  1. Be interesting to see the Hamilton "fans" reaction as they were quick to boo him whenever we played them.
  2. The vultures are circling......
  3. Did anyone else feel we were a bit overcrowded on saturday? A large number of fans were forced to stand behind the terrancing on the walk way (marked with yellow chevrons) which not only made moving around very difficult but surely must be a serious violation of health and safety. I'd hate to think what would've happened had we been required to evacuate the terracing in an emergency.
  4. Without going into details I've heard from a reliable source that the Savage deal could have gone ahead, with the debt being wiped out, but the plug was pulled due to another party's involvment with repect to commercial interests outside of football. I'm watching what I say without naming names and making any libelous statements.
  5. Yeah think Gudgie works better
  6. The Dingwall based Galactic Inter Planetary Outerspace Ship's (GIPOS) maiden voyage was a disaster after it crashed into the Brechin hedge
  7. TB and MM's contracts are up at the end of the season and I seriously doubt another will be offered/accepted without SPL football next season. Brewster tried going with youth last season and was heavily criticised for it, whereas the current regime have adopted the same approach in a lower league (!) (with similar results) and don't receive as much flak. I couldn't care less if our manager is a big name and raises our profile, I just want a team I can be proud of.
  8. Must admit I did question his commitment when I saw his name mentioned in the tv listings this morning. Wonder what my boss would say if I asked for the day off so I could go and work for somebody else? It's a poor show from someone I used to have a lot of repect for but is quickly making the fans turn against him
  9. Here here. Better than the usual guff we have at half time.
  10. Does it also come with a stuffed crust?

Wow I must admit I quite like it
  12. Not been a season ticket holder for a few years but have managed to make around 3/4 of home games and a few away days.
  13. John Robertson never hid the fact he'd love to go back to Hearts one day as a manager so when the chance was there he took it. Brewster on the otherhand responded to a question linking him another job (I forget which one Hibs or the UTD job) he's still learning as a manager and caley was the ideal club to do that, shortly after he left. I would welcome Robbo back with open arms if the manager's job was vacant.
  14. Maybe it's time for a change up front, our main problem seem to stem from our strikers not taking enough chances. Lets face it we have 4 young guys with a load of potential but maybe the pressure is getting to them a wee bit. I think they need an experienced player to pair up with them similar to the Brewster/Crawford partnership at Dunfermline years ago. Since our manager (the ideal choice IMHO) is retired, why not give Barry a go at playing up front and see what happens. And if it doesn't work then what have we lost? Most of out goals are coming from the midfield anyway.
  15. Is there a free bus from the bus station on monday night down to the game? If not will the Caley club be running one?

It's possible. I saw Bennet, Parkie and Charlie at the Clach v Locos game last saturday plus there's a buy back clause in Ally's contract allowing him to return to ICT for £3000 (I think).
  17. I do believe this is the Hogworts quidditch Team complete with star player Harry Potter on the front row far right :015: :015: :015: :015:
  18. I've love Elgin to win then get us in the next round. I'd even let them have the home advantage. I work in Elgin and I get dogs abuse for being a Caley fan. I would love it, love it for the chance to give them a doing!!!
  19. Where's Grassa's name in the list? I might be mistaken but is he not undefeated during his caretaker role? Just a thought....
  20. For the last 20 mins I thought I had travelled back in time and was watching ICT from the Pele days!!
  21. And that old Bob Dylan Classic The guttering is ( blowing in the wind)...... I'll get my coat
  22. Prices Look about right. Same as the ones in the Northern Scot today for all Elgin FC friendlies
  23. I think pre season need to be a mix of relatively easy games to get match fitness and a few more challenging games to help the mental preparation. Personally lower league opposition isn't necessarily less challenging, we certainly didn't set the heather alight last season against supposed weaker teams.
  24. Blimey, If we carry on at this rate we'll need to be sponsored by Clearasil!! Always good to see local talent ....usually in Mr G's on a Saturday night
