I fear you might wait some time. As far as I know, the only remaining Board Members are Liz MacRae (Chairperson) and Laura Grant (who chaired the last two AGM's) Cliff Sim was elected on the night. Laura intimated her intention to resign at the AGM and must now go, so there is effectively no Board. The AGM was a farce, I'm not going to dwell on it as Caley D has covered it adequately. What has happened here is that the were members of that Board who are wholly responsible through their actions and inactions for the situation that has transpired. Liz must be wondering what she got herself into. 65 members? I know of at least that number who they couldn't be bothered to contact. We need to build bridges with the club, right now. We need to build bridges with the social club, right now. We need to adequately deal with the issues within the support (young team etc.) and communicate to the outside world. We need to sort CJT administratively and make it accountable to the membership. The situation whereby a membership can be reduced from 700 to 65 without telling them simply as a means of forcing an agenda can't be allowed to recur. As with all orgnisations of it's size, there's a small body of activists that serve a larger membership but more need to help out. I'm up for it.It's an important time for CJT and I hope that others can join us to take it forward.

DD, forgive me but is the Brechin game not tomorrow night and the CJT AGM the next week - 5th December? There's not much that would make me miss a game but I share your concerns and might add a couple more so this would. I had to re-submit my membership on Saturday after being approached by a Board Member on the grounds that there was no basis in CJT's rules for continuing membership and that's why I hadn't heard anything. Ifound that curious but if it is the case, the terms of membership as understood by most members would seem to have been changed without recourse to the membership or without publicising the fact. I'm aware of CJT's struggle with its constitution over the past while. If any member of CJT has not recieved notice of the AGM (and I still haven't) my best advice would be to download a membership form (Scotty has a link on this site) and get them in ASAP. You can then turn up at the AGM and question the Board as to why you have apparently been excluded.

As an ex chairman of cjt, I would have expected notification of the agm but I have not heard anything. However I know how difficult it is to keep track of a membership database, so OK. Where and when?

This was a great performance that seems to have signalled end of the road for McKinnon. Better team all over the pitch, vigurs motm by a mile. He was immense as was polly. Only their keeper that kept it respectable. Brilliant.

Sorry charles, it's a purely binary thing. Dead or alive. Given it's constitution, it really needs an answer from their board as to whether or not they are still in a position to function. If yes, all well and good. If not, my understanding is that the shares would revert to the ownership of the club (as in the present board) I have asked this type of question before and await any answers.

Caley jags together hold a significant shareholding in these circumstances. How do they intend to use these shares or consult the membership on how they should be used in any possible boardroom schism?

Sorry RiG, but the bit of your post I've underlined is simple unadulterated bull sh*t. I know that Don tried to recruit people (and did) after years of us - Don, Andy, Jack and myself - going to every game home and away to cover it, often at considerable cost and for precious little thanks. Do you know that a lot of the equipment used to give you highlights was bought by the people concerned? That they were paid not a single penny for their efforts? Got absolutely no freebies? Got hassle after hassle from people who really didn't want to be interviewed? Fought to get a better internet connection for the stadium so that we could broadcast highlights? And on a few occasions even paid their own petrol costs. Passwords? least of the problems. And then you tell us that we didn't want help? I'll tell you that I had actually tried to leave that media team so many times that Don and Andy were sick of hearing it because I was spending less and less time with family etc. I couldn't, simply because I could see on one on the horizon that would do the job and I didn't want yet more work foisted upon the rest of the team who are my mates. Don got new guys in and I went (to another unpaid, gladly volunteered matchday job) faster than snow off a dyke. Thanks for covering yourself with "maybe I've picked it up wrong etc." but that doesn't actually justify any of that rubbish. I'm raging that you can put utter tripe on this forum masquerading as considered opinion. It's not and a retraction would be nice. I'll wait.

As part of that media team for a long time, I can safely say that without @CaleyD there would have been no media presence at the club and what you are getting now is what you would always have had - or worse. Another guy who took nothing out of the club - no pay, no freebies, nothing. Someone who drove the team all over the country in his own car, sometimes at his own cost. A guy who drove a clapped out club minibus to Charlton and back with @ANDYCAM. Someone who singlehandedly got the team progressing from written previews and reports to pre and post match video and then on to match coverage with commentary. Someone who occasionally bought equipment that was needed. Someone who put our club twitter account into the realms of national coverage and recognition and facilitated the main star of that twitter account into accomplishing things that he never thought he could. (In the spirit of the "stig", that bit will remain cryptic) Put the club and CJT's web pages together and maintained them. All of this was done in circumstances that were far from ideal, sometimes with little cooperation and appreciation and occasionally at detriment to his health. Of course, being club media, it was never our job to hold the players or manager to account. We were there to support and the MSM could do the other stuff. It has been difficult sometimes to see the carping and personalised rubbish written on here and directed by people who, if they had put in half of @CaleyDs effort would have made a real difference to the club and it's suppporters. Still, it's easier to snipe. As @Fraz says, sometimes you just don't know what you've got until it's gone. Thanks for a great experience Don. You'll be missed.

I suppose that Kenny Cameron’s resignation had a ring of inevitability about it after we were finally relegated. It’s a sad way to end a Chairmanship that delivered a degree of success that might never be bettered. Scottish Cup winners, League Cup finalists, Championship winners and UEFA league qualifiers. That’s a hell of an achievement for what, in anyone’s definition, is a relative football backwater. That all of this was done on the back of a small support and an almost complete absence of financial backing makes it even more noteworthy. I’ve read a lot on here in the past couple of days that bears no resemblance to the man that I know. Uncaring? I’ve witnessed the pain when things have gone wrong. Uninvolved? I’ve seen the tears of utter pride and joy at Hampden. Uncommunicative? Time and again I’ve struggled to get a word in edgeways. There’s a tale of someone fetching up at the stadium looking for a “tour” and being shown around by “this old guy”. Time and again he’s chatted to our mascots, patiently explaining about why we couldn’t sign Messi – at least not this week. He didn’t take a salary. This is not a man who didn’t care. As a former Chair of CJT, he helped us achieve things that we could never have done without his support. He was instrumental in getting funding to charter the trains that took our fans to the League Cup Final against Aberdeen. As far as I know, it’s not been repeated. Any initiative for pricing and ticketing, he always involved us. Sticking up for us against the League’s central belt bias? Every time. I know that Kenny was incredibly well regarded by others in the SPFL as someone who was both engaged and genuine and the club benefited from that influence. However, if things go wrong there are fewer more exposed positions to be in than a football Chairman or Manager and when change happens it’s usually sudden, unpredictable and pretty brutal. That’s where we are right now and why there’s been the amount of anger expressed here over the last few weeks and months. Mistakes have undoubtedly been made but now cool heads are required to identify a clear plan to take us back to the Premiership and this year – of all years – it’s achievable. There is no Rangers, Hibs or Hearts to mount a challenge against and the club will rise to the challenge with the support of all of us, including Kenny’s successor. On a personal note, Kenny was a stranger to me when I first met him through the club. I now count him as a friend and I’m a happy boy that we shared experiences from Glasgow to Bucharest. Enjoy your retirement with Christine. You’ve earned it.

Well done Mods, a brave move although when the name calling and whataboutery that places like P&B can descend into is compared our disagreements ours are minor and very polite. There must, however be room for people to disagree and be given the room to do so - everyone who uses this forum is hopefully mature enough to spot spurious argument when its there - even IHE. BTW I don't like the "young crew" (what a dreadful name) behaving in ways that are liable to bring them into conflict with others but neither do I want them to be disenfranchised and wander away to watch something else or nothing at all. We need all the fans we can get and if we only have to put up with the odd ill-judged action or comment is that something those of us who ruefully have that t-shirt just have to put up with? I think that's worth thinking about. The only genuinely worrying thing in this whole thread is Charles Bannerman comparing (presumably his own) "gentleman's equipment" to a car exhaust pipe. I have a rule mate, it's stop digging when you are in a hole. I can tell you (with some authority) that 1 in 10 people will develope a mental health problem at some point in their life. This is regardless of socioeconomic status or education. There should be services in place for all of these people but there are specialised areas that require a distinct focus such as age related mental health, addiction issues and gender specific issues to name a few. Addressing one does not mean that you ignore everything else (which is what you are coming across as saying) you simply do what you can. That is laudable.

This. One in ten people will experience an episode of mental ill health at some point in their lives. This is fact. This is regardless of their job, economic or marital status. It is also regardless of their tattoo status. Every one of that 1:10 deserves support and if this is a way of reaching a notoriously difficult to engage group (young men in this case) it is unequivocally good.Superficial judgementalism is not.

It should be noted that under Paatelainen, Tannadice had become a dysfunctional place and was riddled with bizarre and plain bad behaviour. Gunning was not alone .I know this after being treated to some information leaked from the dressing room directly - something that has never and does not happen at ICTFC. I would be a wee bit circumspect about some of the above posts.

C'mon lads, please. Caley D has tried to help, given the options and then given people an option to contact the club if they really (italics to clarify the tone of the expression) don't like it. How is that pompous? What gets me in all of this is that the "official" name of the Club is "The Inverness Caledonian and Thistle Football Club" so if there is any abbreviation that should be universally accepted it's ITCFC! For a good while, fans of the football club and unconnected with what goes on social media at it have used the "pride of the highlands" to describe all sorts of things from pictures of us in Bucharest, Dingwall, Hampden to all points in between. It's something that has been reused by fans on Facebook and their own twitter ID's. It's gone on flags. Now, because it goes on a shirt (as an addition to an unaltered club badge) it provokes this reaction? I'm ever so slightly mystified.
