  1. and score a hat-trick against the Hibees. Go on Marius, put them to the sword.
  2. It certainly will deserve it's own topic when the facts have all been revealed, maybe after five tonight, until then please keep the boards tidy and post on topics pertaining to the subjects in question. What you have posted is already on this thread therefore no new news being added, bit like this post I suppose. Note, the sub heading on this topic has already been altered to show that the original heading may not be the finished article. Anyway, I've just washed my hair and I can't do a thing with it
  3. I don't think anyone will disagree that he will be a good addition to the team. Prove to me that we would not have been so successfull if he was not playing. In other words, we might have been better with someone else playing. I doubt it either, but it can't be proven one way or the other. I commend your staunch defending of Phil Mrs McGuire and hope he does sign as he has certainly appeared to be a reason the defence is more resolute, but he is not the messiah, just another reasonable player . Oh, bye the way, what the **** is a genuine mistake.
  4. Ex ICT boss leaves Peterhead with Cooper taking over. From Peterheid webby Peterhead tonight parted company with manager Steve Paterson. A brief club statement said " Peterhead have cancelled the contract of manager Steve Paterson with immediate effect. "Assistant Neale Cooper will take charge of all football matters until the end of the season. Peterhead FC wish Steve Paterson all the best in his future career."
  5. new signings.............McGuire new players..............Wyness just back from injury new players..............Patti just back from injury and looking the part new players..............Watt, just back from injury, maybe even a new signing, but as he has not been seen..... We can achieve what we yearn with the players at our disposal, do we need new players, maybe not, what we don't want to happen is to lose players other than the likely transfer of Rankin, or maybe not.... confused.com
  6. Mixu that is, he will be the new Hibs Manager. Interesting to see if he would like his wee bro to join him at Easter Road.
  7. I might have to miss this one out as I am off to Jamaica a couple of days later. :029:
  8. Welcome back slovak...............lifes too short, your drum awaits you.
  9. re-McGuire making mistakes. I think what people are pointing out is he should in no way be holding us to ransom. I am on the line that he has done well for ICT, we have given him the opportunity to play in the SPL, he does make mistakes like everyone else, just that some of his mistakes have been brushed under the carpet because we have been on a decent run of form, he is not Dods or Mann, he would be worth keeping to the end of season at the least, but he is not the complete defender we have been looking for and should still bring in that six foot six stopper.
  10. Yes they will play a good team, they will play ICT.
  11. aye, plus or minus :hiding03:
  12. from the Courier online Bennett explained that McGuire has spoken to new Pars manager Jim McIntyre regarding his possible departure from East End Park and as a result of these discussions, Caley Thistle have made a bid to sign the player on a pre-contract given his deal with the First Division club expires at the end of the season. "We entered into talks with Phil's agent as soon as the transfer window opened and I'm hoping to hear soon if our pre-contract offer has been accepted," he stated. "If our offer is successful then the next step will be to talk to Dunfermline again and try to get him now rather than wait until the end of the season." Does that explain everything? It would seem that we are following a process whereby the agent is approached first before asking the owning club.
  13. getting the odd page to turn over quickly but mostly hanging for an annoying best part of a minute
  14. Last couple of days the site has been a bit cumbersome, bit like some of Rossco's tackles. Most pages taking thirty seconds to a minute to change. Anyone else expeiencing this?
  15. Don't think you will find many in agreement. Poor old Russell, he is not in vogue, but he does what it says on the tin. :021:
  16. The North stand was fairly packed. The away stand had little or no take up but that is down to Gretna fans. Was the price cut applicable to the main stand as well. I would have thought it maybe produced around 500 more bums on seats, would that be a near enough guesstimate.
  17. That was the easy part, the hard work starts now for Denzil :010:
  18. Russell has been playing well recently and has done his bit in the clubs recent success. He still gives the ball away after doing the difficult part sometimes, but surely the midfield is built around him and Black. Sustitutions were ok, the likes of Roy who seems to be part of this squad rotation scheme needs to get parts of games to keep him interested. Patti was a good sub, great to see him on and I thought he did excellent, at last a player willing to skin defenders at pace. Bayne, again a squad player getting his cut of the action and Marius being rested after his exploits. No complaints from me on that score. I thought Wyness may have been the more obvious one for hooking, however Brew's decision and I can't really fault it. Damned if he does and damned if he does'nt
  19. I'm with Gav again unbelievable stuff
  20. tm4tj

    Caley must win

Hey baldy pretty much spot on how spooky is that.
  21. Fair play roscoe23. i thought Rossco had a decent game today as well. In truth he is pretty decent most games but is not perfect by any means, unlike you and I.
