  1. Here's another clue while Mantis is sleeping it's very near to where I took a photo of a Calmac ferry that he had sailed on
  2. It's on the west but well south from Fort William another view.
  3. It's Corpach just along from Banavie.
  4. Is it Banavie? The bike looks the same as one that was at the John Cobb memorial
  5. I remember reading about the Kingsteps Quarry in the local news. It's a pity there were no photos of these airfields from the past.
  6. And in England one in five are contacted. Are you still self isolating? Yes of course I am they reply when they are really down the pub for a pint
  7. That's a bit of local history I didn't know and there is nothing shown on old maps although they would not have been recorded during the war years. There was a wartime airfield northwest of Brackla Distillery at Cawdor. See the picture from Google where it clearly shows where the runway was in Easter Ross.
  8. That is the Brookfield housing development under construction another easy one Could it be to do with the old building at the tree line which I think is now a shed behind another house. I always remember it and think there was another two looked like old war time buildings but have no Idea what they were.
  9. I thought it might be a bit easy for you
  10. It's a lot nearer Sneck than the last two posted
  11. It happens in all jobs to good employees and even more so at this time I hope that those who are not offered contracts from football clubs and those made redundant by employers will find some work to support themselves and their families.
  12. I think you have it Robert a place I haven't been to so that's my excuse we will have to wait for Mantis to finish his dinner now.
  13. I hope it's open might see you there
  14. My initial thought was Ardrishaig but the older houses put me towards Tarbert with all the bhoys for moorings before the pontoons were built. I will need to sleep on it to see it I have any more thoughts.
  15. It must be an age thing I am going round in circles can't get my ticket and was going to shop online for the grandchildren! I will go down to the shop tomorrow if it is open might be the easiest way.
  16. A good one Yngwie I like these old stories, if it was on a backroad in the Highlands I might have got it
  17. See the post by sneckfan it might be a help.
  18. I was there and what Steve Paterson and David Sutherland said was right!
