  1. Actually disagree. The agent works for Graeme and not ICTand was merely doing his job by putting his client in the shop window. He didn't seem to say anything disparaging about our club. But the agent needs to remember that Graeme is under contract to ICT and therefore should not be touting a move to other clubs, in the media.
  2. Another strong team performance which fully deserved the 3 points. Marley Watkins is getting more influential each game and I would like to see him get tied to a longer deal. These are great day indeed, thank you Yogi and the team.
  3. Barry Wilson has now resigned but I cant's see SP getting the job.
  4. Has been one of our best players over the last 3 seasons or so and has got better and better. Will be very sorry to see him go when that happens but he has served us extremely well and will go with my best wishes. He can do much better than Aberdeen and I think there will be a number of clubs interested in him.
  5. Still savouring this great win today. The whole team performed well and the passing and movement was first class. So pleased for Mckay to get back in the goals.
  6. The whole team performed well and gave the most solid and consistent dispIay at home this season. There were a number of players who gave man of the match performances in addition to Watkins such as Tansey, Shinnie and Raven etc. The defence were really effective in shutting down United and the midfield controlled much of the play. A big 3 points and a nice way to finish the first quarter of games.
  7. Two defensive howlers today. If you score two away goals, we should be expecting a draw at worst.
  8. In regard to the upgrading of the Fort William to Mallaig road, I seem to recall that a big part of the upgrading was done prior to the SNP being in power; and other work was "sanctioned" by previous governments.
  9. Tremarco and Polworth in for Draper and Shinnie who are suspended. Ryan Christie on the bench.
  10. CAPTION COMPETITION Hey boss, is it spelt "LOOSER" or "LOSER"? Forever - in the top folder, and IN Our Shadows - in the bottom one.
  11. Signing Iain Stewart. The best £30k the club has ever spent.
  12. How to kill a crowd and atmosphere: move the game to a Sunday and have an early kick-off
  13. The more I watch the replays of Doran's goal, the better it gets. What a fantastic series of passes leading to Shinnie's through ball and then Doran's expert finish. This move was no fluke and had obviously been worked on in training. I think we can expect to see more of this in the coming months.
  14. My best memory of him was the comic "seething" reaction when we equalised to make it 3-3 in the cup tie at Dingwall.
  15. Stranraer a gaol up at the moment. Poor DA will come under intense pressure if they lose this one. But I'm sure he'll turn it around with his great managerial touch
  16. Richard Gough was exclusively revealed as a candidate by you if I remember correctly
  17. Another superb away victory. A great feeling to be back at the top of the league.
  18. Excellent win to give has a great start to the season. It's a good position to be in when you have players such as Watkins and Doran on the bench who can come on to make a big impact.
  19. A bit different from previous strips, I like it.
  20. In regard to either club getting financial backing on their own, the answer has to be be a resounding no. I saw at first hand the delaying tactics and downright hostility displayed by some Councilors and officials in its dealings with ICT over the £900k grant. It was a minor miracle that the club eventually got this funding and I have no doubt whatsoever that Caley or Thistle on its own would have had no chance of similar funding. ICT come up against considerable planning and funding challenges in its formation but theses challenges would have been many times more extreme for a single entity. In my opinion, the merger was the correct way forward and the success on and off the field is vindication of this difficult decision.
  21. Well, I suppose he can use his expertise of getting a relegated club promoted. That's if he's still the manager next season.
  22. They have a bigger stadium capacity and can therefore house a larger away support than us.
