Not much of a sunset on the Kessock Bridge tonight but looking at the shape of the hills through the sleet and snow looking west I think that's it.

Most people don't know how to disable their alarms. On tourist kept turning his of from the top deck when I said to him don't lock it. But someone might steal it ? They won't get far I said ? He did that but watched the car until we berthed!

I traveled on this one many times to Orkney. The Pentalina sailing from Gills bay to St Margarets Hope which was less than half the price for my works van than going by Northlink from Scrabster to Stromness. Pentland Ferries do not receive any subsidy from the government unlike Northlink Ferries who receive millions each year! There is now a new ferry Alfred which has recently replaced the Pentalina.

You have been to many places well off the beaten track Mantis! There will be many photos that I would never be able to even guess. Mull is a beautiful island but you will not notice any improvements in the roads in 30 years. I have never been to Barra or the small isles there is still time. Enjoy your travels we have a beautiful country although many folk do not appreciate it

No Idea on that one not impressed with the modern building but like the setting which looks like a sunken garden and there might have been a beautiful house there.

Loch Awe Hotel and Station. With that lens you have it makes Loch Awe look like a river when you took the photo from the Cladich road. I had to think quite a bit!

I have only been to Campbeltown a few times and don't remember seeing an island out in the loch. Thought it was such a dour place even worse than Wick although there were some nice places on the way down the road.
