's transfer to DUFC....
  4. I just wanted to see this contribution, which I'm quite sure has come from one of our directors, displayed at the top of a post once again, in an attempt to ensure that more of the Caley online internutters can see for themselves, the calibre of some of those who are involved in the running of this football club.... The so called "qualified and experienced men" Who the F do they think they are...? Quote.... Our Vice-Chairman, Graham Bennett, has been 110% behind ICT from day one. Taking the person opinions of him as an individual aside, if we look at the positives - 1. When the other managers over the years have left the club over the years, usually for a bigger salary, he has been here, carrying on with business as usual. No mean task, in particular with something as emmotive and passionate as football. 2. Alan Savage knows exactly what he is doing, afterall, his background is personnel and he has a proven record of making the right choices. 3. Do we think for one minute that the Board have NOT considered all the options? They know that, initially, one of the hardest parts of the recruitment process is to sell the Highlands and the transport logistics. They are fully aware of the risk of going back and also the risk of 'picking a Wild Card' 4. The Board are made up of human beings, we make mistakes but we also are capable of making excellent moves too. Let's reflect on the good that the Board has done over the years, measuring not just in monetary terms, but in media coverage, growth and excellent highlights for, historically, a very young club. 5. Finally, it is was hard for CC to leave, knowing he would be under the spotlight for atleast a couple of weeks. AND, I think it is also very difficult for Brewster to through his hat back in the ring. Afterall, he knows more than anyone the fans will have their reservations. I am sure that his stint at DUFC and at Aberdeen will have wisened him. Lets support the choice made by qualified and experienced men. Yeap - A thought-provoking post from a qualified and experienced man.... :029:
  5. Might actually be a grain of truth in that one......
  6. Well I almost believe - just need to see some decent performances and results now :014:
  7. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :015: :015: :015: :015:
  8. I wouldn't argue with that 12th man..... Bit I will say the manner in which Brewster was appointed doesn't smell too good..... :rolleyes02:
  9. So.... if true it will cost us a fortune if we are staring relegation in the face around Christmas time... and have to bring in someone else......
  10. To be honest I'm not really all that bothered about Brewster back in charge - I sincerely hope he manages to turn things round... I certainly have no intentions of taking my support elsewhere.... It is just the whole manner of the selection process that completely stinks...
  11. It wasn't just Warnock that created this nasty situation.... There were other potentially excellent candidates out there who were completely ignored because somebody in the club decided that Brewster was the man for the job... no pun intended... I think we should be told who made that decision. I lost an hour of my life last wednesday night by attending that meeting with the supporters trust, earnestly thinking I was going to be involved in a discussion with the board as to who should succeed Christie, not realising that the appointment had more or less already been made.... What a feckin joke.... :020:
  12. Interesting post L_G.... Were you sittting in on the interviews..? Sorry - Interview..?
  13. Interesting.... There were still plenty of other candidates who could have, and should have at least been interviewed.....
  14. Agreed.... I'd guess that will be the Highland Transport guy.....
  15. Probably enough material there for an entire conference..... :023: :023: You'll be up all feckin night..... :rolleyes02:
  16. It's reminiscent of the last throes of the Tony Blair government.... :029:
  17. That slip was so obvious I thought it had to be you....
  18. Bennett was adamant that Parky would be retained by the club in some shape or form, and the new guy, sorry Brewster, would just have to accept that.... Have you looked at the "Support the board" thread...?
  19. What... in this remote hole..? I haven't seen him in the Heathmount for a while..... :014:
  20. Yngwie.... How come our geographic remoteness hasn't deterred Craig Brewster from returning here..?
  21. I relocated to Inverness from the central belt five years ago, and have experienced no difficulty what-so-ever in getting around Scotland and the UK.... The quality of life here is so much higher than many places throughout the UK.... I do believe one of the applicants for the vacant managers position, a certain Mr Neil Warnock from Sheffield, during a recent visit to this area, expressed much satisfaction with Inverness and the surrounding area, and indicated it would be a really nice area in which to live. Could you comment on that..... Or are you the Immortal Howden Ender doing yet another elaborate wind up...?
  22. So is this it..? The official board response... Qualified and experienced men..? Scotty - Who is this person..?
  23. Can you explain what you mean regards the Highlands and the transport logistics please?
  24. Yeah - Thanks Mr Savage.... :023:
  25. It's becoming pretty obvious now that all those who favoured the return of Brewster to ICT are perfectly happy with the manner in which he was re-appointed. I would have been happy to see Brewster considered and interviewed for the post, but wouldn't it have made much more sense to explore all the other options open to the club? Yngwie.... Discretion is all very well to protect those who might have preferred their employers not to know of possible interest in this post, but these kind of secret deals very often backfire and get you found out.... Just ask Tony Blair....
