  1. I'm a non smoker but have sympathy for those who are. The main stand has the open areas at each end without the roof, the North Stand has also got open areas at each end and opposite the main stand you have the area that was once terracing and also the singing section. Surely in a stadium the size of ours which is very rarely full even in the SPL, we can accommodate those people who feel the need to light up at half time. They would then not have to leave the stadium and cause any headaches to anyone. If they were to abuse this privilage it could be revoked but I cannot see them abusing anything but just being grateful that their plea was heard and their request acknowledged. Commonsense should surely prevail, they are not lepers but probably if they were they would get an area specially built for them!
  2. Is Brian Winter not a Cat 1 ref and he has had SPL games including ours.
  3. Ref was Craig Mackay

Were you actually watching what was happening, the kids had ten seconds to try and score and to HELP each one they got the announcer to do the countdown, it really annoys me when people slate others for trying to help. Even if the so called supporters didn't like it I'm sure the kids did and appreciated what was being done for them. Like most things in life you only get out of something what your willing to put in! Get a life.
  5. What I understand from most of your posts, is that you've never played a competetive game of football in your life and wouldn't know what to do if you did. Your idiotic topics, your stupid team selections, if you want to be taken seriously then start posting seriously. Have you been to the last two games? Get off Munro's back and start supporting the team!

Is Foran not due a scan on his knee, with the possibility of him being out for a few weeks dependant on what the scan shows? :dunno:
  7. Quite often the case throughout most games that he plays in as he demonstrates that he couldn't successfully pass wind if he tried. Yet he was able to do it quite successfully on Saturday!

Ok work in progress, think of the tune for "Lord of the Dance" (Chorus)HAIL HAIL Wherever you may be, we are the famous ICT, and we'll follow you wherever you may be, cause we're the famous ICT We started to follow when the story began, Caley and Jags two teams into one, we put aside our rivalries, so we could all follow the ICT. (Chorus) We were told that it might be hell, but in 10 years time we'd be in the SPL, Championees of Three and One, then it was the SPL for everyone. (Chorus) For 5 long years we kept our place, but then we had to give up the chase, it didn't matter much that we went down, cause we'll bounce right back when they hear this sound. (Chorus)
  9. Thought it was a decent performance but like most of these friendlies once the changes start the game loses it flow. Spoke to the agent for Bulvitas and Sanchez and it looks like both will sign. Thought Stratford looked a lot better in the middle. We needed to get the ball wide and on the deck because United were the land of the giants at the back and when we did we looked good with Imrie and Eagles. Imrie picked up a knock, so not good news with Foran also struggling, but would rather them get fit for start of league campaign than try and rush them back for Saturday. I thought Rooney looked ok tonight and was unlucky on a couple of occassions. Poor goals that we lost more to do with us being sloppy rather than good play by United, but encouraging.
  10. Any help out there, we're neck and neck with Luton!

It reminds me of a T shirt rather than a football top, but strangely I quite like it and my son thinks it's mint!
  12. Where do you get the Stats? Fair play to NLP great score, I stopped when I thought everyone had given up! Just check to see we got promoted. It will take a lot more from everyone to get even higher!
  13. Did you notice Gary Mackay Steven, the young boy from C*unty who went to Liverpool, think this is the boy that kept George Adams in a job when he was sold! Could be wrong tho, but what a great shout to give him a chance to come back home and with a chance to get in to the big league. Does anyone know this boy?
  14. That's me done in - 1st place over 10.6m points and top score for us with 130150. Who can beat it?
  15. Who do you think picks the Captain? Is it the manager or is it down to the other members of the team? Interested to find out who actually picked Grant. :D
  16. Why do you think that? Has Grant not shown the same loyalty and passion? What about Russell has he not? Do you know what makes a good captain? :015: I would stick with Grant, unless he felt it was right for him to pass it on.
  17. He was the most capped and successful player to ever play for us, but unfortunetly for him the success he had was built around the Kiev way of playing, which wasn't really suited to Scottish football. If he had been able to work with full time players then who knows?
  18. Ian Black Barry Robson Darren Dodds :022:
  19. Is that why Celtic chose to go for a former player? Is it not because they know the club? Do you think that Don Cowie was one of our best ever players because he went to Watford? Alan Smart must be high up in your estimations, as he also went to Watford and got them into the Premiership. Don't see him on many popularity poles! You talk about dark ages but how many big teams have kept on the services of "old favourites" just because of that reason? Your rant and post is flawed! Sorry :party01:
  20. Do we know how the shareholding is broken down? I take it Tullochs are the major shareholder? Seems a lot if you only need 25% sharehold to get 50% of the directorship. What would it take to get a shift of the power base, new major investment? Do the supporters trust not have a %?
  21. Excuse my ignorance but what is the qualifications/requirements for someone to be on the BoD? I take it they don't get paid?

CaleyP, Thanks for that, I would say as a final post on Iain, I spoke to a good friend who is involved with ICT and he thought that Iain was the best prospect they had and did have the talent to do really well, I respect his judgement and would say because of that it could be a costly mistake that we end up paying for in years to come.

My apologies, I really should check my facts and also not post after one too many, but I took this as fact and was obviously wrong to do so. So for all you Stato's out their I am humbled and will not post ridiculous statements that have not been vetted by appropriate persons! As you will see this is where I got my Stats from, (god sometimes I hate the internet!!) :33: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Sut...and_(footballer) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iain_Vigurs
  24. As you will see I have apologised for my Faux Paus.

Ian Vigurs was our most promising youngster and one of a select group of ICT players that can pass the ball. He arrived at Elgin at 15 y/o played about 20 odd games then signed for ICT and in the 4 years since then has played 20 odd games, which part of promising were you thinking of, 6 years and an everage of 8 starts a season? Everyone has jumped on the band wagon of Vigurs but no one seems to have given a second thought to Zander, same age only been on the pro books 3 years played twice as many times for Elgin and over twice as many for ICT has also chipped in with more goals, and while at Elgin got nominated for 3rd Div Player of Year. He didn't get a chance with Butcher due to injury (think he had an Op) and also released, I think this is who we should be moaning about losing rather than Vigurs or Wood but of course Zander doesn't have his mate on here to push through his personal agenda(CaleyP)!!
