  1. Unless he's desperate to get away, (and I don't believe that is the case) he could do himself and the club a huge favour by signing the contract currently on offer. At the end of the season the club (and Adam) could indicate that they are open to offers. Under these circumstances I would expect the club would be looking for offers well in excess of of 500k.
  2. Okay,okay.... I'm clearly out-voted on Bloomers.... Maybe TB should give him another chance.... Maybe he'll prove me completely wrong and score a hat-trick. I'd be more than happy with a plate of humble pie. I just hope, no matter what the team is, no one will be under-estimating Hellgin, who will be up for this one. The last thing ICT need at the moment is an upset on Saturday with a draw - or worse.
  3. Think I know who you've got in mind there....
  4. Esson Duff Tokely Munro Golabeck Cox Duncan Sanchez Foran Ross Rooney Subs : Tuffey, McBain, Eric, Sutherland, Shinnie, Can't believe so many previous posters want to see Blumenshtein retain his place.
  5. Leaving Foran out for Blumenshtein yesterday wasn't exactly a huge success.
  6. Brilliant post, Naelifts! Please send a copy of that to the Perthshire Perisher, and to Chief Inspector Bob Plod of Perth & Kinross Constabulary.
  7. TB now saying in this morning's P&J that players will have to leave before more can be brought in. I don't think Blumenshtein is ever going to cut it here, despite being out with an injury for several weeks. I can't think of anyone else I would want to see move on - it's not like we've got a huge squad right now.
  8. Agree about Duncan, but totally disagree about Cox.
  9. True enough, Lizi.... But I think you'll find when he is back in the team, we might just start winning some games again. It's not just his contribution that makes ICT tick, it's the fact that he tends to bring out the best, and clearly inspires his team-mates - especially the likes of Rooney, who obviously sees much more of the ball when Jonny's around. When he's on form, fit and in the mood he gives the fans a lift as well. I was at the Hearts game btw, and I agree he did appear to have an off day that day but there was obviously something far wrong with him - he should not have started that game.
  10. Sound like Roy and Stuart Golabeck will play in this one. Listen here
  11. I think if you asked Foran and Rooney what was wrong with the team you might get the same answer! Those teams that have done well against us have paid particularly close attention to him, but even then, he is still a major handful. For me, he is definitely the lynchpin around which the team revolves. I don't think it is a coincidence that our recent slump in form began with, and is continuing with his absence. .
  12. There's not a hell of a lot wrong with the team - a fit, in form, and in the mood Jonny Hayes will soon see us picking up plenty of points again.
  13. Doesn't look like Blumenshtein's going to be the answer to any our problems. Did anyone hear if he was subbed at half-time because of an injury?
  14. Hard to bear.... especially after Eric's effort at the other end.
  15. Thank feck for Esson
  16. Sutherland on for Cox...
  17. Thank feck for Esson.
  18. 0-0 halftime.... I'll be happy enough if it stays that way.
  19. Thank feck for Esson...
  20. Both Foran and Duncan were disppointing in the last two home games. I haven't seen much from Gil to get excited about so far this season, but I hope he makes the most of his start today.
  21. Duncan and Foran dropped. Controversial.
  22. I understand he will be out for a while yet - his knee is the problem, and now requires surgery.
  23. Pretty much how I saw it, and for what it's worth he did get the MOM award.
  24. Naah.... A tad harsh methinks.... We did have a ten minute spell in the second half last night when we came close to equalising, and if we had we might have gone on to snatch a winner. It was the same in the Midden game which was very finely balanced up until the final ten minutes. We'll get over this setback - hopefully starting against St Johnstone on Sunday. An on form, and in the mood Hayes is a big miss, and the sooner he is fit again the better for us. It will be interesting to see who TB can bring in during the January window. I'm still confident of a top 6 finish this season
  25. I could be wrong here but I suspect Sutherland and Savage aren't on each others Xmas card list.
