County sack McStay - Calderwood in.
Good to see JC's appointed his son as his assistant - thus maintaining that grand old Dingwall tradition of keeping everything in the family.

FAO George Fraser
My response to that would be that TB doesn't think it is in ICT's interest. Kind of boils down to a case of who's opinion you respect or agree most with.

FAO George Fraser
I wouldn't say PMF has instigated a worthless thread. What would be your preferred form of SPL reconstruction? Or, to put it another way which approach do you think our club should favour? That proposed by TB, which has been well documented or the one that now appears to have found favour by GF - and of course, our largest shareholder.

10 team SPL marches on
Listening to George Fraser on R. Scotland just now sounds like he's more than happy to go with the flow towards 10 - 12 set-up. Shame that TB couldn't have attended this meeting.

Reporting Scotland have announced they'll have a report on today's meeting at 4.30PM.

WHAT DO WE THINK OF AARON DORAN SO FAR
Hi Pop Doran... Yer boy is doing a great job here, and will be our match-winner when we play Celtic - maybe even in the cup as well. Johnny Foxes is the place in Inverness for a decent pint of Guiness - plus you'll probably meet half his team-mates in there too!

Shane...
I thought Shane did ok today and more than justified his selection. I agree his physical presence would be better deployed in a more central role, but given our depleted squad at the moment TB's options are somewhat limited.

ICT -V- St Johnstone : Matchday Thread
Marvellous win today and a priceless 3 points given our severely depleted squad. Great team effort, the commitment and never say die attitude from all the players was spot on. Two suspensions have now been served and with players like Hayes, Shinnie and Ross close to returning from injury, a first ever SPL Top 6 finish is still a very realistic target for ICT.

Team for Tractormen
You're right. They were better last week after they switched sides.

------------------------ Esson------------------------------ Duff-----------Tokely----------Hogg----- -----------Proctor Odhiambo------Cox--------Duncan--------- -----Doran -------------------------Foran----------------------------- -------------------------Rooney----------------------------- Subs- Tuffey, Innes, Blumenshtein, Sutherland, MacDonald, Polworth TB saying in this morning's P&J he can't afford the luxury of playing Foran alonsgide Rooney. I think that's a mistake. Given our defensive frailties we should be set up for all out attack.

Perth Preview & Report
Good preview Mannie even if you're a tad pessimistic with your predictions for the outcome. I think our attitude and commitment will see us pick up at least 1 point, if not all 3. I would certainly be confidently predicting a win if we had a fully fit Jonny Hayes in our line-up. Our recent run of poor results have a lot to do with his injury woes.

Down a place
I agree.... that result hasn't done us any favours.

To all Perth based Caley Jags
Is that where George O'Boyle got done for snorting a glass of coke? (or something)

Dundee saved
Yeah..... We can see that, H/Dee....

I've got a bank manager who sounds exactly like you.

Player Suspensions
Quote from the P&J 1st of Feb : Butcher said: ?Chris gives us great competition. ?He is available to play against Dundee United and he is not cup-tied either as he was not involved with Hibs. ?The board have been fantastic to allow me to bring in three new players. ?It is nice to look around and see new faces in the dressing-room. ?The players have come from different clubs north and south of the border and it freshens everything up which is good. ?We have Grant Munro out suspended for three games and Ross Tokely out for two games and we have others who are near suspension.

Player Suspensions
I'm pretty sure that Rossco will still be suspended for the St Johnstone game.

St Mirren Preview & Report
Great preview - but it should be pointed out that Jeremy Beadle is hardly likely to pop up and taunt TB over his pizza. He died just over 3 years ago. (RIP and all that)

tuffy starts for northern ireland v scotland
You've got to feel sorry for JT.... Could be on the wrong end of an embarrasing scoreline.

tuffy starts for northern ireland v scotland
He's certainly on the rack.... Excellent performance from Scotland - in fact the best I've seen for years. They should have been at least 3 up at half time.

Team for St Mirren
Assuming Nick Ross is fit, I like the look of that. If he is ruled out I'd bring in young MacDonald, who I thought looked good for the ten minutes, or so he played on Saturday.

Happy Birthday IHE
As far as our support is concerned, IHE is an ICT legend. Something you'll never be....

merged : 6th Round (QF) draw
I'd prefer to see us get Rangers next but as 10 man Celtic outplayed Rangers for most of today's game, I expect it will be the Hoops. Hopefully by the time it comes around, our new boys will be well established in the side - they certainly all got off to decent start yesterday, and if we can add a "fit and raring to go" Jonny Hayes back into the side, you would have to fancy our chances against anyone.

Bit disrespectful to Dunfermline is it not Good spot, Alex.... That's probably how he beat you to the post.
