Kyle Allison
Just what I was thinking YaBoy... That's why I'm highlighting this post from RowdyBey : Good post, i'd be happy to explain. I was on holiday with my friends a month or so ago, walking down the street wearing my caley top. When a boy stoped me and said he played for "that team", i asked his name and he said Kyle Allison. He then carried on 2 say he was a massive county fan, and then rubbing in that we (the club who pays his wages) had just been relegated. He then started becoming pretty violent so my friends and aye walked off. Then last weekend in town he spotted my friends and confronted them trying 2 find out my name because he wants 2 "beat me up" . I didnt start the song yesterday, it was friends that i'd told the story 2 but i will admit i joined in. Some people are taking it to seriously, he and Shane just laughed it off anyway. I don't think it should be difficult to sort this one out... I'd hate to think all this sh1tt was going to crop up every feckin week.

Highlights?
Yeah... Looked like a good game. Shame they didn't show the delirious away support when Cox scored. Great goal!!

Did you read RowdyBey #75? If there is any truth in that one somebody should ask Allison for an explanation. This needs to be sorted out.

Certainly sounds like somebody (TB?) should be have a wee word with him, and try and get this sorted out.

Sorry for going off topic but I can mind taking my son to his first ever game, when he was around 5 or 6 years old.... Halfway through the game, without thinking, I realised I was swearing at a refereeing decision... I turned to my son and apologised.... I told him I shouldn't be using words like that... I's a long time ago now, but I've never forgotten his reply.... "Aww feck dad... Don't worry about me"

Will we go straight back up?
6 points from our next two games and then a minimum of 1 from Dumpdee will almost certainly see us sitting on our own, at the top of the table. I think I could get to like this league!

Kyle Allison
There must be more to it than this.... It's not like Allison's the first player we ever signed with a County connection.

It is appalling... It's enough to put you off going to matches... Time someone weeded these idiots out.

Will we go straight back up?
I'm starting to believe.... If we had had a Dargo or a Wyness (from a few years back) up front today, we'd probably have won by two or three goals.. Cox, Eagle, Foran and Bulvitis have the appearance of players we can build a new team around.... Cox, especially could prove to be an ever better player than Blackie. Early days of course, but there could be exciting times ahead for ICT this season....

It was a fabby result today... Where were you?

Dunfermline V ICT : Matchday Thread
Absolutely brilliant result!!!! What a promising start to 2009/10.... Lets hope we can build on it. If we could only get hold of a decent striker.... Foran coming back from injury and suspension will certainly help us, but we could still do with at least 1 more powerful figure up front. I can't see any future for either Barrowman or Rooney with ICT now...

Dunfermline V ICT : Matchday Thread
Heard the half-time report on Radio Scotland - Lionel coming closest to scoring after a fantastic run and shot. Rooney's missed another couple of sitters... Now if we'd done what I suggested on another thread, and played Lionel had been upfront in place of Rooney, (Hastings or McBain at LB) we would have had this game won by now... As it is Lionel will probably lose possession on his own 18 yard line, near the end and Pars will score to win the game. Why does no one listen to me?

Supporters Bus?
So has the bus gone off without a DJ? I hope that our stadium announcer/driver will be miked up, and providing a commentary in his usual dulcet tones, on everything and anything of interest on the A9/M90. Gotta say things like that - otherwise he's liable to go into a mammoth sulk. :014:

shop and ticket office to go
With just a part-time staff? I can't see any good reason why not.

shop and ticket office to go
I'd say the wall of silence from anyone connected with the club regarding this matter, should be taken as confirmation.
-
shop and ticket office to go
Couldn't it have been kept open on a part-time basis?

Dumbfarmlife
I heard it said a while ago that some big guy wearing a baseball cap had kicked him in the groin area.

Very sad if true.... Always a friendly, helpful bunch in there.

If Esson is still carrying an injury (the reason he was on bench last week) then there's every chance we'll have Allison in goal. is there a thrid choice at the club? or would Esson be listed as a sub even though he is injured (ive seen this happen before with clubs where an injured player is listed amongst subs) I suspect CD's explanation will be the official line, Libero - better not question it - although I would be inclined to ask what happens if Allison picks up a serious injury inside the first minute and has to go off? Would Esson be fit enough to take his place?

Injuries and suspensions are going to make it tough for TB & co on Saturday, and the Pars tails are up at the moment... Sanchez and Rooney up front on their own won't get much change out the big guys in the Pars central defence.... Especially if our usual suspects will be attempting to punt long, high balls up to them. First league game of the season, and already it's assuming the proportions of a 6 pointer. If we finish the day 3 points ahead of the Pars, it would be a fantastic achievement for ICT... I think TB should go for broke here with this line up : Esson (Got a funny feeling TB will pick Allison) Proctor Bulvitis Munro Hastings or McBain Imrie Stratford Cox Eagle Sanchez Djebi-Zadi Controversial I know, but think about it....even if Lionel makes the odd mistake in an up front position it's unlikely to lead to a goal for the opposition. He's got a bit of pace, and he's very comfortable on the ball. He would be able to create so much more than Rooney in that area, who for me, is just too lightweight at this level. Saturday might just be the day when Lionel makes a name for himself in a positive sense for ICT!

scotland squad
He was on the bench for Scotland not so long ago....

To be honest i think he would struggle on the international stage. he gets ripped apart by the likes of mcgeady and davis so how is he going to fair against some of the best wingers in the world? Our last encounters with the OF gave us a 1-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox, and a 0-0 draw at home to Celtic. Can't remember him getting ripped apart on either of these occasions.

And Djebi-Zadi His time will come.... But sadly not for Scotland!

Game against Brora Rangers tonight
The club will probably announce it sometime next week.... How many times in the last couple of seasons have the club not had a report and the result up on the website within an hour or so of a game finishing (friendlies, league and cups)? I honestly don't know CD, but don't you think this fixture could have been announced prior to today (Tuesday) ?
