  1. Good chance the title will be clinched a week on Wednesday (21st) when Dundee are away to Raith Rovers. I can see them dropping a point there, which will be good enough for us. Hope all of Edinburgh and Fife ICT will be at that one.... :D
  2. How much does he weigh, just as matter of interest? (Getting the hang of this now, Rig... :( )
  3. Because I genuinely don't know, nor do I care about the fate of Derek Adams. I can't quite understand why anyone would want to conduct a debate, or speculate on his future, on here. Please feel free to delete my post (and this one) if it has offended any sense of propriety you might have.
  4. Don't know....... Don't care.
  5. Of course not.... I'm sure they'll quite understand!
  6. Didn't our Tel win the SPL manager of the month for March last year? If not, he must have come close. I just feel an award like this can become a kiss of death. Let's save all the awards, plaudits, etc, for when we clinch the title in Ayr in a couple of weeks.

Now that would be a blow.... It's a pity we never seem to know who's suspended and who isn't, until about 5 minutes before kick-off. Couldn't the official site provide us with more info on that score? We have the luxury this week of not having any mid-week fixtures, and should benefit greatly from that. I'd be happy to go with the same line-up that started yesterday - barring suspensions. The Pars won't be a problem if we adopt our usual approach and hit them with everything but the kitchen sink. Panic not, fellow fans - this will be yet another case of men against boys.
  8. Maybe that's how these things start, Smee!
  9. I say this extract from A96's excellent post (above) should be written in 50 ft high letters of fire. The point is that most ICT fans will have nothing to do with the hate-filled venom that characterises the Old Firm divide. We are Highlanders and we are above that.
  10. Nobody should be awarded anything until promotion is a mathematical certainty...
  11. And some of these also suggested that ICT were destined to become a part-time club, and could even go out of business altogether. 3 months is a long time in football!
  12. I honestly can't remember the post I deleted. Was it something that might have been deemed offensive or insulting? Could be one of our little moderator friends removed it in the interests of good taste. Or maybe I was over-egging just how superior ICT are to Dundee in practically every department, and had second thoughts about the post in case it hurt your feelings.... again! B)
  13. I would have agreed with you on that a few weeks ago, but ICT have got men in their squad, not boys.... Even, and as you say, it is unlikely that it will go down to the final game, I'd still say we will win. They won't make the same mistakes as last year - not with men like, Foran, Tokely, Munro, Golabeck, Duncan, and icing on the cake with Rooney and Hayes. These guys just won't accept anything less than a win - no matter who they are playing. BTW, I'm very partial to 12 year old Balvennie Doublewood, as well as Glenfarclas! :(

    Don't forget the free sandwiches....
  15. This of course totally eclipses our neighbours result at Hamden today. :)
  16. Results seem to be going our way again - Dundee struggling against PT. The main thing is we appear to be back in the driving seat.
  17. Amazing how may different ways there are of spelling.... ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONEY
  18. Yesssssssssssssssss!!!! ROOOOOOOOONEY!!!!
  19. It's still early days.... Raith Rovers took the lead against us, and look what we did to them.
  20. What an incredible achievement it would be for County to lift the trophy having beaten Hibs, Celtic and then Dundee Utd. I hope they do it - and I hope they make 2nd place in the league as well.
  21. Maybe this result will give our boys a wee bit of added inspiration against QoS... If ever there was a case for extending the SPL this was it. Highland football is back in the top flight and is here to stay. :025:
  22. Have to say this was an even bigger result than our one. Fantastic performance... They have to be favourites to win the cup now.
  23. 0-0 at half time. County still well in this game....
  24. I hope their dream takes them all the way to the final... They'll always play second fiddle to to their more illustrious neighbours of course, but they're still a good advert for Highland football and I hope they join us in the SPL next season.... Sorry.... not next season... the season after next.
