What I do know is that despite his frailties, on a good day he can gell the defence and middle and allows others to go forward. Still, winning without him is a bonus as those who played on Saturday did their prospects no harm..............well, apart from Rooney and Imrie. Shot ourselves in the foot by losing the goal just before half time but weathered the expected onslaught well although it made for an uncomfortable fifty minutes. Foran is a striker, Rooney is a benchwarmer and Imrie should be dropped deeper. Three points not to be scoffed at, I'll bet Killie would have liked them.

I agree with Bronson's initial post. We won, Imrie was gash, as was Rooney, not a ninety minute man yet. But hey ho, three points were vital and that is what we got. All the nervy uncertainty came about because we handed the initiative to Killie just before the break, conceding needless corners and ultimately a goal. Nothing wrong with the goal, but the play leading up to it well into stoppage time was sloppy, and that is what put us on the back foot. Strikers unable to hold the ball, defenders clearing their lines without looking and a stiff hurricane to spoil the spectacle. It was a reversal of the Falkirk cup game, we battered the Bairns and still lost, Killie battered us and lost. A handsome win by playing ugly. Under Brewster we were losing these types of games. I still feel that Killie are going down, Jim Jeffries face will be a picture to behold on that day.

DC I doubt we will do anything regarding this incident as you yourself have laughed off the suggestion. Also, you are not slow to reprimand/chastise others and have the odd dig at some posters. I was not a Caley or Thistle fan, therefore the merger did not fluster me, I was a fan of North football, and the way into the league was via the merger, good enough. These guys are stuck in the past and will never move on. They can't accept ICT and are extremely jealous of anything we have achieved, but are full of hatred also, and take it out on ICT, blaming them for killing off their club. Live with it.
