They were saying that vinegar of castlemilk was playin gthrough the pain barrier last night and is carrying an injury...good if that big **** couldnt play.

Yo-Yo season
That was my point, we were inconsistant in the goalscoring department before Denzil and Dargs were injured, so was it a mistake for CC to attempt to blood a young / inexperienced striker with a debatable attitude at such an important time?

Yo-Yo season
If Well' win or draw tonight we will drop to 10th place, and once again we will be mixing it with the relegation teams, albeit with a fairly comfortable cushion. After a poor start hugging the bottom of the league we by the end of september won a few and started to climb the league, looking good trying for 4th place no less, then the collapse back down the league, then a few more wins and we are talking 6th place, with some stupid people even talking euro. Now after three defeats ICT are back down near the bottom, i tell you this is doing no good for me hair colour or the finger nails, i am getting feckin dizzy. I am feeling like a Johndo patient, all to feck in me head. Do you think CC blew it by persisting with Rory? or should Sweggie have been given the staring slot, he is after all desperate to stay in Sneck and has more to prove.

16 Team SPL
Do you think the club accountants would like to see us play 3 or 4 fewer home games? naa... cant see it. especially if was against the old firm or Aberdeen and the full house. Unless they try a cup for the bottom 6 or 8 teams like we used to have in the old Welfare league.. used to call it the duffers cup :015:

Since we have so many...
He also talked himself up big time before that game in an interview for the Highland News, he had to back that up with a display.

Since we have so many...
What's interesting is that actually compares favourably to Wyness' goals in the past season or so. We seem to have hit quite a lean spell not just in the last couple of weeks but past few months! Cant compare these two as easy as that Andrew, Wyness is a proven goalscorer who we know can and will score goals for us, Rory on the other hand is youngish, has had a good few chances to shine and has'nt shone or scored! Dont think Hart is all that fit, so maybe a sub? Sweggie should start against Tic, far more experience than Rory, and Black should be on from the start. Who to take out is CC's choice.

Three league defeats in a row - time for change?
I cant see him keeping the same team for the cup game, as CC said the cup is a much bigger lure than 6th place, i think he used yesterday as last chance for the team he has been starting with this last few weeks. The cup game will i'm sure see him making those changes, if these players cant score against a ***** Hearts and a ***** Motherwell what chance have we against Celtic. If we go out of the cup the last few months are going to die the death.

Three league defeats in a row - time for change?
How many games will Rory get to prove he has 'something' untill Dargo is fit? this seaon, unless we have a complete collapse this season is safe, so we should have another spell the top league. So the scenario is we are losing Dods, lost Broon, will we lose Dargo?-probably, we could also lose Black if the right money is waved at Grassa. Has CC the ability to bring in players of similar quality? there is a nag in me head that we cant afford to do so which is concerning, also CC claims that the youth must be given a chance, fair enough but at what point will he admit to himself that players are not good enough. I think he has gambled that Rory will step in and use this opportunity to shine, and apart from the Celtic game he has failed miserably.

Who do you fear ??
' We've witnessed in the past what Rory is capable of,' Err.. remind me again

Ref v. Celtic
I agree totally yngwie, in fact i think you should tell him yersel a week sunday, that is as long as yer not attending another rugger match instead. :016:
-
Who do you fear ??
I fear the fact that CC thinks Rory is the answer and the future.

Ref v. Celtic
Does it really matter? most of the referees we see are hopeless and clueless, and it could have been Calum Murray..

Motherwell Game
After the last two games Mcallister does not deserve a start, i'd put Patti on the right and Barry just behind Bayne, might even get Black a start instead of Roy, needs to be changed a wee bit for sure.

Reserve game
And..... dont try posting on the site from the A9 after the game

Eastern Promise...
From the same website 1st Feb: 'The Caley Thistle boss was adamant he would only bring in a fresh face if they would improve the quality in his squad, and following an ultimately futile search he has decided to utilise Graham Bayne, Rory McAllister and Gary McSwegan in attack for now.' Ooops.... wonder if he having nightmares after saturday? could he not find anyone better than Rory or Sweggie?

Hearts V ICT - matchday thread
Just back from Embra after an excellent drinking/eating/sporting/socialising weekend! as Mantis said avoiding all the Welsh almost impossible but we managed to aquire plenty drink and a very nice dram glass to boot.... well one person did. The footie... well its mostly been said before but we looked ordinary yesterday, very ordinary, not much to shout about, maybe Baynes shot, Barrys shot and Rorys single contribution gave us some excitement. Why CC continues to play Mcallister is totally beyond me, the guy is either not fit at all or he cant be bothered, or both, against Hearts he really looked like a schoolboy out of his depth. CC in my mind has gambled in that Rory and Bayne he would see if given the opportunity, they would show what they can do together, and in two games we have seen feck all. On the other hand maybe he tried to get a striker as cover but failed, and had to hope these two would come good, whatever side is accurate matters not a joss because the rest of the season is going to get tough and not pretty.

Barry's 300th
Sis in law got me a dvd for xmas, Him from Corrie that owned the factory ? anyway managed to have a look the other night, bizarre goals and bloomers from across the world of football. Some real crackers, a couple from Scotland ( Gould arse up ) but, lo and behold a young looking Barry playing for Livvy runs past the Motherwell keeper squares the ball across the goal mouth only for Hammil to smack it into the net, nice one Baz.

Your Thinking On The Celtic Prices
A tad romantic EWS, we are now playing the old firm in ' big ' matches every season, we are not really a wee diddy team from thne first div anymore, beating Tic will not cause the west coast press apoplexy anymore, ever. Winning the cup would of course.
