  1. As a reminder, Rae appointed Gardiner.
  2. Superb article here on Scot Gardiner...https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/24542638.inverness-struggles-scot-gardiner-come-no-surprise/
  3. Everton are in free fall so a change of Management seems likely pretty soon. Perhaps he might be asked back to coach their young players by whoever takes over. That said, QOS this Saturday with our improved home support gives us a good chance of a win after their defeat at Montrose. Alex Ferguson came close to being sacked by Man U in his early days and our Fergie will hope history repeats itself if the ship is turned. There has to be a good chance we bring in an experienced striker this week assuming we can retain goalkeeping cover. We just do not know what will happen this week.
  4. To be fair to Ferguson Junior, he is good at keepy uppies in the warm ups. To be fair to Ferguson Senior, it is only in the last week that he has had some stability created by Savage. There are bound to be good players still available without clubs so finding the right one is very important. Strikers are normally difficult to find unless returning from say Hong Kong...that's going back a few years.
  5. Paul Allen was not offered a contract at Dunfermline because the club had a fixed budget. 67 appearances for Dunfermline, 33 last year. Aged 24. Will be experienced and driven to be back in Full Time football. Sounds like a good signing.
  6. SG still to update his LinkedIn page to confirm he is no longer associated with ICT FC.
  7. The good news if we do get Portuguese backers is that an easy chant could enter Scotland lyrics : ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole LOL At kick off Vamos! Possibly 'Ronaldo!' every time we have a shot. Might be time to re-name our Mascot who has not brought much luck recently with goal scoring shots.
  8. Incredibly good news. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/clyw88kx84xo
  9. If you have influence with him, encourage him to rip up his current lucrative contract and replace it with a basic payment by results one. He would definitely encourage a more attacking approach then.
  10. Spot on. The Club need to know there are a lot of professional and experienced people who support the club - in recent months we realised what it truly meant to us -would be able to help in some small way given the magnitude of what exists (so far). We can but hope DF and GB now feel they have to put something back themselves.
  11. Notice that the Courier did not ask how?
  12. It appears that he was quite authoritarian in his role. So he may have kept virtually every move to himself. However, this raises the question not only what was in his financial reports to the Board, but what did he tell the auditors? If he in effect took on the Company Secretarial role the Board would have sanctioned this. They will also have photocopied his professional qualifications when he was appointed. Hang on a minute.....
  13. To me there is a big question mark over the battery farm proposal. One minute we believe the club own the land, they stand to make over £3m which would have paid off liabilities with cash in hand, supporters were mobilised to write to councillors. The club appear to have sold these rights for £250K initially to three people - Morrison, Munro and Cameron. Who signed that off given that Munro became a shareholder? Given the fact that David Cameron resigned as a director of the club well before the submission to the Council what was his role in a company believed to be for the benefit of the football club?
  14. You forgot to mention his enormous ego, his lack of knowledge of Scottish football .....it will be interesting to see if AS has had a quiet word with him to encourage him to reflect on his position.
  15. Close but the first word was Am. Now rearrange kwana!!
  16. He could of course be rearranging the letters in his surname into two words of 2 and 5 letters and laughing at the fun he has had .
  17. Inverness get relegated. Morrison jumps ship. Gardiner jokes that he has resigned to appease fans. Club publish accounts and Auditor whilst concerned points out that Directors confirm company is a going concern. As a reminder these are the five people who are confident that the company is a going concern...https://ictfc.com/the-board/ They are all smiles and happy.....
  18. The good news is that Duncan Ferguson has agreed a 50% pay cut to allow the club to pay Dundee and Ross County and avoid further embarrassment to the club.....dream on!! The good news is that Scot Gardiner has now completed his period of notice (77 days) and leaves on Friday. The club wishes him well in his next Venture........
  19. We almost need a new thread that is headed 'Next Ferguson Excuse for Defeat'. Steve Paterson would surely come back for one fifth of Ferguson's salary. 'Gary Bolan Mr De-motivator'.
  20. Thank goodness we have by far the highest paid Manager in this League. He is an inspiration.
  21. Are we not struggling already?
  22. Gardyne gets himself sent off to avoid playing against ICT next Saturday!
  23. Confirmation statement now made. Morrison has ICT's share. Registered office now in Dundee. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/SC732789/filing-history
  24. Although Makwana is not on the face of it the legal owner on the Inverness Thistle and Caledonian Thistle FC Limited the Directors are allowing him to assist the Manager make signings. It is quite interesting to look back at Para 1.2 of the Accounts submitted on 3 July 2024. That is the Directors arguing that the action they are taking mean the Company will remain a going concern despite the caution of the auditors. For others, details of the share position were also shown as above (apologies to Charles and Achfary given their knowledge) of these)
  25. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/ketan-makwana-says-no-changes-at-the-top-for-caley-thistle-u-357528/ Sounds like good Management speak but the Courier again miss key questions such as those in your latest post Charles.
