  2. There is a thread on the main ICT forum which has been discussing some of the Clach woes. got an idea
  3. bumpity bump for mainstander
  4. Sadly Charles, if we had got a fourth goal that day, we would'nt be having this discussion now :023: <<Pedant alert>>, it was the 5th of January :sillywave:
  5. This topic has been moved to Non ICT Board. long time since Bingo had anything to do with ICT [iurl]http://www.caleythistleonline.com/community/index.php?topic=6073.0[/iurl]
  6. He scored a good goal with a header from about ten yards into the roof of the net. I thought he looked the most likely of our players that day to do anything.
  7. Too much Elder, too much. :010:
  8. There is a Stephen Mackenzie shown in the -17 squad list on the official site, he is down as a defender.

I thought he was pretty ineffective for Hibs. He took about twenty minutes to get a kick at the ball. Showed his inadequacy when through on goal, no pace and no right foot. His corners were as much use as they were when playing for us. He disappeared for the first half hour but had a better last hour, but not good enough for the money paid.
  10. Reports that JJ will be resigning at Rugby Park. He has kept them alive for a while now, but looks like he is fighting a losing battle.
  11. Elgin doing rather well, 0-4 up at Dunbarton, none for Zander though Prunty scoring for Airdrie How do sh!tty Dons manage it, they are utter dross.
  12. you knob :blah01:
  13. Celtic 0-1 up on Killie at half time, Killie looking livlier since deservedly going behind. County cup game now scheduled for Tuesday 12th February Celtic cruising now at 0-3, 58 mins Stroll in the Rugby Park for Celtic, 1-5, going on ten, Killie completely outplayed. Samaras scoring tidy goal after coming on. He is a good player, quick and skillful, good loan for Celtic.

  15. No arguments from me if Roy is the fall guy, he is invisible all too often, we need guys like Imrie, allegedly, to spice things up going forward from the middle.
  16. Barry has been known to play on the left as well as the right, in fact he has previously been played through the middle, and anyway, I couldnae spell Paatelainen. What I am saying as you are finding it difficult to comprehend is that he may well find himself as an understudy to one of our more prominent players, but players who may well be moving on within the next year. As you rightly say, it's all guesswork at the moment, lets hope he proves to be money better spent than the money paid for Macdonald.
  17. He has been a standout at reserve games recently. I do believe he has something to offer us driving hard through the middle at tiring defences and unleashing a ferocious shot into the bargain. I am aware he is not top of your Xmas card list kencar but weakness aside, on footballing terms, a handy guy to have in the squad.
  18. Yes People in Cumbernauld have seen him play before. I'm sure he will do OK, maybe we will nurture him along waiting for Barry to step down and he is reasonably quick I am led to believe with a hint of aggression.
  19. I won't be going to Dingwall as their Cup game with Perth is off due to snow on pitch, around three inches of snow overnight. Roads North would not have been too pleasant either.
  20. Yes, everywhere has it's problems
  21. :024: wonders what rhymes with Imrie
  22. Dods had played for Hibs in the SPL 64 appearances for them. Chap called Dargo, you may remember him, he played 101 times for Kilmarnock and has UEFA expeience having played against Viking Stavanger. Playing for Killie he scored 22 goals. Gary McSwegan, he played for a few SPL clubs ( Rangers [18] Dundee United [92] Hearts [82] Killie [63]and has played in England for Notts County [?400K] and Barnsley. Notts County were in the top league around that time He also played twice for Scotland scoring once . Rory has played in the SPL, does he count as an established SPL player..............
  23. All this makes our tight purse strings look like a shrewd bit of business. It has been said many times before, but short arms and deep pockets have kept us within our means the last few years whilst maintaining SPL status. No big transfer window expenses, I for one am not unhappy with that. Call it a lack of ambition if you want, but we are still there and will continue to be so, with this philosophy. We can still knock on the door of the top six with what we have at our disposal, the spending of money does not guarantee success at the level below which the very top clubs can afford. Gretna.............................**** mend them.
  24. Thats a tough one on Patti, I believe he could become a very good player at SPl level, I am a bit miffed by that decision. Barry is still one of the few players in our squad that can change a game, all very baffling............ :017:
  25. Hey Johnboy, bringing threads back on topic will not be tolerated in any form, please refrain from doing so :blah01: it's all part of your training Alec Cleland is here now.
