  1. Danny Macdonald got the 5th goal not Barry. Are we not getting the 7th goal that gave Herchie his hattrick!

    Split Fixtures

But on a positive note for them, the top 6 usually finish on the Sunday so an extra day to travel.
  3. Thought it was a pen, but because he got booked for diving G. Shinnie will miss next derby game! Punished twice!
  4. Ref was Steve McLean, 4th official was Crawford Allan.

    Off the rails

I hope he is right, as I'm sure that would mean a top six finish!

    Off the rails

Fair summary but not sure how we could have donated 12 points to them this season unless you know something of what's to come?
  7. Jim Calder? It was John Scott, got first offer on players top as it was his 21st.
  8. Not sure about this but given Mrs T said as of 48hrs ago Ross was not accepting a new contract with ICT why was this not reported by the club? Reading other items I have read in local media they don't seem to be mentioning this to anyone, they surely knew ? Disappointing as Ross would/should have been used in a youth coaching role as well as cover and given the respect he really deserved. Grant was also someone who didn't have an agent so maybe (not sure if Ross did or not) for everyone who has a dig at agents they can obviously assist a player as well!!
  9. Quote from Lindsay Tokely on Facebook:-So after hearing numerous untrue reports I'd just like to confirm as of 48 hours ago, after 16 years of service Ross confirmed he will not be playing for caley thistle next season. That's the last of the old brigade!
  10. I'm sorry but with each club wanting to delay the kick off the only people who couldn't be contacted to make this decision were the SPL! With Peter Lawell saying the fans should be considered more, it was him and Celtic who as the Inspection drew closer wanted the game cancelled as they thought the pitch would be too much of a leveller! It's great in hindsight to look after the event and say what if we waited but at the time when the referee was forced into the decision, he made the correct call. Given that the majority of supporters would have been in the vacinity of Inverness, why would the SPL not man up and give the game every chance of going ahead, but as someone else has said, not having someone available to make this decision was all down to the SPL and they can always hide behind the referee calling the game off but if they were available they could have taken the executive decision to put this game back and save everyone the inconvenience of it being cancelled.
  11. Not sure exactly what hyperbole is but from my limited knowledge you seem to think I produced a statement that's exaggerated for effect (not sure what part you mean??) maybe you can explain? If that's what you took from the post then I got it all wrong, my reply was to Huisdean and basically I thought it was a penalty and we didn't get a penalty later on because we didn't claim or appeal for it and referee decisions go both ways. Strangely can't remember saying anything about not taking chances or anything about scoring but you read into what you want! I also did not mention cheating, I said if in a position that you feel your are being fouled then claim for it, if someone trips you up then go down you don't need to stay on your feet, that's not cheating in my book.
  12. I thought it was a penalty at the time and looks clear cut in the highlights. I think it was Shinnie who dispossed Imrie and then played it inside to Foran who then played a terrible pass out and that was where the penalty came from, it's strange but there seems to be a lot on here who lament about playing the ball on the deck and not just punting it clear but if Foran had found row z with the ball out we would have gone in at half time a goal up! I think there's a time and place for everything and that was the time for the punt! There was also a case for Hamilton in the first half when the ball bounced up a struck Shinnie on the hand in our box and I've seen them given. The push on Sutherland at the end, I thought could have been given but we didn't even put the thought into the referee's head, Sutherland stayed on his feet and didn't even make any sort of appeal but I can bet if it was at the other end any one of the Hamilton players would have gone down and at least ask the question. In fact there were probably three seperate incidents that we could have gone down in the box but tried to stay on our feet, is it being too honest or as Huisdean said not streetwise?
  13. I'm not sure how accurate this is but due to his age (23) is there not something about clubs being compensated if they lose a player up to this age. I remember something about even if they didn't re sign you were still entitled to money as you developed the talent?
  14. I believe it was for the former Chairman of Inverness Thistle at the time of the merger. Who ever it was for it was great to see the silence impecably observed by both sets of fans. Charlie Cuthbert who was Thistle Chairman after Jock Macdonald, a real gentleman of the local game and sadly missed from the footballing community when the merger really took hold. my sympathy goes to his wife Marion and their family.
  15. I think it's a bit hard singling out those two when as a team we were poor in the first half. These are two foreign players who need time to get used to the Scottish game, time it seems like no one is willing to give them! I also think that having seen the way County played in the first derby and the heavy soft pitch, it wasn't a game to start Sanchez, he may have been more effective coming on later in the game. Why when it was obvious to everyone at the game that Bulvitis was struggling did we persist in playing in short to him putting him under even more pressure. The formation for me was all wrong in the first half, we were overrun in midfield and when our defence got the ball they had to pass it across the back waiting for some movement but we had too many players hiding not showing for it and eventually they had to just punt it aimlessly forward. There was a certain player that looked like he couldn't give a toss, I don't mind if you have a poor game but still try and work hard for the team but he was like a petulant child who everything should revolve around and when it doesn't he's not interested. On the county side you had the complete opposite with Gardyne (7) totally running the show but working hard for his team and deserved his MOM. I think TB needs to realise what team he is up against and that certain players need to be left out for the good of the balance of the side, some game are just going to be about a battle and you need the players who are up for that, unfortunately I don't think we have enough of that type of players to choose from!
  16. I'm in just tell me where amd when!
  17. There seems to be a bit of confusion with the officials, Stephen Finnie is a grade 1 and has officiated when we were in the SPL and so have the assistants. Don't know why you think they are some what less because we are in the first. I thought it was an afterthought to go down and I think Foran did as well because he was giving him pelters for not passing but falling over instead. I think one fact shows what a timid derby it was, only one yellow card and that was late on, not sure last time that happened!
  18. I'm slightly confused as to why so many poster on here think it was Lionel's fault we lost to County? The first goal was down to Zonal Marking and was put in at the right hand side of the goals, the second did come from his area but you can't honestly believe Vigars flick would have gone in if it hadn't have been for Bulvitus running onto it and it was him who actually scored and the third goal came from the right hand side and it was Stratford who missed the headed clearance. I do think he had a poor game and should have been taken off for his own sake, but if you look back everyone was saying what a solid back 4 we have and he was in just about everyone's starting 11. Give him the support he so badly needs because for those of you who do not understand that is why we are called supporters!
  19. Get off his back, how many players have folded due to the backlash of fans, the booing of him was an utter disgrace and if you were one of those take a long hard look at yourself and whether you are actually be supporting the team. Those without fault cast the first stone!!
  20. For the best two prospects we had ? Did you notice Brewster giving Vigars a warm hand shake when he came off? Yet it was the same person who wouldn't give him the time of day when he was with ICT! Woods couldn't even start, are you telling me that they are better than what we have?

    Get a Grip!

I cannot believe that I'm seeing the same posters on here who were waxing lyrical how well we've being doing suddenly losing the faith! Ok we lost against the scum, so what, it's a Marathon not a sprint, and I truly believe we have better quality in our dressingroom than any other team in this league. My only concern would be that Lionel was having a nightmare, and Terry took off Proctor, when it was obvious about Lionel and Sanchez was not even at the races. Defencively we have been OK but why suddenly introduce Zonal marking and that's why we lost the first goal! The second was an own goal and the third Stratord should have cleared. All in all a bad performance but to read all the negative posts, really GET A GRIP!!!!!!
  22. As for the debate whether Allison could have gone on for an outfield player, I think that the subs are numbered and no one is actually identified as the sub goalie, so as long as he had an outfield jersey with his number on, he could play outfield. Some teams don't use a goalie on the bench, and that is there choice, as anyone can go in goals as long as they inform the officials before they do it.
  23. :P GK - Adam Rooney, 12 Roy McBain, 14 Nick Ross, 15 Gavin Morrison and 16 Kyle Allison Strange way of setting it out as the GK would also have a number, so I am assuming that Rooney was 12, Roy 14, Nick 15, Gavin 16 and Kyle 17, so when no 12 came up on the board the announcer would have looked down and it was Roy on his sheet but it was really Adam, then 15 came up he said Morrison but it was Ross and the 16 he thought was Allison but was Morrison. :D Hope this helps, cause I think this is right!
  24. I got a teamsheet and this is how they had the subs:- GK
