Inverness CT -V- Hamilton
Good to win but we were woeful in the 2nd half. Let Hamilton boss the game and push us back to our own box for most of it then wasted chances on the break. I think it's just delaying the inevitable and we can't keep a clean sheet. Play like that against Killie next week and we'll get humped. Andrew Dallas (from Lanarkshire?) also had a nightmare in the 2nd half.

Strip
If our situation wasn't as bad as it is I would give that comment a rofl, but sadly you are absolutely right. I wonder if RF had a hand in choosing that strip too.

FORAN OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A change of manager seems to be working for Dundee so far today. Just to rub salt in our wounds Ross, Vincent and Williams all seem to be playing their part. That's us pretty well fooked now!

Ross County -V- Inverness CT
When I made postings in November and December last year about how I felt we were sinking into the mire and feared the worst I was lambasted by quite a few folk on this forum and told to stop being so negative. Now when you read nearly every posting on tonight's game these seem to vindicate my "alleged" ramblings. Nevertheless I have continued to go to matches in the hope that we might turn the corner. No chance though after witnessing tonight's debacle, not helped again by not getting the rub of the green from yet another referee. I was also listening to Barry Wilson and Charlie Christie on Radio Scotland whilst driving back early from Dungwall. Yes, I was one of the several who left immediately after the fourth goal. Up until this season I had never left a game before the final whistle. I must have left at least five times this year alone and tonight was the earliest, with 30 minutes to go. Some folk around us left when the second goal went in and headed for The Mallard. Charlie touched on a number of matters post match that suggested there are more deep seated issues, which I also heard strong rumours about two weeks ago. With poor home attendances and not kicking on after our Cup win, youth and Under 20s players not being offered new contracts, a large senior squad with a high wage bill and retaining a manager because the Board can't afford to sack him, all points to a club in serious financial trouble. Yet we have been told the Club has been in the black for a few seasons now? If the rumours I heard from more than one source are true (and I desperately hope not), then we don't just face dropping into The Championship, but League 2 for next season, just like that dark force of evil from Govan. This would be very very grave indeed and I fear we might never recover from it.

Director Richard Smith Resigns from Board
Is there something more deep seated than just a difference of opinion on the way the club is being run? How secure are we financially if we go down?

POST SPLIT FIXTURES
Couldn't agree more. We could do with about half of those who were in our end of Hampden for the 2015 Scottish cup final to provide more vocal support. All our remaining games are just as important with every one a cup final. Don't see why the local press and radio station can't help drum up support too.

Foran - Should he stay or should he go?
He should have gone in November last year, when he lost the dressing room and said he's to blame. That's also when the players got together to see how they could improve things. They have all failed since then to kick on and climb the league. If I was in Richie's position at that time I would have walked to save what was left of my dignity. Now it's just ridiculous to let things go so far towards the Abyss. I really don't understand how the Board have keep faith in him so long.

Team for Muvversmell
I'd go for a 4-4-2 as follows: - Fon Williams Raven - McCart - MacNaughton - Tremarco Mulraney - Tansey - Laing - Cole Mckay - Fisher Subs: Esson plus 6 others drawn from that tombola drum thingy in the photo.

APRIL FOOLS DAY
I've been waiting all season for us to really cut loose and thrash a team. The closest we came to that was the 3-0 win at Motherwell but we have never come close since. I think if we were to play 2 wingers plus Fisher and Billy Mckay up front v Killie then it will increase our chances of that happening.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
I agree. Hopefully Ryan Esson has fully recovered from his real fractured elbow.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Yes, confirmed in the same Courier article.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Yes and then the Courier scours our website and turns it into part of the main back page article today that says he's out for 2 to 3 weeks with a knee injury. Amazing!

Inverness CT -V- Ross County
Spot on. I very much welcome the singing and flag waving to help create a better atmosphere at matches. However. I deplore the alter-ego of a number of the youngsters. I found the verbal abuse and barging of those trying to protect a lady in an electric wheelchair from being over run by the mob near the pie stall utterly disgraceful. Those who witnessed this and complained to the police then faced more abuse from the mob for doing so. If this behaviour goes unchecked then we potentially face the regular experience of having to watch what's going on in the crowd rather than on the pitch, just like in the 1970s and 80s, and then some fans will stop going to games because of it. The spilling over of mob behaviour into the streets putting others at risk also means more policing and cost to the Club. The long term damage this could do to our reputation and the sport in general is unthinkable.

I agree with Scotty and Ronaldo - too much sniping and bickering for daring to express an opinion on the performance of the team. I wasn't the only one who came away from the game feeling as if we'd lost after the effort of some of the players. We still struggle in defence and we have a few players who just don't do enough to justify a place in the starting line up. Glad we moved off the bottom though, but amazed how we are still in touch having failed to take more than 1 point from so many games. The support was great today but can those kids stop acting like casuals and start behaving themselves? There was no need for their antics at half time in the toilets and snack bar area, and certainly lying not along Longman Road towards the railway station after the match. About time they learned to show respect for the police and their own fans or someone is going to take away their sweeties and give them a lesson they won't forget.

First choice back 4
Does it have to be a back 4? I think we need to play 3 at the back plus 2 full backs capable of both going forward and defending well. Our defence has been pick-pocketed so often this season when we haven't had midfielders that provide the cover needed when other teams attack us down the flanks. So my picks for a back 3 are Meekings (if fit - Mckay if not), Laing, McCart with Raven and Tremarco flanking them in the full/wing back positions.
- Let's just do it!!

Development League 2016/17
....... but Brown, MacLennan and Wilson are still allowed to play for our Development side?

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Strange that we let a 21-year-old fringe defender go on loan to Cove Rangers then bring in a 19-year-old defender from another club. Jason must wonder what he's got to do to get his career moving forward with ICT. Strange one about Doran, particularly as he wasn't mentioned amongst the injured players. Yet, on the other hand, Fisher was on the bench last night when it was announced beforehand that he was still out but no injury mentioned. Is this just squad rotation?

Should We Replace The Manager ? Poll
It would be interesting to know how many points we have taken this season when wearing that vanilla away top. I can't recall us winning a league game when wearing it and perhaps only gaining two draws. I know there are other more serious problems, many of which have festered since the time Hughes was in charge, but I think that top has been a bit of a jinx. No wonder there were plenty of them in the JD store before Christmas when the home top was sold out.
