  1. Might be an idea to play Tremarco as a striker
  2. Eirene, you could try the Highland Archive Centre Inverness on the following link who might be able to help, https://www.highlifehighland.com/highland-archive-centre/ another place might be the Highlanders Museum on the following link, who cover the Cameron and Seaforth Highlanders which amalgamated in 1961 to form the Queens Own Highlanders. The Camerons and Seaforth recruited mainly from the highlands and islands so there may have been some of the Mackay family in these regiments. http://www.thehighlandersmuseum.com/ Just a coincidence I started work for British Telecom from 1975 and knew another linesman called James Mackay who was based in Inverness but he retired in the 80's.
  3. Thanks for that DD you are the "font of all knowledge" DD I will get a better sleep tonight now
  4. Oh FFS do we have to support England tomorrow night
  5. There are not many Jaggies do that Can you stand up and shout it louder at the next game
  6. Well at least there is something happening on this thread compared to the lack of action on the transfer window
  7. You are right DD I hope that was done when we sold Ryan Christie to Celtic as I think he will go on much further in his career but I don't think that would have been done.
  8. I think he is sometimes might be a bit like some guys I used to know who would have a sore back when there was work to be done
  9. He got a lot of stick last season along with most of the team because they were sh1te. Although he is not my favourite player I am delighted he has improved again this season.
  10. Unfortunately that's another mistake that they made, should have kept Brill instead
  11. I fear you are right monty!
  12. A good result to build on for our next game away against St Mirren who had a good win against Dundee United today.
  13. An update from the Chairman. http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/1979-chairman-s-message-24th-august?utm_content=buffer9e0aa&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
  14. Looks like you will have to buy the Highland News caleyboy
  15. The loan deal for Greg Morrison is off says Robbo in today's P & J also Warren is doubtful for Saturday
  16. I just read this in the P & J Business Magazine, Alan Savage page. Locally, I am fascinated at what's going on at Inverness Caledonian Thistle. I think the big question is who actually owns what and - more to the point - who is actually in control down there? I hear the old guard still seem to be hanging on to the car parks behind the stands - presumably waiting for Waitrose? Muirfield Mills are now 10 or so in number and they seem to be calling the day-to-day shots. Let's hope Robbo (John Robertson) gets the support to keep ICT in the Championship as a realistic target for now.

    ICTFC Open Night

Lets hope he is a fixer for a lot of things and a thanks to DD for his well versed reports which are great for a fan that goes to watch the football but does not go to these events.
  18. That will be for the playoff spot for staying in this league
  19. Further to the ICTFC Board statement issued on 14 August 2017, we are pleased to announce that the “Open Night” with our season ticket holders has been scheduled for Monday 21 August 2017 from 18:30 to 20:00 pm at the Press & Journal Lounge in the stadium. As space is limited to 120 attendees. Should the meeting be over subscribed, arrangements will be made for a follow up session as soon as possible thereafter. Afterwards, attendees may wish to stay and watch Monday Night Football and the bar will be open. Representatives from the Club will include the Directors, Chief Operating Officer, Football Manager and senior coaching personnel. As part of the Club’s communications plan, we plan to hold regular events of this type with multiple ICT stakeholders with the objective of keeping our supporters up to date with ongoing business and footballing activities followed by a Q & A session. This is an opportunity for the Club to engage with the supporters, share ideas and embrace their feedback. Apologies for the short notice of this event, but we feel it is important to get this forum started as soon as possible. Graham Rae
  20. Yes but if it wasn't for Tullochs our club would have gone bust, although they got the advertising providing the deal goes through donating the stands we have done well out of it.
