Jagster, there is no such thing as a free lunch, your £4.99 haggis probably cost you £6.49 looks good though.
  4. As long as there is talk in the media about flares and smoke bombs it is likely to continue. I was searched the last time we were in Dingwall and I am nearer 60 than 50 I think it was just random like today. If there are no more smoke bombs I am sure it will fizzle out! Again today he young guys at the front sang and danced with the stewards just watching on which is good on both counts keep it up.
  5. We had the chance to steal 3 points near the end of the game but couldn't even do that! Not looking forward to the Hearts game next week.
  6. Charles your Sports reporting for the BBC is ok but I hope they never ask you to report on anything to do with politics
  7. It's the thick white stripe in the Seaforth tartan unlike the thin yellow stripe of the Gordons.
  8. Even with a magnifying glass I can only see there are cars there!

    David Bowie

The only Bowie record I bought was "The Laughing Gnome"
  10. Is that old fountain in the council yard with the rose window or did it go to Orkney with the Faith Hope and Charity?
  11. In the days before the Glen Bar, and I thought it was an old building.
  12. Seaforth Highlanders WW1 uniform.
  13. Must have been when they banned the drink!

    THE DANCING

You are getting good at the cars Charles, the one behind the Police car is a Volvo 122 and I think the white one is an Austin Cambridge. The Tryst was re-named the Hebridean and was frequented by the "Teuchters" after the Carlton in Ingles Street closed, I wonder where they go now
  15. And that's another photo of Willie Deans, second from the right.
  16. Good photos IHE, it would have been a beautiful house in its day, I assume that the name Mackintosh Road came from the owners name. The bunker which is used as an emergency command center by the Highland Council which is on Mackintosh Road first left at the top of King Duncans Road. There was another one (must have been a secret one as IHE didn't know about it) on the right up King Duncans Road was filled in about 1993 and had flats built on the site by Macrae Builders.
  17. Here it is, not easy to get a good photo when it is so busy.
  18. That's what you call a train, the location of the old turntable is marked in the Morrisons car park with cobble stones. If CB didn't know that he will be down looking tomorrow
