FAO caley100 ... re HASTINGS
Should have added that Rossco should have a player breathing down his neck - wanting his place, i think he has become a wee bit complacent. To be fair Dicky has done no bad, but if you remember he was only brought in for cover for a fine ( at the time ) Golly, we could do with better if we want to improve.

FAO caley100 ... re HASTINGS
Din think my comments regarding Rossco and ******** would come to much notice, but there ya are, its just opinions. Rossco starts every week, whether he plays good or bad, and for the last 8- 10 games he has to me, been off the pace. Just count the goals we lose from crosses from our left back area.

stop pikin on caley
Try writing a post in english so people can make sense of your writing, and try not to use the forum with text talk. pls

An interesting dilemna ??
Are you feckin wise? see next time you go to a game... look at the pitch. For 70 minutes we totally controlled the game, looked bery good and should have scored 4 - 5 goals, Midden got a goal when we settled for a win and put us under pressure. Mcbain was very close to being my MOM.

DEFEAT AGAINST MIDDEN
Yep... enough of thus double negative and ice, we played very well for 75 mins, should have been four up at least!! But 3 points and we are away from midden and well away from pars, if we had been offered 6 points from the next 3 games just before the gers game, i would be very happy. anyway, the team looks good, but a new left back and right back would be nice for next season, cos Rossco is poor, and ******** is weak.

Who picks MOTM?
Holy Furballs Batman!!! its a postive post from Bonzo!

Who picks MOTM?
Don this would never raise the same amount of money that the Man of the Match sponsorship takes in...believe me. Trouble is although this sponsorship takes in lots of dosh, i have witnessed guests with not a great deal of footie knowledge choosing a player who did not really deserve the title.

Give Charlie 5 more games
Dont think we will see Mr Cromarty for a long while.... he got a red card :025:

Home support leaving early???

-
Team for tonight...
I would start with Drago / Wyness up front, no point in Bayne/high ball stuff tonight. If Dargo cant make it anyone but Mcallister - please. Hastings is supposed to be injured as well, will Golly get a start?
-
Give Charlie 5 more games
Probably Tetleys eh? Anyway, it more likely to be your own refection John! But back to the football thing, the team needs new blood, so i hope the board give him money to boost the squad, and not some second rate 1st div players.
-
Hmm
Hope the board give CC some dosh for the January sales, Rory is crap. The only time we look like scoring is when Dargs and Denzil play. Be nice to get a point from the Huns, and 3 vs Midden to start the year in a positive, but too many players with too little quality around just now. I'm beginning to wonder about CC subs...some strange moves in that department.

Dunfermline V ICT - matchday thread
Its a fact that we are now looking at avoiding relegation instead of looking at a maybe top 6 place, this scenario breeds nervous football, so get used to it from now on in. Was Dargo suspended today or injured? Anyway 3 points against the Huns will go down very well... (cough, cough) :006:

Funniest thing you have heard
Aye naelifts, but 'they' didnt tell ya that the tickets are for the feckin away end... :015:

Funniest thing you have heard
I'm sure i heard that one too Mantis, but was it not a wee bit more like ' did yer ma sh*g a badger '

Funniest thing you have heard
It was a better time for banter/slagging when we were in the 3rd/2nd/1st divs, we stood at the wall and the banter was very good between us / ref's / players. Willie Young was always good for a crack and came back with one liners when slagged. A couple of good shouts at the ref ( not me) was near the touchline, ref blows for a foul ( against us) holds his arm up to signify the foul, to the shout from the crowd ' hands up if you're a shyte ref ' Same one is shouted ' hands up if you're a poof' In these days of stands and over zealous stewards, we cannot get the same banter with players/officials.

Merged Killie gloating topic
Does killiefan not frequent the Innes quite a lot? was he a previous ICT fan?

"Charlie Isn't The Man For The Job"
I was of the opinion before the game that an improvement in peformance was required, oh how well we played in the first half, pity the defence was still in bed and couldnt match the rest of the team. Now, however we need a result against the Pars, and i dont give a feck how we play as long as 3 points head up the A9.
-
Mark Brown and penalties
Cant blame Brown too much.... the defence was woefull, Hastings was shyte for the first goal, Dods let Naismith past him too easy for the second, where was the cover then... Cant comment about the sec/third (pen) but Caff seemed slow to tackle about 35 yds out and let them run through, Caff has no aerial strenghth and i cant see him being the answer if Dods fuc*s off in Jan.
-
That's Better!!
Exactly Gordy, points are a priority at the moment and although the team played well going forward, the defence was terrible, gifted them goals for 3 at least.. One thing we now know what has to be done next week, this game will make our season, lose and its a desperate situation, win and we can look forward. Hope the players realise the importance of next week as they enjoy the Drummossie pysh up.

Dargo & Bayne
'Aye but target-man type centre-forwards invariably don't have great scoring records. Joe Jordan being a prime example, ' What about Hartson / Sutton / Hateley ? ' Hastings had gone to Canada' Really?
-
The winning formation that will beat Killie?
Rossco knows that he has no competition for his place, Caff although good is no right back, we need to have a rb to pressurise Ross for his place.
