  1. I'm taking flak over on P'n'B for making that very point. Sophia can be so bitchy.
  2. I'm impressed. Definitely has potential.
  3. Another trek down the A9 just 3 days after Mothersmell, much to TB's disgust. This will be a tough test and I'll be very happy with 1 point. Controversial I know, but I think Rooney should be rested for this one, until he decides where his future lies. ..........Esson....... Tokely Innes Munro Shinnie Ross Duff Duncan Sanchez Foran .........Sutherland....... Subs : Tuffey, Proctor, Eric, Rooney, Blumenshtein
  4. Can't see it without Jonny Hayes back in the side. Had it been played on the date it was originally scheduled for, there is a very good chance he would have played. Sounds like Rangers might have found a wee bit of form again - I'd be delighted with a point on Tuesday night.
  5. Sounds like Rooney's got a lot on his mind just now. Suspect today will have been his last game for ICT.
  6. I'd prefer to see any surplus cash go towards a replacement striker in the short term.
  7. I know it affects the likes of Foxes and Hootenannies. I don't find it a problem. You've just got to make sure you are in a place you like by midnight.
  8. You know what they say if something sounds too good to be true.....
  9. 200k plus nish ive heard. I thought the Inter stuff was pretty bad, but that is really taking the p1ss. Or do you mean we give them the 200K?
  10. Yes.... Once we've signed a couple of Inter players on loan in exchange for Rooney.
  11. And he talked Rossco out of a move to Turkey!
  12. Looks likes we'll now be facing both Motherwell and Rangers without Jonny Hayes. Had the Rangers game been played as originally scheduled, there's every chance he would have been fit for that one. Very unfair.
  13. I agree it is important to the Scottish game that Dundee extricate themselves from the mess they have got themselves in through years of mismanagement. I wouldn't agree that ICT could just have easily found themselves in the same situation. Our BoD do come in for a lot stick from time to time, but they have done very well in the club's short history to get then where they are at the present moment.
  14. Hopefully we'll pick up our away form again on Saturday. It would be a massive 3 points.
  15. I shudder to think what he might be trying to pull.
  16. It might be hard on the Glasgow/central belt based away support, but if the SPL and/or Rangers won't reconsider, I think a boycott for this one would be in order.
  17. What did he say about Rooney?
  18. I 'll just bookmark this qoute for future reference JB! And no, I don't want a bottle of malt on the outcome OK, H/Dee.... I'll be happy to settle for a blend on this occasion. You of the un-refined palate.
  19. This is a draw that should see us progress smoothly and effortlessly into the last 8. I'm very happy that it's a home tie - at least there's not so much travelling involved.
  20. I can't get the link to the P&J story I pasted at the top of this page to work now.... For what it's worth, this was the story : Quote : Russians in ?100,000 bid for Rooney INVERNESS ATTACKER IS A WANTED MAN Published: 11/01/2011 RUSSIAN club Kuban Krasnodar have made a ?100,000 offer for Caley Thistle attacker Adam Rooney. The Press and Journal reported last week the Russians had made their approach for the free-scoring 22-year-old, a claim manager Terry Butcher swiftly rebuffed. Butcher labelled it as nonsense but a bid has now been lodged with the Scottish Premier League side. Caley Thistle are now pondering the six- figure sum for their leading scorer, who is out of contract at the end of the season. Rooney is believed to be interested in a Russian switch to follow in the footsteps of Aiden McGeady and Garry O?Connor by playing in the country. The former Ireland under-21 international, who has scored 14 times this season, is out of contract in the summer and free to talk to interested clubs. Newly-promoted Kuban Krasnodar ? managed by former Chelsea player Dan Petrescu ? want Rooney to lead their attack when their campaign begins in March. Rooney is on the radar of several clubs in Scotland and England, including League 1 club Huddersfield, while Swiss side Young Boys of Berne are also interested. The former Stoke City trainee has scored 11 times in the league and twice in the League Cup, having netted 26 times to help propel Caley Jags to the First Division title last season. 21. 100k according to the P&J Totally agree that this is very likely to be a bad move all round - He'd be much better advised to stay put for at least one more season, then have another look at his options.
