  1. I look forward to seeing the reply!
  2. Just remember he has gone and there is a new beginning round the corner!
  3. I think his wife is from Spean Bridge
  4. Where in Invergordon is there a pavement that wide and that level...having tripped along them a fair bit? Out the Saltburn road, its not your car either then?
  5. I agree with DoofersDad in the post above.
  6. It is very amusing not that long ago many on this forum were saying that it should be Arise Sir Terry and all that crap! How things have changed in little over a week. Terry has done a very good job with ICT with a very limited budget, well done for that. What happens tomorrow will not be a surprise now and I hope the board will make good appointments as they have done in the past to replace all who go. Still looking forward to the rest of the season with this great team.
  7. Here we are daft buggers on here at this time on a Friday night expecting to find out what's happening with Butcher!
  8. What about Dougal if he is still about!
  9. That was way before my time watching Caley but I do remember him in his orange Daf car, the engine had a strange sound which would give you a warning he was about. Now that could easy start another thread!
  10. Fox is a cheat and I would NOT think Dean Brill was a total genius if he did it he would be a cheat as well!
  11. Is that looking along Rose Street from the railway bridge with the gas lamp on the corner of Innes St? I am not that old to remember this one.
  12. I do believe that bus is turning left from Strothers Lane into the Farraline Park bus station in an era when the ramp up to MacRae and Dick can still be seen behind it. Judging from what looks like an Austin 1800 and the very short skirt on the girl who appears to be wearing a Royal Academy blazer, the photo may date from the mid/late 60s to the early 70s. The tin shed on the right of the photo is also long gone. But to return to topic - I have only been on the Caley Club bus once, for last October's derby. I could certainly recommend it, except that when I came back out of the stadium after that particular 3-1 home win I jumped on to the bus in the layby with the words "Is this the Caley Club bus. I looked up just as one of a number of very glum faces replied: "No! This bus is going to Dingwall!" It was a very long five steps back off that bus amid robust abuse The car is an Austin 1300, if you look closely you can see the badge to the right of the rear number plate KST 344J
  13. I think this should be moved to General Nonsense!
  14. Great result and good support today including one ex Caley rebel seen in the North stand with his grandson. It is never to late to come back!
  15. I totally agree, it sounds terrible! Much better with the old First Division.
  16. Was that not the original Wine Shed beyond the main stand? I have vague recollections of my first footballing experience in Inverness, being in among the Clachers in the Wine Shed, and being scared at all the shouting, and the heady smell of booze. All the Clach stands were like that! The first football match I attended was there after climbing over the wall and not being to impressed I went to Telford Street and started supporting Caley.
