  1. On official website here http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1353047,00.html
  2. I don't think anyone knows the truth anymore, I'm out of here. Does it look like Marius has done this off his own bat? All weekend the signs on some websites were that we had agreed a fee with the Germans, but we see Marius photo on the Dinamo website, yet nothing official from the club, I think he has done a runner to get back home despite the Germans being the highest bidder? Then again, what is the truth? Does anyone care anymore.
  3. By all accounts he has impressed. My only concern is that we all seem to like him as well, yet nobody on here has seen him play, so he is really an unknown quantity for all of us. The chappie Evans was also supposed to be decent, but failed to impress when up here on trial. Still, at least Rooney has scored a couple of goals in his games, so maybe he has something to offer us. The fact that he is keen to come up here makes this look like a done deal.
  4. Shame, still quite young as well. He was a very well respected politician in his day.
  5. The penny had dropped a long time before Dods had left. We have never replaced him, but thats for another thread. Look at the line up for yesterdays friendly game, some first choice defenders missing surely, no Grantie or Rossco and Hastings out of position. Fairly settled midfield and Barrowman drawing a blank is lso worrying. Starting Line Up Fraser Proctor, McGuire (Duff 70 mins), Hastings, Djebi-Zadi Cowie (Wilson 45 mins), Duncan (Gillespie 45 mins), Black (McBain 45 mins), Imrie (Vigurs 45 mins) Barrowman (Wood 55 mins), Rooney (McAllister (55 mins)
  6. Gringo, the accident did happen on a single carriageway section of the A9, approx 200 yards North of the Geman soldiers head in the rock face. This is maybe five or six hundred yards south of the Slochd summit. The road has traffic lights set up now due to the fire which engulfed the vehicles and has left the surface badly burnt. Sends a shiver up your spine when driving past it.
  7. The road itself is not the problem. It is relatively straight (Perth-Inverness section) with vision at any point being 400m and wide enough for four artics to sit side by side. Yet week in week out we still hear of fatalities or serious injuries on this road. Part time drivers hiring vehicles, foreigners, caravaners, people in a hurry yes the list is endless, but how the **** do people manage to crash on this road. To be honest, I believe carelessness is the biggest issue and it is costing lives. Take care and pay attention please.
  8. Bit of work to do on the defence methinks. Well done again Rory for the hat-trick. :clapping03:
  9. Caff was abysmal, he had a hand in both goals. First goal was a deep cross which Hart powered a header across goal slightly behind Winter, but he flicked it goalwards and Caff only succeeded in hoofing the spinning ball into the net from under the crossbar. Goal number two and up steps Caff again, this time letting a long clearance drop over his head in poor judgement error, and Higgins ran in behind him to slip the ball home. County almost paid for some slackness when Samuel scored from close in late on after Holmes won another header in the box but County held on when they really should have been on easy street. Pretty naff game with maybe 1500 fans attending, we will see how County do their arithmetic on this one. Golly and Hart played well for County and I was impressed with their number five again, the ginger fellow.
  10. Anyone crossing the bridge to take in our dear neighbours game today. See how our old stalwarts are getting on, Golly, Hart, McCulloch and Watt. Might go along and swell their coffers for the want of a better thing to do.
  11. it means this this (THING REFERRED TO) determiner, pronoun plural these used for a person, object, idea, etc. to show which one is referred to: Can you sign this form here for me? These books are too heavy for me to carry. INFORMAL We met this girl (= the girl I am going to tell you about) in the hotel. This is the one I want. What's this? Is this what you're looking for? What's this I hear about your moving to Scotland? Hope that clears this up.
  12. How far is it if you run :004:
  13. This thread is now one of the funnier theads on the site. Great post Wanderer, it made me chuckle out loudly :003: I am officially a happy clapper, I think :015: :clapping03: is it ok to use that term? What the **** was this thread about anyway.................oh yes Brewster Bashing tactics. Lets all just hope he gets it right on the day and his own players are up to speed.

    Hissy

Forever indebted to Hissy for that great goal at Clyde :clapping03:
  15. I have compared it GJ, is that good or bad then :017: Hunt always looked like a decent niggly annoying guy to play against. Different market places as well, the EPL paying grossly inflated prices for their products. ?400K for Marius in his last contracted year and given the way he played for us............probably a decent enough price if true.
  16. Grampian news have thrown their rumour into the hat suggesting the fee believed to be around ?400K for the signing of Marius to Dinamo Bucharest. Oh well, good luck to you Marius, some of your skills were a joy to behold, hope you make the world cup teams.
  17. Quite right, stamp out the weed. This law has been on the go for a year or so. You are not allowed to smoke in a vehicle used for work. He may well find out that his insurance company are interesred in this as well. "I am dumbfounded - the van is only insured for private use and to get me to and from work," added Mr Williams, from Llanafan, near Aberystwyth. I don't suppose he carries tressles/paint/brushes/rollers/trays etc in the rear of his private van. Had he been smoking in his own car then fine, but a commercial vehicle is off limits. Should the person have been driving for a national company, then his bosses would also be getting their collars felt, so no sympathy, pay up and stubb out.
  18. Todays score from Denmark, taken from the Official site. http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1350640,00.html PRE-SEASON RESULT We took on FC Nordsjaelland this afternoon in the closed doors game and like Tuesday night's fixture it ended 1-1 with the goal coming from striker Garry Wood. The game took place at the Farum Park complex where the Danish Superliga play their home games. We had the better of the first half but went in 0-0 at the break and in the second half FC Nordsjaelland were the better side and took the lead from a corner into the box which we should have dealt with better. Adam Rooney came on with 35 minutes left for play and Garry Wood also entered the fray 15 minutes later. It was the latter that drew us level, a Don Cowie cross towards the back post was knocked back across goal for Garry Wood to volley home from close range. Two minutes later we thought we had taken the lead when Rooney netted but his strike was ruled out for offside. Starting Line Up Esson Tokely, McGuire, Munro, Hastings Imrie, Duncan, Black, McBain Cowie Barrowman
  19. Yes you have, thats the second time in a few minutes
  20. I believe our old friend Bajram Fetai is on Nordsj?lland's books and they are still coached/managed by ex Celt Morten Wieghorst. 1-1 draw in the closed doors friendly, with Garry Wood scoring for ICT. see official site for info. http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1350640,00.html 4-4 draw with Herfolge on Saturday with Rory scoring a hat-trick after coming on as a sub in 55 mins, Rooney scoring again. see official site for report. http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1351978,00.html
