  1. What exactly do you mean by that? :024: I think he means that from now on he will regularly be going there , though I could be wrong . So you are surmising that he will not be coming up here regularly, or attending many of our away games regularly?

  3. Teacher asks the kids in her class what their daddies do for a living. One says "he's a plumber", another says "he's a fireman". And they all answer in turn "he's a doctor", "he's a bank manager", "he's a mechanic", etc. until one little boy says "my daddy works in a gay bar as a stripper, if he gets a good tip he shows them everything, if he gets a really good tip he goes into the back room with them and stays all night. Then he comes home at 8 o'clock and goes to bed. The teacher is horrified and hastily changes the subject. After the class she takes the boy to one side and asks "Does your daddy REALLY do that?" "Naa," the little boy replied. "He plays for England really, but I was too embarrassed to say."
  4. He was a lovely guy.... Such a credit to the game of snooker. And now the dramatic fall... In 1986, the Belfast man was asked to provide a urine sample for a random drugs test following his UK Championship match against Mike Hallett and then ended up head-butting tournament director Paul Hatherell. KEY BAD MOMENTS 1986: Headbutted snooker official 1990: Threatened to have Dennis Taylor shot 1990: Abused referee He subsequently found himself fined ?12,000 and also banned from five tournaments. At the 1990 World Cup - snooker not football - he threatened to have fellow Ireland team-mate Dennis Taylor shot and followed that up by abusing referee John Spencer. As if that did not land him in enough hot water he then proceeded to punch the tournament director at the World Championship which led to a season ban.
  5. HT: 0-0 FT: 2-0 1st scorer ICT: Odhiambo 1st scorer Opp: Crowd - 2995
  6. Excellent report, Gringo... I've given you a star for it! :022: A lot of food for thought too, regarding the facilities on offer at the Fleetwood Town ground.
  7. I wouldn't read much into this result. The time to judge them is when Hayes, Foran and Rooney are in the starting line-up.
  8. Oh dear.... Looks like the damage is already done, Scarlet :_shocked2:

  10. The box at the bottom left corner of any page. Change from "CTO" to "Default" By doing so, there's a very good chance you will delay the onset of cataract problems.

  12. I had a work colleague in Edinburgh who also had the name Donald Duck. Many years ago he fell foul of the Edinburgh constabulary by (allegedly) jumping a red traffic light. The police pulled him over for questioning, and when he told them his name, they cuffed him, and took him to the nearest police station for further questioning!
  13. I reckon Mark McGhee will be on his bike before the season starts. Tonight's friendly : Dunfermline 1 Aberdeen 0
  14. Beware of complacency on this forum, Renegade!
  15. Have they had rain all day there, like we've had here? What are the playing conditions like?
  16. Agreed.... It would make a win against the tics even more satisfying, and get our league campaign off to the perfect start. Why is this in other football?
  17. Good on you guys....Well done!!
  18. Have to agree with whoever it was on another thread, who said the previous format was more aesthetically pleasing. The use of such gaudy, bright red and blue colours make it look cheap and nasty to me. I'm now using the default display, which is a bit easier on the eye. Can't see any meaningful benefits with the new layout. The old one was first class, and to my way of thinking was not broken - did it really need fixing?
  19. Yeah.... Wot 'arry says.
  20. Are you seriously suggesting Hayes, Esson, Sanchez and Foran would have moved on if he (Foran) hadn't been made captain?
  21. Van the man, with this band would have blown Springsteen off the stage! See here
  22. I think this will prove to be a good decision by TB, and I'm quite sure Munro will happily accept it. Foran played a huge part in helping to generate the commitment the whole team showed in the second half of last season.
  23. We totally wiped out Motherwell in the cup tie, prior to the Killie Pie game. I think they were about 6th in the SPL at that time. I'm very confident of a Top Six spot this season... If they start the season with the same commitment they showed during the second half of last season they'll do very well in this league.
  24. I preferred the old site.
  25. He's probably thinking George Harrison.... It would be quite a coup if somebody could get him to perform again.
