  1. Good news is that Bayne, Munro, McBain have all signed deals to keep them at ICT till summer 2009.
  2. There are batallions of them down the Longman waiting to replace any that fall during battle, whole regiments lined up well drilled and in pristine condition. We don't stand a chance, we're doomed laddie, doomed. :hiding03: :shooting01: :shooting02: :shooting03: :shooting04: :shooting05: :steward: :tank: :toilet01: :violin:

    Black Back?

Not sure, we did OK without him last night, but then again he may have given us the edge. The game may have suited him as we looked good when we went forward and the added bite in the middle would not have gone unoticed. I'll sit on the fence please.
  4. davieB, have to disagree about you disagreeing with me, Dods and Rossco played well in my opinion, Hastings maybe the pick of the defenders until the last minute. Dods passing always leaves a lot to be desired and he did have one senior moment but otherwise he and Tokely kept out a couple of lively players. Brown could have watched the game on Setanta, Grantie was generally solid agin, Bazza was always looking to take the game to Aberdeen, Duncan worked on scraps but did it well, Rankin had his best outing for ICT, McBain did brilliantly at our goal, Dargo made lots of unselfish runs and was unlucky he got too much Brazilian on the ball in the first half, it was in all the way and had the whole of the North stand off their erses, unfortunately the ball kept swerving past the upright, Bayne, what can you say, yes he can be a headless chicken, but so is a headless chicken, and he wasn't chicken when it came to heading McBain's whipped cross home, superb goal. I thought we always looked menacing when we went forward at pace, and but for a better last ball or slice of luck we may have scored more than one. On the other hand, the dimal Dons just about sums them up, we were the more likely to take all three points and yes it was frustrating to throw away a softish looking goal at the death from the otherwise reliable defenders. Kencar, I thought the game was decent and I also thought we deserved to win. The ref, well he was Ok, have seen a lot worse this year. IHE, sounds like ICT he was talking about, only point of controversy was I could not see Aberdeen scoring until we opened our defence for them, great pity but there you go.

  6. Hey...view from the North Stand..........we stuffed them 1-1. I thoutght that was the most enterprising we have been at home for a long time, well done to Manager of the Month Charlie and his team. We dominated Aberdeen from the start, and even when they got a little possession we still looked comfortable. Second half there was only one team going to win the game and we deservedly took the lead with a brilliant goal from the outstanding Bayne, swift move down the left, first time cross, and a diving header from Bayners to send the already delirious Northstanders into raptures. Maybe premature but certainly deserved..... however, somehow our resolute defence managed to give too much room on the Dons right wing and a harmless looking cross eluded a couple of players and ended up being knocked inton the net...........bummer. We looked like ending our winless streak against the Dons, but hey, it wasn't to be, but for me this was our most positive display against them, and they should be afraid, very afraid. Great performances all round, Dods, Rossco, Hastings, Rankin, (about time) Dargo for his unselfish runs, McBaon for the cross, Bayners for a fabulous goal. The rest were only brilliant, no failures tonight, and a good crowd despite the Setanta showing...............there goes my predictor............Gutted by the late goal, but hey ho, some you win, some you lose............or draw :017: Kencar............just spotted your post.................you are depressing me.

  9. The invasion of the brown wheelie bins has begun.............everywhere, on street corners, outside gates, lining the streets, everywhere you look, everywhere you turn, they are there, in front of you, behind you, to the left, to the right, sometimes in pairs or small platoons, surrounded by brown wheelie bins, you go to your work in the morning, come home later, and there they are, all over the place, guarding paths, lanes, houses, caravans, it is an invasion. Shhhh, keep your voices down, I am sure they can hear. Don't know how to escape to the game tonight, will maybe have to go undercover of darkness, dohh :010:
